joy tactics the world is in peril right now the news is bleak we don't even
want to bring up the
crazy news that we all know about what's happening in the deep oceans amongst
the wreckage of another
tragedy that happened merely 100 years ago bad things are happening and we we
were going to
comment on it we were going to go dart this episode but we decided everybody
needs a fucking
break don't they people need to be lifted up so what are we going to do what
are we going to do
guys we're going to go little massages with our words and lick on their ears
with our syllables
this is the happy like a dog you know what where this just this uh episode is
about to be like this
so you were just in like a crazy event maybe like a freak accident at a bonfire
at college and you all
go back to the dorms and you're like i cannot believe it we all just lost our
best fucking friend
this is terribly awful and then somebody brings in a golden retriever into the
room but and that
golden retriever it doesn't fucking speak english it doesn't understand death
and it never will and
it just fucking licks your face and you go you know what fuck it i gotta just
be happy and that's what
this episode is gonna be can you imagine your whole family gets fucking
murdered badly in a very public
way and then who shows up to help you at the hospital it's chris tucker saying
what's up being
hilarious as fuck what's up man you know you're going through it but you get a
little brightness from
mr tucker and you get to ask him all about rush hour all about all his other
movies
yep that's you know what i mean that's what we are doing right now for
everybody if they subscribe to
our patreon the literally the darker the world gets the more positive joy
tactics is gonna be
right so in some ways i kind of like that the world is in just such a disarray
right now because
that just lets us shine a little bit brighter you know that's right a light
looks more bright in the
dark except for in true darkness which is in deep space no light shall shine
there so we don't want
to go down that road how's that true you mean i don't understand the science of
it well in a black
hole i can understand what you're saying but light can travel seemingly through
anything well you know
that the world is nearing a black hole in terms of the how fucking sad it's
getting right now based
on the articles i'm reading okay we we've talked about how depressing the news
is on this podcast before
we're standing by that truth but we're gonna we're gonna bring some fucking joy
into the world right
now how i don't even know how we're gonna do it but we're gonna we're gonna
pull this off the world
yep and no matter what eric's internet quality is like we're gonna do it it's
not gonna make it
awkward or bumpy at all and here we are four months in they said this is the
thing people think that
four months in y'all are still having fucking internet issues y'all are still
having fucking audio issues
whatever for the people that we are we this is fucking incredible this is a
fucking miracle that we're able to
pull this off are you kidding me yeah well you know what it is is that we could
have the crispest most
amazing audio on the planet if we wanted to but i've always this is like
something that i feel like
presidents kind of adhere to where you don't want them to be too perfect no you
can't have a presidential
figure to be too perfect so obama for instance michelle i think this is a pr
technique where every reporter will be
like oh like have you had a cigarette recently so we know he has kind of one
vice where he's just he's not
he kind of presents himself as being so perfect and this charming swat swag
swaggy swabby ass person you
know what i'm saying yeah but he needs his little ciggy from from now and then
and that makes him relatable
so that's what we do a little bit we bring you back down to earth audios with
our audio quality
yeah oh because by the way you think people didn't enjoy audio things in the
1920s when it all sounded like
fucking shit
