information about you
during our pre-show instagram live post you are wearing contact lenses yes for
the first time in
the show maybe yes i normally have glasses so it might look bizarre to
everybody so i look bizarre
we love looking at your beautiful blue eyes let's get a deep deep close-up let's
get an ecu
where's my camera
open them wide
wow look at those beauties
now do that those wide opens but no smile
and we do have a no smiling rule on the show today in fact yeah i'm trying to
keep saying sorry
to report that news i couldn't stand it captain carlin the worm dude is holding
things down he'll be
taking your calls when you call in warning please have something to say
they call me can't be oh i love tim special it's the best just have a topic
come on yeah that's
something also try to resist this and i know it's hard because this is just our
english language but
try to resist saying how's it going i got worms i know what i like when you
have when you need
advice i like that people who need advice but i'm gonna do a i'm gonna do a
blanket answer to the
question how's it going pretty good pretty natural thing though for people to
say hey tim how's it going it's hey want me to answer for you tim yeah okay you
be the caller
hey tim how's it going okay that'll work in fact i'll just uh yeah we can just
do it
uh have that be the the drop when someone asks that question i don't even need
to open my mouth
everyone's gonna say it today now i have a few different answers for that
okay let's try one more hey tim how's it going who cares
one more doug hey tim how's it going okay oh okay
did you just say good
i haven't introduced you yet oh yeah sorry wait i have another one kill her

doug diminishing returns just like your trumpet what no that's not true that's
fair those returns
are going to be building and growing not like the stock market easy now yes
daddy come on all we care
about is what happened yesterday which was a big boom where everyone everything
went up and
everything's great so we don't have to look at the stock market ever again
everything's worked out
he's done it mr comeback king
you ever watch golf on television
it's like watching flies fuck
it's not like that at all
i hate flies
well let's welcome our special guest
guest we will have a musical guest later a kit a kid named tim heidecker is
going to play a new song
really talented cool talented guy i like him a lot he's got talent
did you see uh well um cool special guest is i'll introduce her now melissa via
senor is here
yeah finally i know it's been we've been trying to make this happen and i'm
glad to be here finally
thanks for having me on our list i think you're a tremendous talent thanks and
of course a veteran
of the saturday night live tv show yeah five years more six six that's pretty
good that's great
eight you have some of these people out there who didn't last a year
yeah what did kyle do eight did he say i can't remember if he said it did kyle
mooney do eight
eight or ten i think it was eight now you have people that you came i was
looking i did my leap
my little bit of research yeah just a little bit of research i was looking at
who you came up who
you came on with who's still there that would have been mikey day is still
there yeah i mean he's
the best he's very good he's so he holds that thing down he's their their
anchor he saved me
he wrote the dirty talk sketches for me oh i did those where i can't dirty talk
i don't know if you've
seen that one but it sounds familiar it was with aziz and and donald glover but
yeah that was he saved
my my butt that first season because i didn't know how to write anything all
right so it's a your
your experience on snl like everyone's is i'm sure complicated it's yeah it's
tough so on it if i if
i said you rate it from a one to ten overall we have factor everything in well
the the the opportunity
but yet how you felt doing it the quality of the work the fun you had put it
all into a big blender
give me a number and and ten would be the bestest yeah well i think we're gonna
talk say like seven or
eight yeah that's that's really good yeah that's pretty good so not perfect not
not not it's not an
11 but overall overall and you left on your own terms yeah you said i'm done i
can't stay at this
late anymore i think it was a mix of that and the the the work of it yeah i
didn't i don't know it
just uh i wish i was a little more i i wish i kept going sometimes oh there's
moments where i did
interesting i've heard i don't want to get into all this i'm not getting into
all this forget it
one thing let's get into it hey yeah somebody somebody said the quote was like
when you think
you want to leave stay one more year because you actually can do another year
well that that was
actually before my last season i was contemplating it before that and then i
asked out loud i said
what do i do a universe angels do i go back or not and then that day i got like
three different
signs of like a billboard saying don't give up someone i ran into said you're
my favorite on the show
like all in one day and i was like all right i got it loud and clear and i'm
glad i stayed because i did
some of my favorite stuff on the show okay so you did get that extra year when
you thought you were
going to leave yep i was going to talk about um right before i introduced you
oh trump i'm so
disappointed in my la dodgers oh because they're going right they went they
already did they went to
the white house and just kissed the ring and it was very embarrassing to watch
but boy every he brought
up all the guys and every time he brought up somebody there look at their show
hey show hey otani there's
a good looking guy oh no he does it all the time that's a good bye he's a good
looking he's saying
everybody he talks about these guys oh mookie bett now there's a guy there's a
good looking fella
what's the clip i sent you guys that's a free did you get the clip i sent you
guys i don't know what
was it at the white house yeah oh that's like last week right no president
trump is counting president
it's him talking about baseball well i don't know wait how did we get to trump
in the white house
with the because that's the free association show yeah yeah that was on your
mind this morning
when did they go yesterday they went baseball home run derby no no no i can't
believe you don't have
this i don't think matt look in your thing it's like three days ago i'll show
it to you tuesday
maybe technology oh this is okay yeah listen i asked you to get this i asked
you guys to do
one thing a week wow i know
tim special video healthy they had great arms but they ran out it's uh it's
called sports it's called
baseball in particular and it's called baseball in particular yeah we know all
right yeah i've been
talking about basically they know that 10 minutes it's called sports it's
called baseball in particular
oh you did i do have that oh geez geez do you guys say what did you have the
clip i sent
but the thing is i don't stand very many clips so many clips speaking of clips
and and things did
you see i also sent uh there's i guess people are starting to wear like
congress uh cabinet members
are wearing pins with donald trump's head head on it oh yeah whoa look at this
one this is also in the
chat i'm throwing matt for a little oh was i in the chat and i didn't see it
you're not in the chat
oh okay do you want to join our group chat i mean what's your group chat uh
life like you know
who's in it that's i have a family chat with my brothers and sis and my parents
um
you know when i have there's one with this is not looking good no i was just
thinking about so
there's one with my just my brothers and sis and they do talk about the news
and stuff but i'm not
that well versed right so good for you anytime i try to chime in and i go that's
dumb they ignore me
because i have nothing to offer you for whatever i post in the office hours
chat i get no oh that's
not true no haha no heart is as if i didn't post at all yeah the chairman of
the federal communications
commission that regulates communications uh that's him right there look he's
got that trump pin
and it says the the pompous kind of that's the pin his head's up it's to get
rid of the extra chin
oh i see yeah um well let's take a call real quick we like to start the show
off with uh what are those
those is that why we did the the uh the uh the artwork with the dancing bears
you got the dancing bears
tattoo oh that was not intentional no no what is that these are little mariachis
oh that's i thought
you had those grateful dead tattoos oh that would be cool i did that free guys
i did that because
we do have to get out the vote though just real quick real quick psa oh the webby's
vote go ahead
matt i'll give give you the honor you want to increase our margin we're still
in the lead let's
we're nominate list it's not a big deal but we are nominated for best podcast
yeah in the comedy
category there's a link in the description there's a qr code i can't hear those
little things the
little drops the little oh wait more the little audience i was hearing them
very far i mean they're
meant to be kind of yeah oh i don't want to be too distracted right that's
enough qr code and then
