Game night, it's gonna be fun playing games all through the night.
So in 1993, Simon and Garfunkel playing in somewhere in California.
I think it might be Northern California.
Now, it's a fine performance, of course.
These guys are pros.
Well, that's Paul Simon's drummer, Steve Gantt.
Now, there's gonna be a special guest coming out to solo, which in a song which
for me does
not need a solo.
You just kind of want to get through this one.
And Paul now gives him the clue like, "Now is your time to come on out."
Eddie Van Halen.
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"I'm so happy to be here."
"Alright, so I love that."
"I mean, obviously there's some sound issues going on there."
"I think, like, Art Garfunkel must be so angry right now in this video."
"At this moment."
"He's seething."
"He's red with anger."
"Because this motherfucker came out and shat all over my song here."
"There's so much anger between them."
"So much spite."
"And he fucked us."
"This shitty idea of this metal, heavy metal guy coming up."
"And look at, you see he touches the mic, he goes, nothing, this is not working."
"Silence like a cancer grows."
"Oh, Eddie's still trying to find it."
"Do-do-do-do-do-boom."
"What was he thinking with that tone?"
"I think that's a problem."
"I mean, it was probably like a big sound monitors issue or something."
"But there's something beautiful that happens at the end of this."
"Art clearly wants to get the fuck out of here."
"I mean, he's like, I'm not going to be speaking to Paul for another six years
after this."
"I'm going to get my cat, I'm going to get my coat."
"I can't hear you over this mix at all."
"You can?"
"Tim."
"I like how it sort of drags now, too."
"It feels like it sucked all the life out of the song."
"Now watch this: Art gets his coat, he gets his jacket."
"I don't know why you have your jacket on stage like this for a full concert."
"Where's the jacket?"
"Give me my jacket, there's my jacket."
"Okay, I'm going."
"Goodbye."
"That sucked."
"Anyways."
"Is this guitar plugged into an amp or like direct line?"
"It sounds like a DI box."
"Like direct into the board."
"Alright, thank you."
