The Notion of Fits | Joy Tactics Podcast | Ep. 101

you don't even listen to the humor in a lot of podcasts not after i'm not about
how he how he
treats women um welcome to joy tactics the podcast dedicated to all things
joyful joyous and meeting
as many celebrities as humanly possible hosted by eric rahill nate veroni and
jack bensinger
enjoy okay i'll tell you what i was going to tell you oh yeah i wanted to save
it yeah last night
for everyone listening we're staying in new york right now brooklyn but i was
sleeping at my
brother's place in harlem and i was staying in his bed he's in india whatever i've
been having some
scary things happen and over the last two nights what happened last night is i
woke up and my cpap
machine had been flung off of the shelf upside down and it didn't wake me up
and it was like off and
it was like upside down i've never you would i would hear a crash that loud but
i didn't hear it
ghosts i don't know well but this is what i want to tell you the night before i
wake up in the middle
of the night and i i'm in the room and i look on the like on the windowsill and
there's a brown
like top in the air spinning like this like a dreidel in the air in the air levitating
yeah
no do you think i'm serious do you think it has something i think i might have
been dreaming of
course but well what the fuck hanukkah fell on christmas this year i wonder if
the dichotomy
when those two events happened at the same time if it ruptured something in the
religion time
continue in the in the span of two weeks yeah drones and interdimensional dreidel
spinning
interdimensional hanukkah maybe i'm getting a sign maybe that's actually that
you convert maybe those
those orbs were just the top of the star of david in the sky oh and i'm getting
a sign to go over to
the blue and white side well give me a sign you like that that's dmx he's
giving me multiple signals
for sure yeah so are you sure you even want to talk about fits today or would
you rather
you know decompress ghosts and i know i think i've spoken of before on this on
this show not this
episode of course about uh my experience waking up and seeing things that were
not there your parents
did what you were waking up and seeing things yeah i've seen a cat i've seen a
dude those are the two
big ones okay well if you saw a cat and a dude and all i saw was a brown top
spinning then i'm
more worried about you i'm fine right no your seems like ominous like an ominous
like death signal
yeah i don't know what if that's my guardian angel and they take the form of
shapes you don't have a
guardian angel yeah i do man how do you think i got this far what are they
protecting you from
oh you don't want to know deep fucking deep state agents a gardening heart
attacks
clogged arteries they're up in there fucking chipping away with little mind
pics taking all that plaque
out of the my arteries are reverse i got it's too lubed up in there the doctor
said the blood is
wow wait but there's something i wanted to ask oh yeah so has your brother ever
said that the place
is haunted and are you telling him let me know that maybe he tried to pawn it
off on me and try to pass
the curse that's what i would do maybe your brother yeah i'm gonna go to india
what maybe your brother
is a ghost that couldn't be couldn't be did you see him get born ah yeah i was
in the room so you
did see it i was in the room i saw it i saw it it was amazing it was beautiful
see that's yeah
court behavior oh and last night we watched before we top dip into the topic of
uh fits fits and fitting
we watched one of the best youtube videos i've ever seen in my life last night
i wasn't there
yeah well you would have been jealous what's the video the nelk boys went to an
uncontacted tribe
in fiji for anybody who doesn't know steve will do it boys no no steve can't be
on youtube he's
banned or something whoa he's banned for being too good of a guy for being too
donating too much and
awakening uh social consciousness sexual massages with tekashi 69 no such thing
but the nelk boys for
those who don't know which is hardly maybe one or two people in the whole
universe at this point
yeah how do you describe them they're basically like the spice girls of
straight guys yeah who smoke
narcan and shit they just like are okay whatever dudes you know they're like
the godfathers of zen
online gambling yeah they're interviewing like the likes of president former
president and future
president donald j s donald sexual trump donald s pumpkins relax relax he's
getting more sexual by the
fucking day all tan did i dream that he had a new wife that was like a model
that definitely was not reality you had a prediction but his current wife is a
model
oops i just oh never mind melania but the video was amazing it was so it was i
was like
don't you see them they were someone is violently shaking this table
is it me i think so i'm kind of nudging my life but the um
they okay so they they had like a guide with them and this dude was on like joe
rogan he's like some
white guy who like it just goes in the amazon and he was kind of like telling
them like how to act
and they were like they had to bring them an offering to be accepted and if
they didn't they
probably would have gotten like shot and killed with bow and arrows on command
so they had to hunt
a pig and like chase it down and bring a live pig to an island and apparently
from this video
jack says that this is like uh he said this is shot on a soundstage or
something like that i don't
believe it i believe the nelk boys actually went here and he said that they
were the first visitors
in 30 years and they and they came what they gave them pig they gave them a pig
as an offering
well they all together went and hunted a pig and slaughtered it well they didn't
slaughter it
they did later and one of the they were like you have to club it and like one
of the nelk boys is
like i can't fucking do it and this guy picked up a big double and he's like
give me this
you know listen to me it's not cool it's very disturbing to watch i do not in
behind the scenes
i do not if anybody can't tell the nuances of our satire i'm not really rocking
with them
i hate to be myself i fucking hate it but i say this to say shout out to the
editor because the
editing comedically is incredible yeah cutting like the perfect reaction it's
so bad it's like
uh it reminds me of the rap world feature film editing which i had a part in it
yeah of course
sort of but where it feels like the it's so give me that reckless is it a boar
is it a hairy boar no
it's no it's like a tiny like wild pig it's like a cute pig and this guy's like
i can't fucking give
me that shit jesus it's on youtube yeah and they have to put a disclaimer
before it to like and they
were like hunting is a part of this tribe civilization they literally cannot
survive without hunting wild
animals please youtube do not demonetize this do not demonetize but basically
they were saying they're
they had a huge disclaimer to try and uh jesus i'm gonna have to watch it on
the plane it is so good
and then when they like get into the island like they're they're immediately
like the tribe is like
running out to the boat and they're like ah and they're like shoving them
against the wall and he's
like they're gonna test you they're gonna test you and they're like shoving
like steiny up against
like the fucking tree and he's like oh i'm so scared steiny for those who don't
know but then
they're so like oh and then they're giving like the tribe this is like
something i feel like i i don't
know it's very like ray hill coated but they give the the chief like a bottle
of like whiskey and he's
like chugging it and they're all getting like faded off of like kava bowls and
they're giving all the
tribes people like like just like like uh bullet whiskey bullet rye it's not
that i'm not laughing
about this they're just like chugging it i'm not laughing with you guys because
what this is is a lost
civilization that needs to be preserved studied and cherished and we have these
people coming in
making content out of humanity which is my biggest fear my biggest enemy um and
that's poisoning society
bringing on the downfall what is that story though about that missionary that
went out to an
uncontacted yeah and he got killed immediately no no he but he got like hurt or
something people were
like do not fucking go and then he gets hurt anybody lives and then he goes
back then he goes back yeah
yeah and then he's fully killed yeah well they have a policy where they're like
they they shoot and
kill anyone who like comes i get like this tribe was like kind of like more
chill in that way that
they're not gonna if you bring up a pig that's why you gotta bring up a pig an
offering
some al pastor some al pastor if they brought that on the spit and they brought
some um flour tortillas
some pineapple some lime uh some modello cilantro some freaking yeah mezcal
some atkins bread
so no no you're off you're going off track off track if they brought the taco
truck
to the freaking tribe floating tacos wow that would be freak that would have
been that's how you
were when someone's trust i want to float but yeah that video was fucking it
was an a plus
a plus video there's nate's youtube review jack what are you dealing with right
now what is going on
with you what do you mean by that what are you feeling uh i'm feeling inspired
motivated energized
i feel like i've been getting amazing nights of sleep night after night after
night
oh no i feel moisturized i feel no disease coming on uh yeah i'm right i just
feel zero zero
like depletion of energy or anything i think um we're doing um i'm gonna be
your energy sort of
guru on this trip and what we'll be doing is i don't need one because but for
everyone listening
what the hell we are about to fly out to a very foreign land uh tonight the
most foreign of land
most foreign of land scotland the most ancient lands yeah yeah full of the land
of scott and we're
doing a red eye and basically what i'm worried about is energy levels not from
nate naked nate
can handle it nate has life hacks in the form of quad shots and two zins
nate was fiending for the zen last night in a way that i have not seen it was
alarming that was scary
dude i need a fucking zen like
i squinted to a bodega and they didn't have zen but they had these
these fucking everyone knows about if you're a zen addict you know these are
the fucking these are
disgusting dude on get the fuck out of here on nobody wants that shit it just
feels like you're
putting like kmart in your mouth you know what i'm saying i know exactly what
you're saying i got kmart
in my mouth but swag but so jack we're gonna hit you with a b12 we're getting b12
i don't need help
zinc i'm fresh i'm fresh are you gonna sleep on the plane no i don't think we
should why would we
we're gonna land at 6 a.m why would we want to have slept then well maybe we
should try to sleep
well let's let's move it on let's move it on so fits yeah what comes to mind t-shirts
elegant
scarves oh shit i'm afraid to talk about it i'm afraid to talk about it too
because here's what
everyone's gonna say it's over it's way overplayed it's it's seeped into the kmart
it's seeped into the
goodfellows merchandise at target yeah guess what i'm almost don't give a fuck
i almost just don't
give a fuck because sometimes it's just fun to look at camo was there before
this moment it will
be there after this moment but in this moment it's a bit over it's just oversaturated
well here's what
it is and i can't fake say a fucking thing because i wear these hats every day
and i'm wearing a yankees
hat that is fucking you know what i've just got to the point where i'm saying i
don't give a fuck
i'm wearing a nike's hat i'm wearing a hoodie i'm wearing my vans and my dickies
and that's fine
and i'll just live like that yeah i don't have to look elsewhere i struggle
when it comes to dressing
up real nice you know because i got that suit and now i'm too fat for it and i
brought a
