Welcome back.
Say, hey, bang.
Hey, Tim.
Put your hands together.
Thanks, Tim.
Come back.
Come back.
Come back.
Come back.
I'm back, I'm back.
Ooh, yeah.
I need more of my, I need more beat.
Come on, push the beat up on my cock.
Back, I'm back, I'm really, really back.
Back, I'm back, I'm really, really back.
Oh!
That's right, ladies and gentlemen, you are not hallucinating.
It's been a couple weeks.
I'm back on the track.
I'm back on the track.
Back stack.
I'm back stack.
Gonna stack the deck.
Gonna stack the deck.
Woo!
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Shut up!
Quiet!
Boop!
Yeah!
Stomp the deck!
Stomp the deck!
Pop the what?
Got the what?
Oh, let it rain!
Let it rain, yeah!
Howdy like me now!
Howdy like me now!
Howdy like me now!
Hold the door!
Hold the door!
Good morning, everybody.
Thank you for joining me today.
Oh, I don't know why I love you.
I don't know why I can't!
I can't find!
What is it?
Tiny Tim.
I wonder, wonder why!
That's Tiny Tim, man.
We should do Tiny Tim a full episode.
I wonder, wonder why!
Full episode, Tiny Tim style.
What is it?
You should do a full episode of this show, Tiny Tim style.
Thank you, Mr. Lusenhop.
Oh, it is tremendous to be here.
I'm so nervous.
I hope you have, I hope you are interested in what I have to say.
Is that it?
I don't know.
I always use preparation H.
Okay.
Oh, listen, everybody.
Welcome to Office Hours.
I'm Tim Heidecker.
I'm joined by, over my right shoulder here, or your left shoulder to me, if you're
watching
me right now, it's over, it looks like it's my, your left, it looks like it's
my left shoulder,
is Doug Lusenhop, DJ Doug Pound in the house.
Maybe you need medication.
And Vic Berger.
Thank you, Vic.
Great to have you back.
Oh, no.
Thanks to Neil Hamburger for holding the fort down for the past couple of weeks.
Let's give him a round of applause.
We appreciate all that he does.
And thanks to John Glazer for doing Office Hours East last week.
That was fun.
And Todd Berry, Megan Keister, and everybody else, and Matt, and Wes.
All right, let's wrap things up.
I don't think I have anything more to add.
King Buzzo.
King Buzzo.
King Buzzo from the Melvins.
And Trevor Dunn.
Trevor from Mr. Bungle.
Trey from Mr. Bungle.
Trey from Mr. Bungle.
And Trevor.
Trey and Trevor.
Trevor Dunn, yes.
Great.
I'm in control of this beat, ladies and gentlemen.
If you hear this coming in, that's me right now.
This is what I control.
Tim, I think you should make a dance record, a rave record, just to see what
that would
sound like, because it would be better than any other.
Oh, really?
Just because it would be like, you're coming at it from this place that you
kind of hate
that stuff.
Yeah.
I want to know what that would sound like.
It was fun hanging out with a new...
I'm going to talk about my trip, believe me, through the whole show.
Many people want to know.
It was fun to hang with a new crew?
It was really nice to hang with a new crew.
I had new...
I got to show off all these tricks I have.
Recycle the old material.
Yeah.
A little bit of that.
A little bit of like...
You know, I actually made this record about drinking piss called the Yellow
River Boys.
They're like, what?
Oh, you got to hear it.
You got to hear it.
We put it on.
They're like, this is the great...
This is hilarious.
The hell?
Sitting around one night.
And we...
I don't know how it came up.
They're like, I did this thing.
It was this trial.
This trial.
They're like, what?
Let me...
What?
I'll show you.
Boom.
Showed it up on YouTube.
Boom.
They're like, holy shit.
And I'm doing bits.
Did any of the other people have anything cool to share about their life?
Nah.
Nah, they don't do much, right?
No shit records or anything.
Well, no.
They don't do piss records?
No, they were more...
They're just more like, not as pathetic as me.
You know?
They're like...
I'm not going to show them scenes from movies I've been in and stuff.
You know?
Was everyone trying to one-up each other?
Never.
Never.
Was it like, all dolled up?
No.
It was a beautiful experience in general.
Everybody was so great.
It was just like, you know...
We kind of got deep.
It was very weird.
Who are you talking about here?
Name some names.
Drop names, Tim.
Aubrey Plaza, Alison Brie, Zach Woods, Debbie Ryan,
Aiden Minari, Jeff Baina, the director, Jeff Bezos.
That'd be cool if you should get...
Lauren Weidman, who was in the movie as well.
Fred Armisen.
And you know how I love Fred.
And somebody made...
You know, this guy, Zach, who was in the movie.
He's real perceptive.
He's real perceptive and very generous with his heart and his emotions.
But also very interested in what makes people tick, you know?
And he says, you know, Tim, jokes are your love language, he said to me.
He's like, you light up when Fred's around or when I'm texting with Greg or
Mark or anything.
He's like, you...
This is when you...
This is when I see your heart come out, your soul come out, is jokes.
And it's true.
That's a good perception.
That's my love language too.
But I took a love language test.
Jokes were not on there.
Well, it's a bad test.
They got to update that test.
Let's take a Zoomer because I just want to say hi to everybody.
Zoom, Zoom.
And apologies if we're rusty.
If I'm rusty today, I got to get back in the swing of doing this show.
If ever I feel, like, unmoored, I think you're going to get this.
Okay.
Okay.
It's a way for me to reset.
Okay.
But, Matt, who can we talk to that you think would inspire me to...
Well, we got someone with a funny name, Slice Gotta Hurt, which is always a
gamble, but we'll see.
Hello.
Hello.
This is Slice.
Slice Gotta Hurt.
Slice.
That's from the show from last week.
Yeah, it's a reference.
When they have a reference, sometimes they rely on a reference.
It's Gotta Hurt from the Office Hours East program.
The tip exposed.
I like to show my tip.
Got to shout out to Slice.
We love Slice.
Got to go.
Got to wake up for Slice.
Can we get more Slice?
I want to take credit, Matt, confirm this.
I believe Slice was my pitch.
I don't think so.
You don't think so?
I mean, it has to be yours.
I think it was a glazer.
The brilliant mind.
I think it was a glazer.
I think I said you'd have a sidekick.
It'd be like a slice of pizza.
Slice of pizza.
But what's brilliant about it is having Joe do the voice totally counterintuitive
to what
you think Slice might sound like.
It was a home run.
I got a question for the Zoomer.
Are you an air traffic controller?
Are you working from home?
I am working from home.
I'm working for the CDC.
Really?
Are you doing drops, too?
Are you?
Yes, I got drops.
I thought so.
I looked over at you, and you weren't touching your thing.
I want a supercut.
I want a supercut.
Wireless mouse.
Look at that.
Excuse me.
Listen.
Go ahead, sir.
Let's make this easy.
I am listening.
When I'm talking, everybody shut up.
That's all everyone has to do.
When you see these lips going, all you got to do is close them up.
That's the easiest thing anyone can do is shut their mouth.
Why is it so hard?
I don't know.
Oh, brother.
This guy stinks.
I'm talking about your buttons there, too, by the way.
I'm not doing nothing.
That was not me.
What I want to do is get a supercut of everybody's goddamn ceiling fans.
Everybody's got ceiling.
They're pointing their cameras straight up at the ceiling fans.
Oh, would you want me to park your car?
Tim, you know what I got at my house?
Wait, who was that?
Was that Slice Cutter?
That was Nathan Fielder from the hit show.
All right.
Stop playing shit.
I got a floor fan at my house.
Stepping over to get to the kitchen.
It makes life a little more exciting.
Woo.
Nice when the ladies come over.
They step over.
Their skirt goes up.
I had a few cats.
They didn't work out.
They got chopped up.
All right.
All right.
No laugh there.
Did you have something to say except to show off your drops?
Tim, no.
I just got to say, Vic, I've been listening to your...
BJ, want to DJ your sleep one that you did?
Oh, good, good, good.
I have listened to that at least 100 times going to sleep.
It's so good.
Wait a minute.
So good.
Amazing.
That don't compute.
Are you sleeping multiple times a night?
I got to sleep.
I mean, you've released it like weeks ago.
So, you know, it's been at least 100 days for me to sleep to it.
Come on.
Come on.
I can sleep into it.
You're in a constant state of sleep.
I am sleeping right now.
I don't even know it.
I'm sleeping.
And here we go.
We're talking about sleeping.
Is it giving you some good visions?
What are you dreaming about?
I fall asleep like 10 minutes into it, but whenever...
I have constant dreams of being chased and being my house being invaded.
Listen, can I just say something, Slice?
I'm gone three weeks and...
I miss your face too, but I see your face all the time.
I'm so excited to come back and get back to doing this show.
And first, right off the bat, I'm talking about your dreams and you sleeping.
What a bummer, man.
Maybe I don't want to do this anymore when I get this kind of shit.
This is a gift I'm giving.
I don't...
You know what I mean?
We got John Blazer and Slice.
Wow.
I mean, you can come back for a game.
I've got to reevaluate this shit, man.
I guess.
You know?
If this is what you're coming with, then I've got to say, what am I doing to my
life?
I've got a short period of time on this planet here.
And you're the big Bambino now.
I'm getting the big Bambino.
I can't be sitting here talking to you about your sleep and your dreams.
Can we talk about your dreams, Tim?
What do you dream about?
I don't dream.
Are you kidding?
Dreaming about marinara?
Believe me.
I hate dreaming.
I don't have time for dreams.
I don't want to dream.
I don't have time for dreams.
My body is so in tune with what it needs.
It goes, we cannot waste energy on dreams.
We have to completely shut down.
Full rest.
It's cortex.
I'll tell you, I didn't sleep much in Italy, though, man.
I was up all night, getting up early, getting out there, living.
Sleep's for chance, man.
I'm doing four hours of night.
Have you ever had a dream sleep?
The great rapper, Kendrick Lamar, once said, sleep is the cousin of death.
I kind of agree with him.
I'll sleep when I'm dead.
That's what Warren Zevon has to say about it.
All right.
Listen, Slice.
Slice got to hurt.
God bless you.
Watch your fingers on those ceiling fans.
Don't show too much.
I'm just kidding with you.
I'm just warming up.
Listen, we don't have much to offer today.
We don't.
We have no Dionne Warwick today, if you know what I mean.
We just got some low-quality guests.
But the point is, the point is, I'm back, and we're going to talk about my life
and who
I am now and how changed I, because you can tell I've changed.
I've gone through a radical metamorphosis.
I'm a better person.
Maybe you didn't sleep much because all that pasta was keeping you up all night.
Well, here's the thing.
Now, here's the thing.
I ate like a pig.
I didn't eat like a pig, but I ate big pastas and fish and wine and tiramisu.
Tiramisu's up my ass.
Gelatos.
I never once felt like sick.
I never once felt like, oh, no, I'm going to throw up.
I never had diarrhea.
I never had, I was not even that gassy.
So, people always say, well, it's the quality of the food, and it's, they have
a whole other
process there.
I think it's true, because I was shoveling food in my mouth every night and
then sleeping
like a baby.
Makes sense of that.
All right?
Nothing to say?
I'm just looking up barf sound effects.
You're busy, though, running around and everything.
You couldn't just sit around.
I think you're probably the buzz, the buzz of the excitement of being in Italy
