Vic Gets Fired, Tropical F*ck Storm, former Glendale Mayor Dan Brotman (Episode 372)

Son, you could be a professional baseball player.
They said thanks, brother.
I like having fun.
I like to ride.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, right.
Oh, no! I just drove off a cliff!
It's me, ladies and gentlemen, falling, free-falling, and I'm free, free-falling.
Tim Heidecker, just on his new motorcycle, going out on a ride for the first
time.
Ah! Over the cliff!
Kajaboo!
Fire!
Ah! Fire!
Ah! Dad, I'm on fire!
My first damn time, this helmet didn't do shit!
Give me fuel, give me fire, give me...
Dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit, dammit, here I go, I'm all going over the cliff!
My worst nightmare!
Ah!
Guys up top, at the top of the cliff with machine guns.
The fucking thing, that's what could happen!
I am the god of hell fire!
Wait, what happened?
I'm driving my motorcycle!
Why are they shooting you with guns?
This is my nightmare!
Oh.
I don't know.
Hell, that's hell.
Yeah, and I go...
Oh, fuck!
And then I land out of this cliff, my body's on fire, but I'm alive, somehow I'm
alive.
Am I going to live?
No.
Because there's goons up at the top of the cliff with big machine guns.
Just filling me with holes.
Who's that?
What is that about?
Light my fire?
I just typed in fire.
Oh, good.
Break on through to the other side, light my fire.
We didn't start the fire.
There we go.
Anyways, it could happen, ladies and gentlemen, because today is...
Check the site, go!
January 29th!
Why does the eight and the nine always look basically the same?
Do they really?
To me, there's...
Draw it.
Look, draw it, draw it, asshole.
Nine.
They're way different.
And then, anyways.
Wait, let me show you how I do an eight here.
He can draw it.
He actually has a pad.
I'm ready to go.
Here, let me have this.
Everybody that has a...
I don't know what you're trying to...
By the way, everybody that has a pad these days don't have a pen.
No.
I got a pad and another pen.
There you go.
Right.
But we should do this, though.
We should write this, because this is what the kids are doing.
Get this in the algorithm.
Get out of here with that.
That's been officially canceled.
My daughter said...
Millie said that there's no more of that 6-7 business.
No, that's still going.
That's not what I heard.
You can't get rid of numbers.
They did a meme reset.
Anyways, it is beautiful, cold, crisp morning here in Glendale, California.
One of the great cities in America.
One of the safest places to live, they're telling me.
And we've got with us another tremendous show planned for you today.
We've got the group known as...
And I hate doing this.
I hate using swears.
And I think this is in bad taste.
But despite the bad taste, they are great musicians in a lot of ways.
Maybe the greatest musicians of Australia.
You want me to beep you out?
Yeah.
Ready?
Yeah.
We have with us from Australia, Tropical Storm.
All right.
That worked pretty good.
And I heard them sound checking.
It's going to be pretty intense in this room in about 45 minutes.
But we're also...
We have a surprise guest coming in for our city of the day.
We're going to take your calls.
Look, are we going to excel to the heights that we did last week with our
friend Fred?
We'll try.
But I've got to say, if you didn't watch the Fred ep, some of that's the best
shit that you're going to get out of us.
And I don't know how to compete with it.
So I'm just going to be honest.
But we're going to do a damn best because I've got the best two guys to help me
along on this journey.
Two of the great guys out there now doing sound effects.
I'm going to go...
What I'm going to do is kick it over to my right shoulder here on the left of
your screen.
And that's just none other than DJ Doug Pound.
I'm going to have to say good horning.
I also would like to premiere my drop of the day.
Yes, you've got a drop of the day.
Wow.
Is that somebody we know?
That's Joe Rogan.
Wow.
That's right.
Heard of that guy.
Anyway, look, Vic, we're also excited to hear what's going on with you and Vic
Berger the fourth.
I'm going to display my new drop too.
Let's see if this works.
Remember they said I didn't come and then they found out I did.
I got an award.
But I got a little, you know, I have a throbbing feeling.
He had much more than a throbbing feeling.
All right.
I got one that goes with that one.
If I had fucked him once, he'd have come back for seconds.
Lots of boings this morning, folks.
Captain Carlin is here to take your phone calls.
We have a terrific hotline that if you want to call in and complain or yell at
me or do whatever you want to compliment us, you can do that.
Of course, we're on Zoom.
Let me just tell you a couple of things that we want to tell you about going on
in the world outside of this show.
We have the On Cinema Live experience coming end of middle of March.
And those tickets are still on sale.
Many shows have sold out.
Many shows.
There's only a few tickets left.
We've added early shows for both Seattle and Portland because of how quickly
those shows sold out.
So we're adding the matinees that are now available at, if you go to highnetwork.tv
slash, oh boy, events?
We'll see.
And there you go.
The Oscar special is also happening the week before we leave for tour.
That's on the Oscar night.
It's the final Oscar special.
And we're gearing up for that right now.
If you're an annual member of the High Network, you have no issues.
You just will get the Oscar special.
If you're only a monthly member, you get a discount for the ticket.
But it is a ticketed event if you want to watch it live or watch it later.
Because, folks, it is the greatest show on earth.
It's a three-hour live masterpiece.
It does Barnum & Bailey's.
That is true.
It is better than Barnum & Bailey.
You ever think about doing the Oscar special for Oscars of the past?
You know, like 1961 or something?
Maybe we'll have to.
Maybe we'll have to.
But, Doug, please stay out of the on-cinema writer's room.
Oscar the Grouch.
I was never.
Christ almighty.
Jesus.
But listen, we want to start the show today with some congratulations.
We have big congratulations to...
Oh, also, one more thing.
I'm sorry.
A film that I'm in that we shot last year, more than a year ago now, in New
York,
with the Kevin Kline and the Julia Fox.
That movie is going to be playing in L.A., one night only, on my birthday, next
Tuesday.
What?
I want to go.
And that's Fior de Latte at Film Independent.
It's a one-night-only event.
Great.
How long is the movie?
I don't...
How long do you mean?
Under three?
What's the run time?
It's one of these, three hours?
Yeah.
Showing off.
It's a quick one.
It's an 88-minute or something.
All right, I'll take that.
So that's happening.
Look on my Instagram if you want to find that out.
Of course, we're asking people to strike tomorrow.
The general strike starts at midnight tonight.
I thought you said trike, like get a three-wheeler.
The trike strike.
The trike strike.
And then we'll ask you to just stay off of the work and school and no shopping.
Don't go to Target and Home Depot and Lowe's and any of these places.
Saturday can load up.
Saturday, load up.
And today, if you want to go down there and stock up as well.
Get it all now.
Yeah, just buy extra stuff on either day.
Well, we must send a message to Wall Street, to Main Street, to the president,
to everybody.
In numbers, we have great control over the direction of this country.
So participate in the general strike.
Just type in general strike anywhere in your browser and you'll find more
information.
I don't think there's much you have to do except do nothing.
Sounds good to me.
Now, but I do want to wish congratulations, Doug and Vic and everybody in this
community to Patricia Schneider, of course, who's finally decided to divorce
Rob Schneider.
That loathsome vile.
Loathsome.
It's very Neil Hamburger, isn't it?
I spent a lot of time with Neil Hamburger this weekend.
It's rubbing off on me.
But it seems as if Patricia has escaped the clutches of venomous Rob Schneider.
Oh.
Go, Rob Schneider.
He's looking like Neil in that picture, too.
Oh.
Yeah, look at that.
Whoa.
Whoa.
Whoa is me.
What's going to happen to the latest season of Real Rob?
Get the hell out of here, you son of a bitch.
Yeah.
The Tomster, making copies.
Hey, Rob.
How's it going?
Hey, Rob.
Mr. Tom.
Tommy.
Yeah, what's up?
So how are you feeling today?
This must be a little embarrassing.
Making sandster, making copies, making copies.
Well, obviously it's not working so well.
Also, congratulations to our first lady, Melania Trump, who's got pretty
exciting news this weekend.
She's going to be debuting her big documentary about her.
I guess it's supposed to be pretty good.
Hoo-yah, Navy.
Hello.
I guess it's getting good reviews.
Have any reviews come out for it?
I guess maybe it's been one of those press embargoes.
What do you think, Matt?
Yeah, they want to wait and let the real fans see it first, that kind of thing.
She's out there doing press, though.
And, you know, we don't get to hear a lot from her.
So we think, you know, there's that sort of perception that she's, like, abused
or something.
Or she's, like, oh, she's over Trump.
She lives her own life.
She's not a Trumpster.
She's not a MAGA person.
She's, like, worse than...
She's, I think, a full-on...
She loves the fascism.
She guzzles it down.
Yeah.
It doesn't affect her at all.
She doesn't care.
Hoo-yah, Navy.
But now she's got to go out and plug this movie.
By the way, they spent something like $17 million on a documentary.
What is this, The Avengers?
What are they paying Rob Lowe to do a walk-on?
What could cost $17 million?
Bribe.
Mm-hmm.
We don't know.
We'd love to get a...
I'd love to do an audit for that budget.
What costs $17 million?
$35 million.
$35 million.
$35 million.
Possibly $40 million.
And then does that include marketing costs?
Because they're putting billboards up for this show.
I saw a billboard in Silver Lake.
It stinks.
Which is...
I'm sure it's been vandalized.
$35 million for marketing.
I heard they used Louis Vuitton cameras.
Gucci lights.
Gucci lights and mics.
Gucci lights.
Balenciaga.
Balenciaga.
Balenciaga.
C-Stans.
C-Stans.
I saw this guy.
Do you want to hear from her?
Yeah.
I did just one second on Balenciaga, though.
I saw this guy at my kid's school.
He was wearing this shirt that said,
you wouldn't believe this shirt.
It was a big T-shirt.
Big, like one of those designer T-shirts.
And it said, Balenciaga Erwan on it.
Big Erwan.
And then it was like Balenciaga Erwan.
Oh, it's a collab?
Yeah.
That's a pretty embarrassing thing to wear around town.
But it probably cost $200.
Gucci crew sweatshirts.
After we wrapped the Melania documentary,
we all got these really nice Gucci sweatshirt hoodies.
Melania.
Puffy coats.
She just did on MAGA hats.
But she used to go out and promote.
She'd rather not be doing any of this, I'm sure.
This is the thing.
I think she loves all this stuff.
Maybe she's way worse than we were thinking.
I mean, she is horrible.
Look at this nut job here.
Look at the marbles not connecting it between the eyes here.
Watch what she has to say.
He would like to have a country that all of the people can walk down the street
and not to be harassed or murdered.
Oh, really?
Oh, would you?
Or human raped.
I think it's very important.
And what happened a few years ago, so many criminals came over the border.
And he closed the border now a while back already and we need to take care of
our citizens.
Shoot him dead in the street like Alex Preddy, huh?
You like that, Melania?
You fucking finger yourself watching that clip?
I'm getting excited.
Sorry.
Whoa.
My husband wants nobody shot in the back?
My husband doesn't want anybody shot in the back?
But if it happens, it happens, okay?
Maybe this guy is a bad guy.
That's a terrible Melania accent.
I have a bone.
Yeah, you're going to work on that one.
Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba.
Ah!
It was a dark weekend.
I mean, this fucking...
Jesus.
This ice got to go.
That's why we got to lock her down.
We got to get these fuckers out of these cities.
Clo
