Limmy, Andrew Callaghan (All Gas No Brakes) and Baauer on Office Hours Live (Ep 115 6/16/2020)

Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
That's the way to do it, right there.
Good morning.
Good morning, everybody.
Jim Heidecker here.
Come on.
He's so close.
Glendale.
Glendale.
Give me something hot.
Give me something with energy.
Come on.
That's fucking hilarious.
Can you hear me now?
Am I live?
Can you hear me live?
I love the sound of my music.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I love the sound of my voice.
Can you hear me?
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Bro, you do not laugh, man.
Where are you guys from?
That's bullshit.
That's bullshit.
Fuck this guy.
I got lost in that one.
I like it.
That shit was cool.
Hold on now.
Now, hold on.
I love it.
No, no, no, no.
I love it.
I'm singing tonight.
Hey, mm-hmm, yeah.
I love to sing tonight.
I'm going to try and share some music with you.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I love to sing at night.
Hey, everybody.
What are we fucking doing here?
I'm lost.
I can't get this in my ear.
Baby to baby.
Oh, baby.
Join the movement.
Join the experience.
Welcome to the show.
It's Tim Heidecker here.
I'm live.
I'm engaged.
I'm engaged.
I'm engaged.
I'm engaged with the audience.
Listen to your Zoom call.
Let's have some fun.
Let's dance.
All right.
You're my hero.
I saw Paul McCartney when I was 11 at veteran's stadium.
Oh, Queens.
Let's go.
Good morning, gentlemen.
Oh, shit.
Let me turn that off.
Good morning, everybody.
They've come up with the AIDS vaccine.
Good morning.
Good morning.
Good morning.
Something beautiful.
Something beautiful that happens every morning now when we do an office hours
is we get here
about an hour ahead of time to work on the show and to get things ready.
And Doug and Vic put their headphones on and get to work.
And they start, you can just, they're like two little school children back
there giggling, giggling as they're putting their latest drops in order and
organizing.
And they're, I'm not hearing it because I'm not, my, my headphones aren't on
and I just see them.
I go, uh-oh, I'm going to get whacked with some shit today.
That's fucking hilarious.
Anyways, welcome to the show.
It is Wednesday.
It's an unusual experience to be doing the show on a Wednesday.
We usually do it on a Thursday, frankly.
And sometimes we do it on a Friday, actually.
Um, we have a great show for you planned.
We have, uh, um, okay.
Did I say much more?
We have my, your Zooms and we have, um, man by name of Bauer.
Go what?
Bauer is calling in.
We talked about Bauer last, last week.
Oh, what?
We call it, uh, hashtag Bauer confusion.
And that stands, I think that should be a new, uh, phrase when we talk about
when you're entering into a text thread and you're not getting, you don't have
all the information.
That is called Bauer confusion.
Hashtag happy, hashtag Garth, hashtag Mr. Yearwood.
Okay.
So if you want to talk about that now, we can talk about that now.
I am obsessed with Mr. Garth Brooks.
Uh, there is.
Let's go have some fun.
And let's get physical playing music.
I like that thought.
There's, there's, there's, there's, there's, uh, uh, oh.
Oh boy.
I, I was a ghost in my own home over the weekend.
I was not, uh, present because I was wading through a four hour Garth Brooks
documentary on Netflix called The Road I'm On or something like that.
And it was, first of all, it was very interesting to watch something on Netflix.
That was, um, it was made for the biog, for A&E or for like the, for, you know,
remember the biography show?
Yeah.
Shut up.
Shut up.
That's enough.
We know where Garth still lives.
My dream.
So it actually has these like built in commercial breaks.
Like they're, they're not commercials, but things like dip to black.
Right.
But it's fascinating.
First of all, I love any documentary about music.
I can watch a documentary about anybody who's had a successful career,
especially people that I don't know, because it's all kind of like, I didn't, I
never really paid attention to Garth Brooks.
I never cared for his music and I still don't.
Hey guys, it's Jeremy Renner.
No, no disrespect.
No disrespect.
I just don't care for it.
I love country music in general, but his music never, never worked for me.
But anyways, he's a, he was a massive star, but this documentary is, it's on
Netflix.
It's unbelievable.
He is in tears the whole time.
And I don't have an issue with men getting chunged up.
I think it's kind of beautiful.
And I love seeing guys, I love seeing guys get in touch with their emotions.
I really do.
And I think we should be, I should cry more.
I, I should cry over a lot.
I should cry a lot about a lot of things.
I don't, I'm very, you know, I'm German.
I'm, I'm stoic.
And I don't have access to that.
I don't cry a lot.
But when I do, I do.
But this Garth Brooks is on the verge of tear.
He's tearing up.
He's on, he's, he's tear, he's full crying or, or on the verge of crying the
whole time.
And he's talking directly in the camera a lot of the time.
And he's talking about shit that you shouldn't cry over.
I'm talking about like the time he met his business manager.
He was standing over there.
I walked up to him and he's nuts.
You could see he's like, he's like cuckoo.
He's like real intense.
And he's sitting there.
He's like sitting on a chair, like a backwards chair, you know, with his arms
up on the back
of the chair.
I went up to him.
I said, this is your opportunity.
This is your chance to make a difference.
And it's like that the whole time.
But, you know, he's talking about his mother and he's crying.
I get that.
But boy, he's just like, it's really fascinating watch.
I love this.
Thank you for my life.
God bless you guys.
And Vic, you've been onto this for a while.
You've been tuned in to this.
I've been pretty obsessed with him.
Yeah, like he made that famous sort of, I'm joining Facebook and this is a
chance for
me to connect directly with you.
That is like a beautiful art piece, like an accidental art piece.
Like it's unreal.
What is it?
Like, like, it's like his manager said, all right, the show's over.
Just go back in the hotel room, talk to this camera and we'll put it up online.
You know, we'll just talk to your fans.
And he dims the lights real low and it's just him, him talking on a like hotel
bed.
You don't have, you don't have it.
I can pull it out.
Okay, pull it out.
But it's a sort of a famous internet thing.
Anyways.
We've got to bring Chris Gaines back.
Does the doc get into the games?
The other thing is great and is like Billy Joel is in it and he's, he's on the
verge
of tears.
He's all teared up and like everyone's like, well, I guess it's official.
We're now on Facebook.
There you go.
I really wasn't sure about this at the start, but then a friend of mine said
something that
just made all kinds of sense.
She said, think of it more as a conversation.
I like that, but I'm already finding out on my own.
So it's wiping the walls out between you and me.
And I really like that.
It allows us into each other's worlds or I guess in my case, hotel room.
When I think about things I want to post, I want to post cool stuff, slick
stuff, neat
stuff.
But most of the stuff I'm going to post is going to be raw stuff like this.
Fucking anal sex with his wife.
So this is truly a conversation.
You know he has no pants on.
And I say, let the conversation begin.
So good.
So sincere and God bless sincerity.
I mean, listen, I just feel bad sometimes because that's just like everything.
That's what it is.
He's just being like trying to be a good guy.
He just like each and every one of you out for all you've done to your bodies.
All right.
Anyways, that's my recommendation.
I think it's it's funny.
It's interesting.
They can't find the other interesting thing is they can't find any country
singers to talk
about him.
It's Billy Joel and James Taylor that they have sitting down to be interviewed
about.
Clinton Black wasn't available.
Not really quite country.
Vince Gill wasn't around.
Travis Tritt.
Travis Tritt wasn't around.
Maybe his contemporaries don't like him.
Do they interview his wife?
Yes.
Mrs. Yearwood.
He's Mr. Yearwood.
And she's pretty interesting.
It's an interesting story.
My dream is for us to love one another.
He does all these things where he's like he makes these profound statements,
but they're
shit like he could have gone down to the Hallmark store and looked through the
cards for
about 20 minutes.
You know, he looks at he's like, there's this thing.
My daddy used to say, and now I've been saying it.
He said, with every blessing, there's a curse.
With every curse, there's a blessing.
And you're like, whoa, man.
Blew my mind.
God bless him.
Yeah.
If he ever did go into the card store, he'd just be bawling.
He'd have to buy all the cards because he'd get them all soaking up.
He'd have to buy all the cards, man.
Do you see what they say?
He said, stop and smell the roses.
That's what he reads at-
Holy shit.
Stop and smell the roses.
Oh, man.
Tim, that's what he reads at night when he's reading a book.
He just has a stack of Hallmark cards.
Just goes through one by one.
Box of tissues.
Crying.
Hey, Matt, I want to connect with my audience.
I want to be, I want to have a one-on-one relationship with the good people
that listen to the show.
Is there anybody out there that wants to communicate with me and be real for
once?
I know Orvis is out there.
I know Orvis is out there eating a salad.
I want to connect with Orvis.
I'm very excited to share some music with you.
Orvis, what is going on in your neck of the woods, man?
What is happening, Orvis?
What's that?
I'm sorry.
I just proposed to my partner.
What is it?
How'd that go?
Well, he said, we're a business.
We don't, we're not in love.
That's a pile of bullshit.
Get this guy in a fucking...
This has got to stop.
Throw him in the quarry, you know what I mean?
I'm going to go apoplectic.
Unbelievable with him.
Jeff S. in Hamilton.
Wow.
Hey, Tim, how's it going?
Good, man.
How are you?
Mark calling Orson.
Good.
Mark calling Orson.
You mean Orson.
Fucking Mork, man.
We sat there and...
Mark calling Orson.
We sat as a country, as a nation, we sat around the virtual fireplace and we
listened to Robin
Williams pretend to be an alien from Mork.
Remember when they had that son?
They had Mirth.
They had Mirth.
His son was Mirth?
Mirth.
Mirth.
Yeah, it was Jonathan Winters and it was like a Benjamin Button's routine.
I thought that was Orson.
No, Orson was fucking Mork's boss.
Oh, right.
His son was old.
Like, everything was opposite.
He sits upside down.
Yeah.
Right.
Where was Mork?
Where was Mork from?
Mork.
Mork.
Mork.
No, it was Mork.
Mork.
Mork.
That's where all those bad guys from the Lord of the Rings are from.
Right?
The Orcs.
The Orcs.
But Mork is from Orc and he reports to Orson.
He's in love with Mindy.
I wanted to do a...
I wrote...
I don't know where I wrote this.
I wrote it for something.
It was a pretend pitch for an ABC show called...
I think it was called After Mindy or something.
Mork after...
No, it was Mork after Mindy.
It was like checking...
Mindy had died of cancer or something.
She had passed away.
And it was Mork.
It's real like...
You know, like a...
It was an opportunity for...
Do you believe in love of Mindy?
Good morning.
It was like maybe right after Dead Poets Society.
And people said, you know, Robin is a really talented, dramatic actor.
I think there's something...
What if we took the Mork and Mindy universe and made it a little more sincere
and serious
and we do Mork...
And we don't want to deal with Pam Dauver.
We don't need to bring Pam back.
Because she's going to ask for a ton of money.
But we could do...
Mork calling Orson.
We could do Mork after Mindy.
Hello, Mind.
Mind, I miss you.
It's been 20...
It's been two years since you've gone.
Get out of your report, Mork.
Oh, yes, sir.
This week, sir, I learned what it's like to be...
Mork calling Orson.
Mork calling Orson.
What is it?
What is it, Mork?
What is it, Mork?
I just...
I don't know if I can go on.
I don't know if I can go on, Orson.
I miss Mindy so much.
I
