this is such a corny thing like the seven habits of successful people but what
are the what are the
the things that that you use to achieve success in your life i'm glad you asked
um and we've
talked about you know you and i have talked about this uh off the podcast but
um this through a lot
of my studies right a pattern uh emerged you know i did a study of um you know
some of the most
successful thinkers and sort of creative minds throughout history alexander the
great um cleopatra
you know names we all you know we know these names shakespeare and um you know
a pattern starting to
emerge right and there's a lot of new research in sleep science now what does
that say all of these
people got sleep every night and in their sleep we found that they were having
um essentially dreams
wow um and now what is dreaming right define dream um you know i think it's a
uh imaginative uh
uh journey that your sleeping mind goes on which filters and processes human
experience your own
human experience um besides that i don't know i don't know but you're right you're
right no that's
exactly right um and essentially what i found is that you need uh to have those
two in balance right
what's called the waking uh hours and the sleeping hours wow um and it's
important essentially all of these
great thinkers have you know and i'm this is an oversimplification obviously
but if you you know
if you're interested you can link to uh more of the research but essentially
what it boils down to is
if you go to sleep at night it's much better for the brain and you allow the
brain to have more abstract
thoughts right you know a big uh whether it's dragons or whatever you're
dreaming about right it could be
uh could be going taking a dip in the pool you know it's and the other images
that you uh grab
essentially your brain is digesting from day to day life and when you're asleep
your brain is creating
new experiences um during the day of course you're having you're limited right
you're having what are
called uh limited experiences right you it's you're interacting with the world
around you they're set in
stone and then when you're asleep you create images with your mind you're
combining things and you're
able to imagine a much uh greater array of experiences and it's really
important to go to sleep at night
