joy tactics oh you know we need a dude you guys saw the fader right up right
oh dude yep definitely what was that man what was that because i was looking
through fader as
i do every morning naturally and i was like well just uh well does this number
uh entice you at
all 1 million followers on instagram we have been yeah
when i used to work on the cruise ship when we'd go off to the ports i feel
like i was choosing
reading material that would try to set me aside from the other cruise ship
performers who are
reading just trash or they weren't even reading at all dude and so i would when
we because we
port in new york i would go to the cool magazine store and get like hard copies
of the fader mag
and i remember one time this beautiful dancer came up to me and he's like what
is that magazine i was
like um it's called fader and then that's all she asked also that's when i lost
a lot of weight on
the cruise ship and that same dancer one time came up to me and she was telling
me like i'm seeing you
lose the weight it's awesome like keep going like you're looking amazing and
then one time she saw
me and the other improv comedy performers at dinner and i was eating a roll and
she was like
you're like you know like losing your game like why would you eat that she was
like calling me out for
eating the roll and not oh was she a dancer did you appreciate it or was it a
hundred and two pound
dancer uh you know i don't like being told what to do dude so i actually
started getting more put on
the mass and then uh i just kept going to where we are today that was called i'm
actually trying to
she was projecting um her you should tell her
when she comes oh you're losing a lot of weight are you trying to lose weight
actually i'm trying to
gain about 108 pounds on my lap
try that damn dude oh just in my lap fucking pickup yeah off the cuff with a
minute and a half to
think about it yeah no that was good dude that was when i was going to school
in north carolina
north carolina school of the arts as people know there's a high school program
there and a lot
of them are dancers and they uh would share the cafeteria and these fools were
strictly forbidden
from eating that cereal the sugary cereal which is funny because when you look
at some of the best
break dancers and b-boys in the world they've got a little bit of meat on them
so they can use that
swing that thing as momentum to get it going so right sure i agree yeah that
too dude hitting the
hitting the cardboard you know yeah the bodies eric at uh i mean i wasn't
objectifying any of them but
at the martha graham dance performance right they are they are what you would
say what you call svelte
literally i thought they were going to come out and hit some poses because they
were so fit i thought
they were going to do front double bicep uh you know back and glutes lat spread
i know and i know
people have done this on tiktok and like been hilarious about it but i do want
to say i've
noticed for a long time because by the way i've had an ex-girlfriend who was a
dancer i'll just put it
that way they walk different they walk around the world quite differently they
have a different type of
walk it's like their hips are that on the last episode about actors you said
they actors have a different kind of walk
you're like actors move differently they uh
i guess you're you're maybe referring to them in a that in like a mental in a
mental way they move differently
oh yeah mentally actors are in a different plane the point is to be observing
very
you're very observant of other forms of of artistry and how they differ from
one another
thank you man and i just have noticed that i want to give you some respect
thank you
yeah dude i miss it hey man i miss la man it's my home man are you losing it it's
not meant for
me up here bro i'm not meant to be up here i'm meant to be closer to um uh santa
monica
well that's gonna suck when they film
i'll go ahead jack he said you're about to finish a crazy fucking i was gonna
spoil i was gonna spoil
that eric's uh in the new twin peak spinoff about frat house in uh pnw if i'm
only in spinoffs from
here on out so be it i'm lucky to have it i'm lucky to work that's what i keep
saying
that's been off as a spin up
fuck it dude i would be in fucking blues clues at this point in my life i'm
done with integrity
integrity is a weight bearing down on your head integrity ethics codes of
morals north stars fuck
all that shit that's a scam well if you abandon a sense of self oh go ahead i
was just gonna ask
where you got those sunglasses at they're uh i've been wondering the tim dylan
me oh these yeah yeah
the only person wearing sunglasses in the i know i know i should have obviously
i should i said your
name i said jack and then i said the where'd you get your sunglasses for and
you said who me well man
yeah i spoke before thinking once again sue me sue me for being vulnerable and
letting you in on my
mental process of conversations would you where did i get these oh burlington
coat factory
where i get all my clothing incredible bcc i mean the bcf yeah right sarah sherman
has a nice joke about
we're all out of sync right now we're totally out of sync i keep on cutting the
guys off yeah can we're
going back i feel like we've we've we've had one sentence spoken and it's like
kind of dipping in and
out of that like we haven't completed one full thought and sentence yet on the
podcast well why don't
we do this everybody take a breath
and then now we're tapping in and now we're being respectful finally of each
other and we'll be
listening for once instead of waiting to say our own thing how about that
having to do breathing exercises
the podcast i have never had an original thought in my life and i don't think i
want one here's a
thought what are you talking about the building that my dad lives in this is
just a tangent but the
building my dad lives in they have a nate you would love the fuck out of this
they have a hot dry sauna
they have a steam room they have a hot tub and they have a cold plunge bro say
what i know you're
here yeah you don't need to get your ears all adjusted that's what i said
yesterday me and my
dad go down to the sun the spa area and um there's another father and son in
the spa area it's a korean
father and son and they are fucking sick as hell and jacked okay and you look
at me and my dad and
were less so and you know i've been sort of like hating my phone wanting to get
the dumb phone need
to get off social media forever and actually frankly i just deleted instagram
and tiktok and twitter
but now i'm on youtube shorts bro now i'm not now i have magnetized to youtube
shorts which is the worst
but oh that's it's so busted that i'm on it a lot less and my hours are down
however yesterday i see
putting down what sorry i have a simile for you that's like putting down the uh
putting down the
bud light and picking up the crack pipe kind of it kind of is youtube shorts is
so busted
but we're down there and there's this uh you know jack korean dad and his son
and they're both on their
phones in the hot tub but the way that they're using their phones i'm like this
is what it was
meant for the dad is just straight up watching raw dogging korean news from korea
on his phone
watching it like this curious in the sauna the son is gambling he's playing
poker on his phone and
they just you know they weren't clicking around to social media they weren't
looking up uh things
they're being a hypochondriac to chat gpt they were just locked in to the
useful parts of their phone
and i thought respect wow respect i just needed to tell you guys that that was
on my heart this morning
thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing that with us you're welcome you're
a real one welcome
you're a real one and your beard's looking great man
um like that you like it like that i do well this brings us to the topic that i
floated for today
which is a i doom scenarios yeah i would like to bring forward an example this
is a lesson that you
can learn in in uh martial arts when somebody is going to flip you over they
say don't you know
don't fight it the whole time waste all your energy trying to stop it from
happening if it's going to
happen at a certain point at least choose the timing when you're gonna get
thrown you know just go with
it but make it on your terms so if we're gonna whoa now slow down there horsey
that was only but a
teaser just a little taste of what i can only assume is one of the most fire
