joy tactics you're walking up the stairs every step is harder and harder you
get towards the top
but the top keeps slipping away from you the light is fading to a blue haze
then a green haze
and it starts smelling like rifa oh it starts making a little drowsy you think
maybe i'll let
myself slide back down the stairs man that is because of depletion your oxygen
levels are low
remember that video game eric that you got me onto which one the one where you
go around space as a
little dude outer wilds that was a beautiful game that's a beautiful game and
you're talking about
how you can run out of oxygen and air out in a space environment yep deep depletion
yeah
so that's what everybody's feeling today isn't it and that's the theme of the
episode energy
depletion tiredness wait a minute exhaustion what oh never mind never mind i
just thought i just
thought that we were supposed to put out an episode today of joy tactics but we
did we already
did we did yeah we already did that's what that's your tired brain misfiring
and not realizing the
truth of the of reality that we did put an episode out today what do you here's
what i want to say is
what do you think we could do right now or today to turn this around this tiredness
around
well well a lot of people would turn to this
coffee french press coffee and by the way can i just say this what are we doing
here i'm staying
at this airbnb they only have the french press this shit's hard to clean out
this shit's a damn
oh yeah nothing i would say nightmare to clean out who who the fuck is making
coffee every day in a
french press you gotta french people it's french people that's two days in a
row i've had to talk
about these fuckers if you live in france get your fucking attitude around
together man y'all suck
the whole shit about you sucks oh it's poor it's pour over okay it's just pour
over is the only way
to go or if you have a family of six you do that big coffee pot the mr coffee
pot or if you're in the
woods you put it on the middle you put it in a regular old thing are you guys
at all worried about
like plastics sort of stuff micro plastics or regular plastics there's only so
many things
that we can continue to be worried about yeah i mean that shit's rocking our
intestines right now
that why do you think there's been an intense rise in colon cancer in young
people well i would say it
has to do with some of the plastics the new type of plastics that have been
improved gotta be
but i just have a i have this coffee uh it's like a very plastic like coffee
maker you know and i'm like
that thing is heating up every day i feel like that is yeah if you could if you
could source all of the
ailments of plastics back to one device it has to be the mr coffee plastic oh
bro this thing is
boiling water and plastic and it's just what and the only thing that is not
plastic about it is the
yeah the the the pot that it it drains into right but last pot the filter it
goes into a fucking paper
filter and then that goes into another fucking plastic fucking thing and then
it goes into another
hot boiling fucking water you're telling me i'm not getting like the the
plastic poison outer lining
of that every day of course you are microbiome i'm fucking pissed about it i
need an all glass or
all wood coffee maker nate hit the pour over dude hit the pour over what do you
think i should go with
it yes well because i was sitting here googling what's the opposite of plastic
and interestingly
enough they don't want you to know but when you said because i'm googling it
and i don't even i can't
even fathom the results on google truly but when you said wood that made me
think that must be the
antidote organic materials whoa now slow down there horsey that was only but a
teaser just a little
