Through The Gate | The Tim Dillon Show #369

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Tim Dillon Show. We are here. The long,
bloody war is over.
The conflict that we have watched, which has disgusted us, it has shaken us out
of our comfort
zone. We have seen horrific images, and it is finally over. The Screen Actors
Guild has finally
made a deal. SAG is back. The actors are working. It is the most heinous thing
I have seen in the
past six months. This strike has been horrible. We have seen images of people
on picket lines,
out-of-work actors, unemployed. We have seen Fran Drescher. All of these people,
people that we didn't even know existed still, actors from the 90s, people from
the early 2000s,
out of work, stumbling out of some hellhole in the valley they live in with a
picket sign,
standing in the 95 degree heat, begging the studios, care about me. I'm here
and I'm real.
I can do it. Put me in the game. Coach, put me in. I'm good. It's not fair. It's
unjust.
The cast of Boy Meets World, somehow from the depths of hell, they crawled out
of, from the pit of hell,
the cast of Boy Meets World. I don't know where they were, what they were doing,
probably from some
townhouse in Van Nuys or some nightmare split level. They have roommates. They're
in their 40s,
whatever. They were activated by the bat signal and they all showed up. They
all showed up begging and
demanding dignity. The actor said, we want dignity. We don't want to be
replaced. Remember Charlottesville,
Jews will not replace us. They remember that the people during the Charlottesville
protests were
running around going, Jews will not replace us, which a lot of people quite
understandably were not
thrilled with that behavior. Now, because antisemitism's up, you know, people
are perhaps
warming to it, but I'm not, which I'm not, it's not good, but I will say that,
um, this was a fight
against, you know, who are the real Jews? AI. AI are the real Jews. Now we're
learning this.
We're learning this. I learn it first and then I communicate it to you. This is
what I have
learned. Everybody's afraid of the Jews and China, but AI is everything. It's
the Jews and China
because both the Chinese and the Jews are defeatable. You can defeat them in
certain ways. Uh, for
example, uh, Jewish people are prone to certain cancers, melanoma. They're very
pale. They put a
sunscreen on the kids at the beach clubs and they put it in globs. I never
understood that. Rub it in.
Um, and the Chinese, for example, you know, there's all kinds of ways, uh, that
you could kind of,
you know, they, they, as a people are very tough and machine-like, uh, to beat
their time. It's not
easy to beat the Chinese. They are that society is, but there are ways to get
in. We're fattening them
up. We got American fast food over there. We have the first generation of fat
Asians. We can fight
AI. You cannot fight. So whatever paranoia that you have about whatever race,
whatever race you are
paranoid about that is dominating you. And it's not the Irish. I wish it was,
but nobody ever says,
God damn it. One day the Irish are going to run us all. That's never said. I'm
not saying it's right
to have paranoid fantasies about, uh, the Jews controlling everything or the
Chinese or whatever,
whoever you're scared of out there. But AI is the thing that actually is going
to
replace you. So AI is the Jews. Everything you think the Jews are doing, AI is
actually doing.
And Fran Drescher knows this. She knows this because she's been told this. Fran
Drescher,
what's great about her is she doesn't really know what's happening on a day to
day. She doesn't
really know. Someone tells her, like, remember in the beginning, she's like, oh,
I think it's good.
It's fine. She didn't want to strike. Um, but people got in her ear and said,
it's your moment.
Like Zelinsky, they said, don't negotiate. It's a war. Really? Yes. You're
going to be historic because
Fran Drescher did one thing. She played the nanny, uh, for, I don't know, five
years, however that,
and after that, I don't believe she did anything else. Uh, the other president
of SAG, one of the only
other ones I knew about was a girl who played, uh, Andrea on 90210. The
president of SAG is never the
person that's killing it. Tom Cruise doesn't have time to be the president of
SAG. No offense. I love
SAG and I'm in SAG. None of this is negative about SAG, even though it, if you
read the text, it is.
What I'm saying is that the president, when you get political, it's not because
things are going well.
If you're young and hot, Olivia Rodrigo is not trying to be the president of
the, you know,
the people that have stuff going on. So they come to people like Fran Drescher
and they go,
it's your moment. And I think it is, by the way, I'm all for this. And they say,
it's the time.
So all these studios, my friends, David Zaslav, Big Daddy Zas, Donna Langley, D-Money,
uh, Ted Sarandos at Netflix, Teddy the Greek. And the fourth one, who's the
fourth motherfucker?
There's, there's D-Money, Donna Langley. There's Teddy the Greek. There's Big
Daddy Zas. And then
there's the fourth one. Who is it? Who are the AMPTP? Who makes it up? Who is
the fourth one?
I said, Putin, who's the fourth? I don't know, but it's, it's Iger, Bob Iger.
It's Bobby Iger,
Iger the Tiger, Bob Iger, who they brought in. He, they brought him back into
Disney to kind of calm
the non-binary thing down because they went nuts. Was J-Pak going nuts with
that, right? Everybody was
like, come see the raindrop. I'm not a gender. I'm a raindrop. And all the kids
were like,
I'm a raindrop too. And somebody's like, let's get Iger back in. Eye on the
ball,
please. So they went a little nuts at Disney with the non-binary stuff. They
had to calm
it down, uh, which I get it. It's easy to make genderless, uh, stuff. It's just
easy. It's
easy. It's like, let's, we, though we can, we can animate anything. I'm a grain
of sand
without a gender. Uh, um, so Bob Iger and all these people, they, they were
gonna, they
were gonna do an attack, you know, uh, uh, uh, uh, an attack. Meaning they,
they, they,
they gave their best and final over to SAG right before the holidays. And what
they were
going to do, they wanted to do a PSYOP. It's called psychological warfare. Now
what that
means is if SAG did not say yes, then the entire holiday season was going to be
very depressing
for people in the entertainment business, the actors, even the writers who
strike ended a
month ago, but you know, aren't going to see any projects made because the
actors are not
working. So the AMPTP, the big executives were like, we're going to do
psychological work,
which by the way, I advise them to do. I told them to do this when they asked
me, I said,
you have to do psychological warfare to break them down. I said this and, and
that I'm not,
I'm not trying to hurt anyone, but they asked me where the Beverly Hills at the
time. They go,
we want to break these people down mentally. How can we do it? I said, I have a
few ideas. And one
of them was right before the holidays say, fuck off. And everyone sits at their
table and they're
like, I don't know anymore. You know, it's just sad. Now they put the offer out
and SAG said,
no, uh, uh, uh, uh, Fran Drescher came out and said, no, fuck you. Fuck you. We
will not,
AI will not replace us. AI will not replace. Cause what the streamers and the
movie studios,
what they wanted to do is just basically use the likeness of an actor over and
over and over again
and not pay them. They wanted to put dead actors back in movies. They wanted to
just say,
fuck it. And they want it to be like, we've got 20 actors. Now they're going to
be the actors
forever. You're going to see Tom Hanks in everything. He will be in everything.
There's not going to be
any new actors. That's kind of what they were going with. They were kind of
going with this idea that
like we're in the last throws of the business as it is before it completely
becomes a tech business
because everything that can be digitized will as that, uh, lesbian, Kara Swisher
said, who's blocked
me with no interactions, blocked me on Twitter, the woman, what's wrong with
her? I don't know.
Um, but my point is what I'm saying is that this business knows where it is.
These guys are smarter
than us. They know where it's going. They know they cannot get teenagers in the
movie theaters.
They don't know what to do. These kids are playing video games. Uh, they don't
give a shit, right?
They're watching Tik TOK. Nobody cares about these long form form films anymore.
Um, they see that
they know that they're going, how, how are we going to deal with this adjusting,
shifting landscape?
Let's get rid of the actors because the actors are a problem. They want money.
They rape, get rid of
them. Zero sexual assault, zero money, get rid of the actors. And they try to
get rid of the writers.
You go, well, Hey, I'll just write the thing and then we'll put people in it
that, uh, are dead or are
not dead, but we'll use their likeness once. We'll get rid of the actors. We'll
get rid of the writers
and let's get the profit back in here because that's what they want. They know
all these movie theaters
are closing down. They know they're fighting a losing battle. There's nothing
you can do. The glory
days of cinema are dead. They are dead. And I'm not, you know, but excluding
the thing I have in
development and the two things I'm in that those are fine. But in a larger
point, the glory days of
the movie business, the money isn't there anymore. It's not there. The big guys
know that.
So what they're trying to do is cut costs in any way that they can to prepare
themselves
for the eventuality of a major seismic change in this business. And it's not
nice and nobody likes it.
However, they are putting the ball before the, uh, whatever, the cart before
the horse,
because at this moment right now, AI is not good enough to come in and replace
everybody yet.
So they have to play a little ball. They made a three-year contract, only three
years.
I think I'm right on that. It's a three-year contract with the screen actors
killed. And they
adjusted the AI language so that actors could go back to work because the
sticking point was AI.
And the studio said, it looks really bad to hang everybody out to dry over the
holiday season.
We are going to get up some of this deal. Let's see the deal they made.
So here's some of the deal points in the actual deal that they made.
For the next 12 months, for the next year, no, there will be no Filipinos in
any film.
Now, this is just to give us a time to get adjusted because we didn't really
know a ton about Filipinos and now they're everywhere.
And there's nothing wrong with that. We're just trying to figure out what it
even is.
It's a beautiful culture, but it's everywhere. And we're just, it's just let,
it's let us in slowly here.
Is it Mexican? Is it Asian? What is it? Where is it? Where is it going?
We just want to be led in slowly.
So, uh, uh, no Filipinos. Okay. Uh, for 12 months, just again, to slowly kind
of put it in, which again, initially when I read it, I thought that was a
little crazy.
You know what I mean? But okay. No woman over 350 pounds will be referred to as
hot, which I think is nice.
So that there's no woman over 350 pounds that will be referred to as hot for
three years in a film, which I think is helpful
because that was one of the bigger problems that we were having, you know? Um,
this is an interesting one.
I find this very interesting. Nobody in a film for the next 36 months will be
allowed to be both black and Jewish at the same time.
It's confusing. These are the deal points that they came up. And I thought this
was more about the pay structure, but apparently I like this.
It's more kind of cultural things that are happening that I find very important.
So there's going to like Tiffany Haddish. When they say Tiffany Haddish, that
scares people.
They don't know what's happening, which way it's going. So that's not allowed
under the new rules.
This is
