joy tactics can't believe that this is happening right so what is this episode
called this is
called we're in hell something bad has happened well we're trying to record at
our friend's house
but um a damn half marathon's happening so we've been in traffic for not
kidding over an hour and
i have to pee more than i've ever had to go in my life and i'm very
disappointed in new york city
that's right say because this is a look into the into the soul people like oh
there's just traffic
today it's inconvenient no this is a look at who new york is right now they're
willing to sacrifice
all infrastructure right for what oh you value a race a purple popsicle on the
street to try to get
more customers or something like what is at what cost to to new yorkers do we
need to block off the
streets for half marathon half marathon put them on why don't you just book hella
treadmills right
i just think it's so funny how there is and my voice just cracked haven't felt
that since i was
all right wow that was a good reminder right what it's like to grow and step
into a new phase of life
but what i was gonna say is the a marathon in and of itself is something
incredible it's usually for a
charity it's usually to better the people that are doing this but what they're
what they're not
thinking about is the podcasters that have to get to various different
locations that don't have a
home studio right that probably should at this point right and are suffering
their podcasters are
suffering right now in the world a lot of people don't talk about that people
talk about the
traditional entertainment industry yeah the creator community is suffering as
well right and by the
way something much more serious than all of this is happening right now in real
time say it now jack
it's almost too sad to say 54 dollars on mediterranean food that's showing up
at the apartment
that we're supposed to be right now and we didn't know about the half marathon
know about this
fucking traffic and so guess what if i swear to god yeah this half marathon
makes me lose out on
this chicken and 27 dollars uh-huh guess what's gonna happen what let's just
say next year oh the
camera's over here let's just say next year the half marathon is gonna take
place partially in a
crater in the earth wow be be careful with that because not no not not like not
not um not in a
right right i'm saying in the sense of i'm gonna withhold my don't look up
style research hey yo
what's up girl hey get your number hey dude it's not dude no no no i don't joke
i don't i don't joke
about catcalling i don't even fucking entertain that you won't be doing that
for my car ever again bro
whoa now slow down there horsey that was only but a teaser just a little taste
of what i can only
assume is one of the most fire podcast episodes ever recorded head over to
patreon.com slash joy tactics
