Colors (Discussion of the Color Yellow) | Joy Tactics Podcast | Ep. 84

you know who's not donating their organs who me me why because yours are all shriveled
up
from nicotine salt already by the way welcome to joy tactics the podcast
dedicated to all things
joyful joyous and meeting as many celebrities as humanly possible hosted by eric
rahill
mate ferroni and jack bensinger enjoy oh watch this okay watch this
are you about to crack it open sparkling ice plus caffeine zero sugar blue
raspberry flavor
engage engaging now
yep here we go 70 milligrams caffeine about to go right up into my blood system
oops we're about to sit trip uh eric on caffeine on 70 milligrams of caffeine
he's about to flip out
on one point you know this is the same amount of caffeine why did i why did i
say that sit trip trip
sit jesus fucking christ it's the same amount of caffeine as a diet coke bottle
all right so pointless no it's not pointless dude would you say that to a three-year-old
child that
they're pointless because they're not 70 yet oh that's what yeah mathematically
so you're having
baby caffeine it's time to take negativity out of this podcast for good
negativity is over
if you are somebody who does negative
negativity behaviors
a cat just screamed at me
see i'm knowing that she's out as well
she's out
that's why it's called joy tactics sorry
why do i like negativity
because it starts with n
what does that mean
your name starts with n
no no no no no no please
go up go up
so uh
what
is it i believe today we're speaking on colors
right today's colors we've been we've been beating around the bush for too damn
long
finally we get to one of the most essential parts of vision which is color
now to all my colorblind people who are crying me a river right now
get up get a pair of those glasses and then come talk to me
and see if you don't cry a little bit
you guys have seen those videos right where they put on the glasses and they
start crying
yeah that is your personal like colors are making you cry
what's that oh yeah
that is your wet dream to have something you like either
uh vision loss or something
and you're in a medical facility and somebody
puts in new eyeballs because of this brand new technology
and you get to see for the first time
uh you know what i think about all the time which i can't wait for is my honor
walk
you know what this is
that's where you're walking um
this is when you choose to you are brave enough soul to donate your organs
and they walk your bed down the hallway as you are going to
go donate them but you're still kind of alive
and your family lines up all the nurses line up everybody's sad
usually those people are sedated by that point are not awake at all
and maybe i don't know enough about this so i'm talking out my rear end but i
want to be awake for that shit
i want to see everybody looking at me as about to go donate organs that are
going to save 40 lives
you know what i mean
why the cup but you're not walking
so it's like an honor
stroll
the honor push
it's an honor
whatever
journey
yeah
hallway journey
honor commute
hall
yeah
medical honor commute
you know who's not donating their organs
who
me
me
why because yours are all shriveled up from nicotine salt already by the way
they've been preserved within your body
yeah you could donate your organs
you could donate your organs to a pig trough
good god
you could donate your organs to the down the drain foundation they call them
no i have some of the best organs on the planet
are you fucking kidding me
people would
do
i've topped your organs right now
especially if i went out now
in my current state
you think so
i bet they're good
what do you say
what do you think so
yeah i do think so dude
i know mine are all plump
i've got a
oversized heart
oversized spleen
giant pancreas
i don't judge my own organs
from what i tell they're great
i go pee
that's great
that's part of what they do
i told you guys about
this idea i had to
we were talking about kind of products in the last episode
and eric you weren't there for that
due to
reasons that we can't get into
amalgamations
legally we can't get into them
and i would just encourage you to stop it now
but we were talking about products
and i had this product idea a long time ago
but it was to ice out your internal organs
like inward bedazzling them out
yeah yeah
oh yeah
so you want a grill
that's only for when you gotta go get a biopsy
where they go in with that thing
you're gonna get a trach
you're getting your vocal cords looked at
looking for nodes
looking for whatever
chromed out
and you get it all chromed out
and then they go in
oh shit
all the nurses
start losing it
they're getting all impressed by you
and you're out like a light
but you put a gopro in the corner of the operating room
so you can catch the reactions
okay
imagine
nobody's doing stuff like that for the
for medical professionals
nobody's thinking outside the box
because it's uncomfortable to do so
all right
that's what's keeping people inside the box
is comfort
which is something that i'm familiar with
seek discomfort now
go find discomfort
and seek it
shout out to yes theory
all those guys on yes theory
still riding it out for discomfort
we appreciate you
you've changed the way that i shower
you've changed the way that i book my flights
and try to be more adventurous with my travel
you've changed me from
you've changed me into a raycon headphone
stand
you've changed me into a
liquid death stand
you've changed my internet
provider when i travel
you're just so heavily influenced by their ads
i mean it's great
what do you mean ads
no they do
yeah
better help
dude i'm about to maybe make an ass of myself
but
does the normal person really need a vpn
i mean really
what'd she got to hide
i'll tell you what
i do
well you do because you got me as a normal person
you're downloading like uh nurse jackie
on
the pirate bay
season three whatever
you know what i just downloaded off pirate bay
hmm
that show bad monkey
bad monkey
apple
apple
apple uh
tv
it's like five
well what's it about
what's it about
well it's based on a book
and
eric were you about to
it starts vince vaughan
you're shocked
that tv
that books can become tv shows
i am shocked
jack what were you saying
eric were you about to yell at nate for not giving his five dollars to apple tv
because they need it
now more than ever by the way
they are taking chances on shows that no other providers and streamers are
trust me now
they are taking chances
they are taking chances on on forgotten people who have you know
two words
two words
yeah
hmm
copper mines
what
what
is that british
copper mines
copper mines
you know those iphones you have
that we all love
where's the copper come from
or whatever precious metals that are needed to make these iphones
just look into it
a mine
is it for
look into this
look into this corporation that you think is so benevolent
i'll say another two words foxcon
foxcon
i'll say another two words too
ted lasso
okay
so
why do you think those people get bravery
it's worth the suffering man
that show is fucking awesome man
well those are the only people brave enough to go into a copper mine
are people who know human beauty through ted lasso and soccer
british soccer
do you think they get um
hooked up with at least
do you think they at least like hook up any
this is a this is a terrible conversation let's move on
yeah let's move on because that is real suffering
yeah yeah yeah
that is discomfort
we do not seek that type of discomfort
we seek
uh more like travel based discomfort
that some people would see as luxury but
yeah right
seek travel based discomfort
yeah that's
international travel based discomfort
well should we i mean should we get into the world of color
i don't want
i totally forgot that we were talking about that
i don't want the listeners to get too greedy
it's not like we're gonna do the whole rainbow this episode
all right
we're not doing the whole spectrum of color
we're choosing one color
somebody throws their computer out of their fucking window
what the fuck
somebody else catches it out the bottom of the window
they go to a pawn shop sell it
buy a wedding ring
propose to their wife
oh wow
oh they get married have seven children
one of those children has most of the most rare blood type
that saves the next president of the united states
that guy becomes president
approves all gay marriage across all the entire world
and his name is donald trump
wow
that's called butterfly effect
yep
it all starts
i started a joke
remember that song
american song
wait wait wait wait
i do remember this real quick
say it
say it about
say what you're gonna say about colors
just when i think there isn't like a
just i mean not that like
we cover a lot of meaningful topics
but sometimes i'm like
certainly we've
we've gotten through the ones that are just like
just really
just really
meaningless
no
no
oh you think color is meaningless
how interesting
that's hilarious to me
color is so important
you know what i'm saying
how else would you know about stoplights
whether to go or not
is that not meaningful
what about tears
they're blue
what about the heart
it's red
what about snakes
poisonous snakes
black on white
you're in for a fright
something like that
green and red
you're dead
or dread
give me head
nate
green and red
uh oh
it's green and red today
uh oh
damn you see a green and red snake
can get so
freaking
bricked up
all right
all right
but for real
green and red makes me think of
see colors are evocative
green and red makes me think of christmas
oh right
right
you know we did talk about colors on the patreon episode last
and we were we discussed the um the colors of mcdonald's you know this eric
jack wasn't aware
of this but you know that they purposefully selected the ketchup and mustard
that's exactly what i said
that's what jack said but those those two colors combined it's there's a
scientific uh discovery of some sort
eric what's red plus yellow
what does that what does that make color combination wise
brown
wrong
what what does it make
think a little bit
deeper
green
money
that's what i said
did you
i mean i didn't say the money
i mean me i don't
well
it's or it's got to be orange right
yeah i think it's i did say green at first
oh oh
it's orange
right
i don't think about it's sitting right there
i like to think about
i don't rock
well what's interesting is
i love the color
incarceration
well
american incarceration yeah
yeah
and that's so weird because it reminds me of
um
some of the construction workers that i
drink with
personal close principle
that i drink with
um
yeah
orange is a color that
makes me so happy to see
you know in like a sunset or a light color
if the color of a light is orange
i like that
but
and i like orange objects from time to time
and yet what's funny is
a real natural orange
i don't even actually want to talk about this
because last time i brought up that i don't like oranges
i feel like you guys turned on me in a way that's not normal
but you see we've grown
yeah we shamed you
i see your leg hair's grown
nate
look at that
oh speaking of orange
my leg hair and my arm hair is getting all
blonde from the pool
and the sun
really
yep
that's safe
that's a safe way to dye your hair
life hack
save money at the hair salon
get in a pool for seven hours a day
every day for a month
do some laps
yeah
i went to the pool today and did
many laps
wait but i i want to get back to the mcdonald's of it all
what why did they
because it makes you hungry those two colors
they found
right in combination
but but i have this bone to pick and this question to ask about mcdonald's
because they're like mcdonald's is so scientific mcdonald's is this
you you think ray crock in the 1950s was being that scientific
what what else did they invent in the 50s eric
uh the adam the berlin wall
nah that was a little earlier dude
that's what you that's what you think
well what i'm saying okay even okay to my point even further it was even
earlier dude
so what i'm saying is yeah they could come up with colors being interest
