Mike Mitchell, Nick Corirossi & Armen Weitzman Did Not Promote The Napa Boys (Ep 378)

Thank you, Oz.
I like having fun.
I like to laugh.
I like to get people looking at me.
We're laughing already over here on Office.
There is life!
Thank you.
There should have been time with it.
Ba-da-ba-da, ba-da-ba-da-da.
But it didn't happen, so now I'm depressed.
Hey, everybody.
Hey, folks.
Folks, work hard.
We're going to war with Iran.
Yeah, we are.
No, we wrapped it up.
We wrapped the war up earlier today, everybody.
We won in a lot of ways.
Very big, big time.
Hooray.
Ba-da-ba-da-ba-da-ba-da-ba-da.
Hey, everybody.
There it is.
Congratulations, everybody.
Another big win for Team USA.
We've got a big...
If you're living in New York City, Chicago,
San Francisco, or Los Angeles,
today at 1 o'clock p.m.,
there will be a ticker tape parade
where we welcome home our brave men and women.
And Mike Pence is going to be coming out
and saying a few words, actually.
Huge parades, ladies and gentlemen.
Hooray!
World peace established.
The front of the newspaper says V.I. Day.
Victory in Iran.
It's all going well.
Do they still make ticker tape?
It could be going a lot worse.
You think?
Say it again, Doug?
You think they still make ticker tape?
There's no need.
It's all digital.
Oh, yeah.
That's all from the stock market.
How are we going to have the parade?
They got confetti.
It's a euphemism.
What would they do?
They'd take the ticker tape and then cut it up and slice it?
I want to know about this ticker tape shit.
What's the difference between that and-
There's bits.
There's small lines of it.
Like, what can we throw out the window?
We got this ticker tape laying around.
Right.
I don't know.
What are you going to do?
Throw Bitcoin out?
I don't think so.
Crypto tape.
Anyways, we've got a great show today.
I want to get to so many things today.
Your calls, of course.
The weather today is going to be hot here in California.
It's looking-
Right now, it's cool out,
but apparently the temperatures are going to rise dramatically
throughout the day.
But we're happy with where it's at at the moment.
We're hoping to maintain that.
You're-
There it is.
Thank you.
But here with more is DJ Doug Pound.
Oh.
Well, I'd like to say good morning to you.
And VB4 behind me.
Vic, what do you got?
What's up, everybody?
But also, it is Scathers Day.
Happy Scat Thursday.
It's what?
It's Scat Thursday.
Happy Scat Thursday.
It's time for a Scat Attack.
Turn it up.
Thank you, everybody.
Thank you, everybody.
Thank you very much.
I didn't realize it was Scatter's Day.
Captain Carlin is here, and so many more.
Happy to have you here.
Good morning.
How did you let Vic get away with that?
I know.
It was a long one.
I was not expecting that.
I'm just running out the clock.
We have a friend of the show.
Here's two-time, second-time Comeback King.
The Comeback King.
Oh, my God.
Mike Mitchell is here.
I'm honored to be here.
Thank you for having me.
Congrats to the United States of America.
Yeah, I know you're a big fan.
Yeah, I'm a huge fan.
Yeah.
You know, we've had a good 300 or so year run, whatever it's been.
250.
250, that's right.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm hearing lots of weird shit, but that's a real diamond.
The day the news of the, we were doing a live show, and I was like, big news
today, and everyone was like, ooh.
And I didn't realize that the war with Iran had started.
It was about, I was talking about the Whopper is now in a box.
Yeah, the Whopper's now in a, now tell me a little bit more about that.
That's interesting.
The Whopper's now in a box?
The Whopper, they put it, it was in a wrapper, and now they've upgraded the
ingredients, and it's now in a box.
When's the last time you hit the Burger King?
I haven't hit Burger King in a while.
It's been a minute.
But the big news is there's a big arch at McDonald's.
We've been seeing stuff about this big arch.
Do you want to get into it right now?
I would love to get into it, yeah.
It seems like you're driving the conversation.
I'm not, no, no, no, I.
Well, okay, so the big, this seems like a long time coming that the Whopper's
going to come in a box.
Have you tried it box style?
I have not tried it box style.
Okay.
Isn't that more garbage though?
Doesn't that create more trash?
Isn't it like a lot thicker and harder to break down?
I agree with that.
I think the paper was probably the right choice.
It was fine.
I'm the man in the box.
Oh, my God.
That's what the Whopper's saying.
Oh, my God.
So the big arch is exciting for you?
I mean, as far as, you know, we've done the podcast for 10 years, so I don't
know if anything is exciting anymore.
It's exciting enough for us.
I tried it, yes.
What do you make it?
Well, how do you rate it?
It's not as good as the Big Mac, but it's pretty, it started a big CEO
controversy.
I don't know if you saw this.
Yeah, so we have probably video of that.
I don't know if we pulled it.
We didn't talk about this, but there's this McDonald's CEO.
Is he for real?
Is this guy the real, he is the CEO of McDonald's.
He is the CEO of McDonald's.
He takes a little tiny, he took a little tiny bite.
It caused a big controversy online.
Right.
He didn't take a big enough bite.
And there was another video I saw of him where it looks like he might be spitting
the food back into a napkin.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
That is, that's, oh, here he is.
This is.
It's a whole lot of bread.
Close up of his hand here.
So, you know.
So, first, holy cow.
God, that is a big product.
All right, moment of truth.
It's a delicious product.
I love this product.
You know what's cool about him?
He doesn't look like one of these guys that has any issues with, like, boys in
locker rooms.
It doesn't feel like there's going to be any of that stuff coming out.
Did you see the A&W CEO that all these other CEOs are doing here?
Wait, listen.
Oh, yeah.
Can I just say something?
We're playing right into their hands.
Yeah.
We're talking about their garbage companies.
Yeah.
And giving them free promotion.
I'm getting hungry thinking about it.
No, but the A&W burger was called the Teen Burger.
And it had teen sauce on it.
What?
Oh, my God.
This is true.
That's true.
What do you mean teen?
Nobody's addressing that.
It's the popular, it is the popular burger, is the Teen Burger is one of the
most popular
burgers in Canada.
Why is it teen?
Because there's, like, a mom burger.
I think there's, like, a dad burger.
And then there's a teen.
We need context.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's only a three-ounce burger.
That's not much, is it?
I mean, Jesus.
No, not a lot, no.
You know that comedian Mike Epps?
Yes, yeah.
Did you hear what he's up to now?
He's got this charity for, like, a Boys and Girls Club, Epps Teens.
Did you see this?
It seems like a bad idea.
It seems like a bad idea.
For the love.
I do.
I still believe that, honestly.
Epstein.
And he's got this list.
If you sign up, it's a mess.
Maybe there's meat from the Epstein Island in that burger.
I think we should leave CEOs alone.
Yeah.
Somebody brought this up because there was, like, all these CEOs.
You see them every day.
The Palantir guys jumping up and down.
All these people.
You never used to see, like, the CEO of Raytheon out there doing nutty stuff.
These people are supposed to be in the shadows.
Yes.
Right?
Yeah, we see way too many.
I mean, just in general.
I mean, Elon being the worst.
Yeah.
Remember Lee Iacocca?
I love Lee Iacocca.
He used to be out on the front cover of all the magazines.
My grandpa bought his book.
You're like, Grandpa, what are you getting out of that?
What are you going to?
What's going to substantively change for your life by reading Lee Iacocca's
book?
Was it a biography?
I think he also had Trump's book, too.
Yeah, biography.
Everybody had that heart of the deal.
Oh, yeah.
Was it, was it, was Lee Iacocca, was it, was it a, I couldn't, I bailed on
saying his
name because I got scared, but is it, was it a biography, like an autobiography?
Yeah, it was one of those, like, you know, Horatio Alger, like, coming from
nowhere, coming
from nothing, what's it called?
There's a few of them.
Iacocca.
Iacocca.
Where have all the leaders gone, talking straight?
Did he ever, and he never ran for public office?
Seems like that would be the next step.
He probably just controlled them from the shadows.
Like a normal CEO day.
Yeah, so let me just get into a couple of things we wanted to, because you're
just here
to hang.
Yeah.
We don't want to talk about, I know, you got a movie, it's in the theaters
right now?
I got a movie that's in the theaters right now.
Quickly?
Yes, yes.
Talk to me about it.
Oh, I thought you meant in the theaters quickly, which it is also, I think.
It probably will be quickly, yeah.
I think it is almost, I think it's gone, possibly, at this point.
But yeah, Napa Boys is in theaters.
Well, we can't talk about Napa Boys.
Oh, sorry.
Sorry.
Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
We can't talk, because we're not here to, we're here to, because your publicist
says you
want to talk about micro-budget.
Oh, wait, who's, my publicist?
Oh, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes.
Oh, I, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Micro-budget is, uh.
We're not talking about Napa Boys today.
Okay, all right, all right.
That's fair.
Sure.
I'm sorry to do that to you, but.
No, that's fine.
Yeah, that's fine.
Yeah.
I mean, I mean, you know, you said it, so we have to say, yes, there's another
movie
out there called Napa Boys that you're also in.
I was, yes, I'm in Napa Boys.
But you're here to talk about micro-budget.
Oh, okay.
Sure.
Yeah, no, micro-budget is great, too.
I did, I, uh, both of them are great films that you can't see maybe in theaters
right
now.
Right, right, right.
But, uh, there it is.
There's, there's micro-budget.
And can you get it on streaming?
Uh, you, uh, you can, you can get it, yes, you can get it on streaming.
What's your character's name in the movie?
Um.
I believe my character's name is, uh, I'm going to just guess Mitch for both
movies.
Uh, but, uh, yeah, this is, I believe this is on Tubi, right?
Tubi.
Oh, I love Tubi.
We love Tubi.
Tubi.
A very fun movie.
A very funny movie.
Chris Parnell is in there.
A lot of funny, uh, John Gabrus, a lot of funny people in there.
Right, a lot of funny people in the L.A. area and beyond.
And beyond, yes, yeah, yeah, yeah.
This is a nice little look at it.
So that's, well, people, is that Moshe?
Uh, no, no, no, that is not.
I can't see anything on the screen that they have in front of me.
That's okay.
So I can't talk, I can't talk, uh, all right, I won't talk.
I'd rather you're not talking about.
Oh, sure, yeah, that's fair.
Because that's not the conversation we had with, with the PR, with Matt, for
whatever reason.
It was booked via micro budget.
Right.
Got it, got it, got it, got it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
They want to talk about micro budget only.
That's fair.
Yeah, forget Matt's voice.
It's not fair for you to, if you're Indiana Jones, if you're Harrison Ford, you
come out and you're here to talk about Indiana Jones and you start talking
about, um, Star Wars.
Star Wars.
Well, Star Wars is a good example, or I was going to say the Mosquito Coast.
Right?
You come out and start talking about Running on Empty or, no, that's not.
Ali McPhil, his wife's show.
Yeah, The Witness.
Witness, Witness, oh, I'm here to talk about Witness.
Wait a minute, it says here you've got an Indiana Jones coming up.
No, I want to talk about Witness.
Matt likes my Harrison Ford impression.
I was thinking about it because I listened to him on Fresh Air a little bit
last night.
How's he doing?
I think we assume he's like some kind of great wise man because he's got that
voice.
Yeah.
But he's just a dumb actor.
Yeah, he might be dumb.
I, I, I mean, I love, I love him.
He, I, he does, he does great stuff.
I don't know, Mitch.
You know, like, oh, let's listen to what this wise sage has to say.
He's just a pothead.
I know, like, I know someone who drove him around during Cowboys and Aliens,
and he said
that he was drunk and was, like, 70 at the, you know, whatever, and he was,
like, climbing
his gate because he was locked out
