your hat okay wait I'm gonna go to me first so this has some kind let me know
are we good thank you so much wait something happen hey sorry it's a it's
very this is the the screaming Eagles it's very very crazy in Salt Lake City
I bought a football team with a few of my friends so I'll show you them and
they'll
explain to you exactly what's going on this is next level shit okay Tom hooks
interactive football go to us si.com slash interactive no IFL oh IFL and check
out
the screaming Eagles you get to call the plays the fans get to call the plays
it's franchise baby the next best thing the next greatest thing I'm gonna tell
you exactly how you can get the app but I'm not gonna do it instead Chad will
do
it go to your app store whether you're Google Android or Apple iPhone and in
the app store search franchise fan chise and that'll get you to the team you
call the
plays yeah and then you have to go to the screaming Eagles which is I don't
know how
to do it I'm not gonna lie to you this is total fan interaction the fans pick
the team name the team
song the plays as the game goes on the coach the coach you do it all the fan
calls the shots
let's take let's take the the Super Bowl right fourth quarter are you screaming
at
your TV this is what I would have done this is what I would have done this is
what I would have done right you would have did you think you would have done a
worse job than Atlanta did I don't think so so think of this as Madden with
human
beings you're playing chess with human beings Tom playing chess with human
beings
is kind of a concept but this is football this is where the fan
that's not just it's even more exciting than chess yes
true however if anyone is at all familiar with arena football maybe not but
are you familiar with ice hockey arena football takes place inside the ice
hockey dimensions so it's fast-paced there's no slow someone has is this the
hunger game it's like the hunger game is it with football but no one dies right
right okay screaming Eagles is a hockey team here someone says and you also you
have to search screaming Eagles on your app in the app store to go so he says
who is
this nerd with the Donald Trump hat on
Donald Trump that's a screaming that's a screaming Eagles hat but it might be
trouble
not to be confused I don't know what I'm more offended by yeah we're gonna make
football great again oh a guy just said make football great again he's right
with
me on that yeah all right he's there they screaming on terror listen man I want
to
ask question for you guys can somebody go on Sports Illustrated what's the link
SI dot com slash IFL find the screaming Eagles it's it it was set to start at
seven o'clock it's gonna start late because it's just a madhouse out here and I'm
gonna go on and I'm gonna tell you guys a little secret should I tell them now
I'll tell you a little closer to to
to game time because the commissioners here we're not supposed to do it but we're
going to so it's gonna be pretty that's the hashtag well if you want to do a
hashtag it's talons up t-a-l-o-n-s-u-p and of course I was a comedian then I
wrote
the the best comic novel ever and now I own a football team I mean life is good
oh here's Vivik Vivik now this is a it's a long story but into this whole
thing he's also an owner of the football team who might say how do you this is
periscope and they're all going to go I had no idea they're all gone to find
the
website and everything but yeah Vivik approached me in a an airport three years
ago we we had a lunch together and he's been at this for how long three years
yeah no you had the idea before almost seven years ago it all started yes seven
years ago him and his buddy how did it how did it originate
originate I guess it's a bunch of a bunch of sports nerds loving loving the
idea of
sports and wanting was there a seminal moment though where you were watching
something or no I just in general how many times you watch a football game and
you
think you can do better than what that yeah what's what's happening on the
field
whose idea oh so there's three different groups of people and each of them had
had
this idea three different times so grant and Joe we even met Joe huh he had
those
guys had this idea about seven years ago that's what it all started oh yeah
yeah
yeah and then Ray you met Ray you haven't met Ray yet yeah he had this idea
three
years ago and he actually built an app he built the app for the play oh yeah so
I we
haven't told these guys about the app but can guys go to the app store and get
it
right 100% you can go to google play or you can go to the app store right now
download it just tell them how to do it slower oh so you're gonna go to the app
store go to google play and just search screaming eagles it'll be the first one
that comes up go to google play go to the app store then go to google play yeah
you
bet yeah and screaming eagles is right at the top yeah you're right at the top
you can call place tonight yeah yeah you can call place tonight guys this isn't
this isn't
shit man you can go on Sports Illustrated you can watch the game you can call
the
players the way it works is you get so many plays you know you have a choice of
what to call you know it's like Madden and then the the vote goes and and and
so
the coaches have to do what you say have to do what you tell them how exactly
does
that work Vivek the the the time is so quick right yeah so you have I think it's
about eight seconds yeah we'll have the the fans to to to pick the plate we'll
be
the 30 vote goes to the coach coach then the exact to the quarterback that goes
instantly over to the coach and the coach tells the players how do you like
that huh
Wow. I'm going to read some... This is genius, a lot of people are saying. Yeah,
it is kind of genius, isn't it? Fake punch on the first down. This is what we
have to avoid that stuff. This is the stuff we have to avoid because we have to
win.
100%. We got to win. We got to win this game, guys. I want you to play smart.
There's a lot in it for, not you as much, but me, Vivek.
Hey, Norm, if you were addressing the team right now, if you were addressing
the team right now before their first game, as the owner of the team, what
would you say? I need to hear your best, Herb Brooks.
I want someone else here and I'll tape it. Okay, who wants to stand up? Is it
going to be you, Vivek?
No, not me. Okay, Tom. 9 out of 10. I think Tom would be the best. Go for it. 9
out of 10 times. Don't beat us.
Tom has the guy, man. Not tonight. Tom's got this. Call him plays. No, I don't
have time. Call him the plays.
No, come on, Tom. Seriously. This is your, this is the players. That camp, that,
okay, go.
They got to go for it, man. They got good owners. They got a sold out house
tonight.
Who are you talking to? The players. You guys, the house is full. This is your
house. We're calling them.
We're five minutes away. Vivek has just said it. Tell the folks. Don't keep
secrets.
It's almost go time, baby. Don't keep secrets. These guys are also, you know,
owners because they own the app.
100%. Download the app and come play with us tonight. All right. Five minutes,
right?
You betcha. 10 minutes. 10 minutes. 10 minutes to kick off. Get in, guys. Get
your app. It's free, right?
100% free. Absolutely. I mean, how can you lose? Have you always wanted to call
a football? Where? Oh, that's you. Okay.
Okay. Okay. Tell that team what? Nine out of 10 times they beat us. Not tonight.
Tonight is your night.
I want all you guys to go out there and give it your best in front of these
fans. They paid a lot of money.
We're going to wait and see what our fans say on the app. We're going to run
their plays like it was our
last play ever. Now let's go out there and win. Yeah. All right, man. We'll
check in on you a bit.
You get that app. You watch it because the next time I come back, it should be
about 10 minutes. It'll be
about kickoff. I want to hear you guys. All right. All right. No, I'm not
betting on my own team.
That's illegal and the commissioner's here. I'll be seeing you guys momentarily.
