Joey Tactics.
And what the fuck is up?
We are walking.
We are currently...
We just saw the craziest shit.
So we just got...
We're about to start podcasting.
And then something crazy exploded
and we had to go run into the woods.
I mean, not that chill just happened.
We're getting...
This is the Go on a Walk With Us episode.
We are going on a beautiful walk.
We encourage you,
if you are thinking about going on a walk,
to listen to this
anytime you want to walk for one hour.
Yep.
This is a time where we're all isolated.
We're staying indoors
and we're trying to prevent the spread
of the novel coronavirus.
And so we thought,
let's give them a taste of...
Their own medicine.
No, of the natural medicine, nature.
And I would say,
if you are sitting down right now,
if you're on the couch,
pause it right now
and come on a fucking walk with us.
Yep.
Get your steps in.
Get your steps in
because you have been lazy
all fucking day long.
You've been watching TikTok
and you just went to Spotify right now.
Get the fuck up and go walk.
Yeah, get out.
Get outside now.
Get out the house.
I'm in my mom's car.
So we'll give you a lowdown
of what we're seeing right now
if you're listening.
Trees, grass, dirt, cloud, branches, and leaves.
Eric, socks in his shoes, pants.
There are deer ticks here
which carry Lyme disease
which seems to be attracted
to a lot of celebrities.
Right.
Weirdly.
Weirdly.
Well, it knows the type of blood
it wants to be in.
Exactly.
And I did hear from someone
that Lyme disease
is a form of chemical warfare.
God damn it.
And I believe that.
And I believe that.
I hate to hear that.
And why are they out
in Martha's Vineyard
where we are at right now?
Why are there so many ticks here?
Because this is where
the elite stay.
On an island.
Oh, wait.
Let's get a little natural sound
in here.
Oh, yeah.
ASMR real quick.
Listen to this.
ASMR.
Okay.
Wait, wait, wait.
Oh, shit.
Wait, wait, wait.
Shit, shit.
We're like a three-steady.
We're doing like a three-legged race.
We're also tied together
by microphones.
Basically, this is
what do you call it?
A human sound centipede.
I think I've had that idea before.
Okay.
Let's kind of calm
and do a little bit
of ASMR for them.
I'll do a little bit.
Hey.
Welcome to your
eye appointment
checkup.
I'm doing this
out in the woods
right now
because
it is more relaxing.
Can you tell me
what you see
down there?
Is it a rock?
Good.
Can you tell me
what you see
down there?
Is it sand?
Good.
Whatever.
I got to work
on the ASMR,
but you know
what I mean.
They do be saying
that kind of stuff.
Eric is taking
an ASMR
master class.
he's being scammed
right now
by some
YouTubers.
And I see
someone else
auditory
with their family.
Simulation
multi-purpose
R
radio waves.
It does feel like
we are a little troop
in a war right now
in Vietnam or something.
Doesn't it feel like that?
Yeah.
Well, we don't.
There's people on the trail.
Oh, that's another thing
is if we run into somebody
and they're willing
and they're a warm soul,
we'd love to invite them
on to Joy Tactics
and hear what their lives
are about and give them
a little podcast,
but outside.
Pretty much, yeah.
I think that's,
no one's ever done that
before.
It's an original idea.
There's a piece of wood
on the ground.
So, what is everybody's
relationship with walking?
Sorry to cut you off.
Well, no, I wanted to say
like every,
I think my relationship
with walking is
I use it as a way
to clear my head.
Okay, because there's
a lot of demons
going on inside
of my brain constantly
and there's only one way
to fight those demons
which is to get those steps in
and get outside
and get the blood flowing
and you've got to fight
constantly.
It's a fight
every fucking day,
every second of your life
is a fight against
your own mind,
against your own,
it's all an internal battle.
So,
God damn,
if it isn't that,
I don't know what it is.
All battles are internal.
Oh, boy.
Your enemy is not your boss.
Your enemy is not your partner.
It's you.
It's you, demon inside.
It's your fucking ass.
It's this bastard
with the most amazing fit
on the bear shirt on
the fucking glasses.
It's you, dude.
Get out of my fucking way.
Whoa.
Now slow down there, horsey.
That was only but a teaser.
Just a little taste
of what I can only assume
is one of the most
fire podcast episodes
ever recorded.

fucking episode
