here's my question and my quiz my riddle i'll say it's a riddle i think
everybody can play
except for one person well i guess everybody can play no nobody can play except
the audience and
you and me because the the boys will figure it out pretty quickly but the
question is who did
i go to a movie with last night oh oh well do i get any follow-up questions
they're in this room
so maybe it's just a question for you well can i can i ask what movie as a hit
as a hint well yes
maybe that should be the second question i just gave it away was it me uh
it was a screening of a movie that's coming out next week or so it's yeah it's
11th
all right so obviously it was doug it was probably matt i think i could be i
could be faking though
that's true movie fan oh you don't know yet you're a movie was it wicked for
good i know
vick told me about it yeah i already mentioned it yeah i know too well maybe
the audience should
well i guess yeah let the audience know but they can pick what they can decide
what movie let's get a
zoomer in matt real quick hey we could guess what movie if it's not out waiting
for call now ella mccain
christy pooh can you uh can you weigh in i already saw that twice
couldn't get enough i went to the midnight screening of j kelly last night what's
that
exactly yeah what is a new george clooney movie who's online who's on the zoom
this is christy pooh
i wasn't listening i wasn't listening hey christy pooh what's going on where
are you calling from
um i'm a little north of albany i'm on a construction site cool looks like you
got your
skateboard with you skating skating are you building a skate park
hello i think he just he murdered uh he murdered a young skater and he's
buried the body and he doesn't know what to do with the skateboard say it again
sir i run the corn
i run the corn boy account i sent you that gear the license plate frame oh
sweet i that's still on my car
thank you nice it's not your license plate you guys copied our you guys copied
our idea we came out with
the license plate frame and then you guys come out with you know office hours
life frame you know
yeah that's an original idea do you have a guest do you have a guest you guys
all right bye-bye i really
want a license we can get you one i want a betty boop one oh yeah we can get
you one on amazon thank you
matt does anybody else want to guess anybody uncle jeff about what movie this
is a tough one this is
like oh you're no one's gonna guess what movie went because it was a private
they might they might
though wasn't it listed or uncle jeff you gotta guess coming out next week uh
uh you know okay what's
coming up it wasn't marty supreme was it no but who did i go see the movie with
i guess uh vic that's
correct whoa very good guys you know because it was it was basically a
publicity stunt because there is
there is always these people out there that think vic and i are feuding with
each other and there's
animosity between us so i wanted to see us in public right you know like some
pictures
and we put all that stuff to rest we said you know actually i like the guy a
lot
i wanted to see it you know we go out to the movies oh you could guess who uh
sat next to me
too that's true another another controversial person in our lives controversial
uh because he said
statements that we uh have take umbrage with yeah i don't agree with him
personally very well very
close in fact apparently on this gives it away but on his show the other night
he made a statement about
vic that vic would be leaving office hours in january and yeah and that he
would be taking the place
mr tom sharpling was in attendance warm for him rabble rouser that's fine i
mean he's he's been in the
business longer than me so i'll have to just accept it well we went that's not
true and he's we're all
having a little fun there but did you squash the rumors yeah yeah i didn't get
the invite no i know
i i needed to i would have loved to decline it i just want the invite right
there were so many empty
seats it was sad it wasn't that many well me and doug were saying ella mckay we
saw a friend of the
show paul sheer sheer was there yeah but here's what we saw we saw this new
documentary about cory feldman
oh i just i heard about this and it's a doozy i thought he'd be there and i
hear people going
when we're sitting waiting around like he's here he's here but but they weren't
well thank god he
wasn't there i know because it was uh is it what turned violent official it's
on if it's not he did
he's in i mean it's it's very compelling but i'll tell you what my issue with i
think everyone should
see it i'm recommending it yeah it's not a fluff piece no no it's pretty dark
and i don't come
away feeling too positively about it no like like at one point you're like he's
a bad guy
and but there's it's also has this sort of because it's a lot about the band
you know his musical
ex angels right yeah cory's angels they're all women they all dressed like
angels and there's a lot
of the first half of the movie is kind of spinal tappy with like just a lot of
you're telling me
this guy's a creep really wow this guy wow yeah but there was this guy in front
of us he's reminding
me of someone someone he used to know yeah there's a lot of that and then there's
there was this guy a
couple guys in front right in front of us vic oh yeah anything mildly amusing
do you know these people
or anything mildly amusing this is this guy because he makes it about himself
it makes it yeah
i swear to god it was that
do you think that it's because it was a private screening so they feel friends
of friends or something
yeah or like they're feeling like oh i want i want everyone to know that i'm
laughing supportive
laughter yeah well it's like it seems like a very funny documentary well there
was amusing it was
certainly amusing at points but vic and i were looking at each other like jesus
this guy needs a
straight jacket yeah yeah i wouldn't recommend watching it in the theater
because i think everybody
went in there ready to mock him you know laugh at him yeah and that's what yeah
it ruined it yeah before
the movie we're like i don't really want to like sit here and like laugh at
this guy who's like very
troubled tim did you put the milk duds in the popcorn or did you keep nothing i
had you know what i had
a cup of water yeah you got me a cup of water too it just wasn't what it was so
nice i'm shocked no
snacks at the movies wasn't a popcorn classic tom was going hard on the easy
with that no he was he
was chewing on those uh milk duds he was a milk dud boy i went to see a movie
the other day that i thought
was it was just a normal movie yeah and it was like one of the strangest
experiences have you heard about
the like art video archives room at the vista yes i've heard about this so the
vista is a theater
a beautiful old uh turn of the century theater i don't know it's from the 30s
or 40s or something
yeah beautiful what do you call art deco and it was it's a great theater but
then tarantino bought it
and upgraded everything made it even nicer painted it yellow for some reason
you have to take your shoes
off when you go in there there's lots of cameras on the aisle but then um but
the yes so he opened like
a uh what do you call it an adjunct no what an annex yeah i would say it's like
a some kind of a
supply closet that he has turned into the theater and well i just didn't know
because it was just listed
on the website as a screening and i went with hannah and we we didn't know
their binder and um we
we just we walked in there they were like well it's in the archive room do you
know what that is
and we were like no she was like it's just the door next to the bathroom and so
we went in and it's
like 20 seats that's a big supply closet 20 seats i guess that's true but it
felt very intimate um and
it felt very intimate in the way of like the seats were very close together and
uh then this guy was
introducing the the movie and was saying basically because it's all like old
prints of stuff
that are from tarantino's archive and he's explaining that the sound doesn't
really work
cool and and this is the last time they're ever going to show it and you know
he actually tested
the sound about a month ago and you know it it's not great but it might even
out by the third reel
and this is on film then yeah yeah it was like a an old film reel and then they
started it and we
couldn't hear anything and it was just like every time someone would be about
to speak i was like
okay now we'll get some information it was like what era what year of the what
the 30s
yeah what are you going to see a movie from the 30s for anyways unless it's
like wizard of oz
right what's the name of the movie i don't know why did you go uh i don't know
hannah just said
like let's go see this it's there i said okay sure and we had no idea what it
was and then um
we left about five minutes in and it was shocking well um tarantino's in a
little bit of hot water
yeah oh paul dano he comes out and like takes the swing at uh at uh paul dano
oh right paul dano's great was it just completely random well he was making a
list of his favorite
movies the 20th 21st century or something past 25 years and i would have put
there will be blood
up at number one except for that paul dano he's the worst actor in hollywood or
something huh oh my god
chill okay okay okay
