joy tactics so i guess right away i gotta apologize for the intro song on the
last episode
oh yeah that was that we don't we don't know like like i had no idea that you
you went and
changed the the the intro song without contacting me personally and then
contacting eric and then
us having our sort of no weekly discuss uh uh branding discussions yeah so that's
behind our
backs with that one that's my fault i i i knew that a couple people from the
music industry would
be listening that week and selfishly i use that as an opportunity and which i
regret because i'm banned
from sony music and build the building but yeah i just tried to that's my fault
and i won't do it
again so wait did you make the beat for that i made the beat i sang i did all
of it and it didn't work
in my favor that's for sure no i'm sick of learning lessons at this age and
yeah so eric's not here
go ahead and i want everyone to just like take a moment and guess why he's not
here and do it just
with numbers do it numerically yeah no words just numerically try and guess why
he's not here
i mean there's there's only a couple things that could be the case and all of
them are sort of
uh medical i would say yeah really bad bad medical not like uh the flu you know
something oh that's a
good medical thing yeah that's a that's a one of the best medical things that
can happen to you
honestly on the scale of illnesses and and sorts yeah you get yeah eric's not
right right but eric's not
involved in this episode for a reason actually yeah so eric is a cast member on
joy tactics and we love
him for that he's really talented but this is a merchandising meeting this is a
writing meeting he's
not a writer he's not a producer um and so i and we'd love his stuff we're huge
fans we really love
huge huge fans um but it's just not a fit for this type of conversation right
and honestly it would be
a hindrance to what we want to discuss today yeah um which is i mentioned it
earlier i brought it up
but we have a lot of chats just between me and jack um between just about
branding on the topic of like
where are we going with this podcast are we putting out the right sort of
instagram posts what's our
what's our color scheme you know right what fonts are we using uh this week
does this align with our
mission does this align with our the values of our because this is a
corporation by the way this isn't
just a this is a media empire that we're building and people see it as oh it's
just a podcast yeah well
guess what disney started as uh just a drawing right and now look what it is
theme park
apple music started as apple uh apple tv started as apple music well which one
well apple well i i guess
it's it started as a computer you know right it started as a computer chip it
started as a chip
and now it's a tv show a tv channel with ted lasso on it red bull started as a
drink and now it's people
jumping off of a cliff in a raft right okay so i don't think people quite see
like our vision
and i just want to make sure that the patrons especially since you guys are all
early uh investors
in in the podcast that you guys are aligned on the vision as well of where we're
going where we're
headed yeah because we're circling in on dropping products so our first way our
first method of joining
the conversation in terms of global capital is through patreon is through audio
sharing ip sharing
addresses uh what am i saying ideas rather uh but now we're starting to move
into move into i'm sorry
i don't know what just happened we're starting to move into products physical
products some people
but merch no this isn't merch this is not merch just in the same way that kanye
west would you do you
think the yeezy shoe is merch no i don't even think he's real you don't think
kanye west is a real
person i think somebody died in a car accident that he says he did was in
through through the wire
why is that not like a world like a dude that is such a good conspiracy i can't
even believe that's
not i can't believe that just came up right now holy shit i never thought about
that and i'm the
newest member of the rockefella team uh-oh what's this illuminati symbol yep
whoa now slow down there
horsey that was only but a teaser just a little taste of what i can only assume
is one of the most
fire podcast episodes ever recorded head over to patreon.com joy tactics now to
unlock this crazy
ass fucking episode while simultaneously getting in at the ground floor of an
exclusive community
of like-minded individuals using positivity to change the world cheers
