Disgusting & Nasty Gossip | Ep. 127

yep we're back eric has no idea that we've started right now and watch him
watch him come back yep
we're recording eric surprise you've just enjoyed the episode yep you just said
oh great we pranked
you i was blowing my blowing my nose from allergies you're blowing your nose
out yeah i get my nose
blown out from the inside damn remember when that couple was like heckling us
when i was sneezing
and they're and then they ended up heckling the show they ended up heckling my
good friend mo welch
very badly yeah they were like and then you were stepping up but i was too far
away from them
otherwise i would have stepped in and said something yeah what do you mean you
were like a foot away from
me like they couldn't see me bro i was on my ground control right what the fuck
did they say to my girl
mo dude what the no i'm not standing for this shit they were just they weren't
roasting mo but they
were just trying to get into the mix i think they were coked out i think they
were coked up
faded as fuck and they just didn't they weren't even there for the comedy show
they just like walked
in and started like yelling and it was like it was like the worst type of heckler
because they're just
like so faded they can't even like respond to like it can't you can't even make
like a light of the
situation like it's just right it was it was it was a nightmare and that was
they were like bikers from
the 1970s it felt like like it felt like we went into a 1970s biker yeah yeah
in the inland empire
you guys need me out there actually we don't dude i wanted you here for a while
but then
if you if you're rejected enough you stop even reaching out and that's what you've
done
i don't care about what you just said because it's hard to understand but
all i know is that i just i don't know why it was hard to understand but it was
because you don't want to hear it bro yeah i have bullshit filters on my ears
i have bullshit filters on my ears and in my brain okay it's simple that's what
people don't realize
okay but yeah if i was there after going through two years of sarah sherman
boot camp summer tour
boot camp let's just say mo welch would have been raised up on a motherfucking
chair like a bar
mitzvah if i was there by those bikers because you fuck mo welch i'll fucking
kill you and i don't
know melt mo i've never met her and i don't know her we should have mo on the pcast
on the podcast
we should she's so funny yeah rocking with mo shout out to the is she part of
the grape
empire what's that yeah we welches that i'm not sure i haven't i haven't asked
her i was waiting
to know her for a few years before i asked that question we'll get ubo on it
the uh british guy
welcome to joy tactics the podcast dedicated to all things joyful joyous and
meeting as many
celebrities as humanly possible hosted by eric rahill nate veroni and jack bensinger
enjoy
but i think i think we need to respond to something um and this is going to be
sort of a deviation from
the normal joy tactics discussion and riffing um it's a little more serious it's
a little serious yeah i
would say it is pretty serious so apologies for um kind of the switch up in
tone but i think it's
something we need to address and talk about and discuss let's see let's see if
these twitter names
handles ring a bell lunchenjoyer yeah does that ring a bell niburu truth yeah
does that ring a bell
um and my favorite handle of all time oh no what's caleb's brain getter
i have the best handle what are we doing we're complimenting their fucking
handles this is serious
right now right you're right actually before i met caleb he we were engaging
with each other online i
think this is right before he moved to new york i was like this guy might be a
little too extreme for
me i didn't i like understand the whole thing yet i was like this guy's next
level so i had fear about
him until i met him and realized he's actually has the intellect of an aunt so
this is a another podcast
another niche comedy podcast that we're going to war that we're engaged in war
with right and what
did they say about us what did they say about us bro they said that we're a
much lower level podcast
and that we don't produce any style of good uh podcast wow or wow what pains me
the most is we used to
be friends we used to be taught i could trust these people exactly we used to
be tight as hell
jack and i went to damn atlantic city with caleb in in february and april or so
we and i thought we
had a good time and i thought we squashed up because we did have we do have
small beeps but i thought we
squashed that on the trip via gambling and drinking and commiserating but this
is i was mistaken about
yeah yeah once again once again say why don't we go around and say one thing
that we don't like about
each of them so oh yeah one only one i do have to say uh all jokes aside yo cameron's
hair's looking
fucking good bro short hair haircut he got that cut before i left but i feel
like he's like fully grown
into it so it's looking fucking good he looks like a disney channel badass yeah
nothing else to say
yeah yeah well we could we could combat this issue with love i know actually i
think that's what joy
tactics would do yeah oh that's a great uh strategy because hey and this is the
rumors episode so why
don't we hit him with the negative okay the pot oh oh right gossip my fault my
fault okay so pause it
even better even better rumors even better here's something i heard when caleb
pitts was visiting
california i kept asking him time and time again to to move here and was
talking shit on new york to try
to make him leave that state and come over here that's what i heard well how
did you what did you try
just different conversation tactics and showing him amazing restaurants and
different gyms and saunas
you show him the you show him the starbucks 30 minutes north of glendale
yeah that's what eric takes all the out of town this will show him come get
four water
venti waters with me hey man hey hey tread lightly on my my ritual there
because
that is a basically suburban simulator that i like just water
they're all day long i watched the tiktok on uh how dirty that water could be
so i'm not doing that
anymore but um what have you guys heard about these guys heard about them yeah
what have you heard on
the front um through the grapevine i've seen patrick at the skate park a couple
times and he's just
i'm not saying this to be rude whatever but he does just kind of sit there and
like drool
and he doesn't go like there's kind of an order at a skate park it's like okay
it's your turn all right
your turn and people are like tapping him on the head like hey bro hey you want
to go like go ahead i'm
waiting like what's up and people kind of wipe the drool off of him
uh i that's interesting but i thought we were doing positive gossip dude
can i try again then yeah because i forgot that
oh you're got your oh i see what you're saying your positive gossip was that
you tried to
make caleb live closer to you yeah because i i appreciate our friendship so
much i wish there
was a little teleprompter for this podcast i could look at that would just have
somebody typing like
kind of what we're on currently right right right right well because we're on
somebody we're like a
baklava style level of layers right baklava when we have like the in-person
studio jack should have
those two like panel prompters that like politicians use that have like the
clear dissecting like just
different definitions of words that are brought up and it's like infused with
ai i'm cool with that
like ar glasses on okay so let me spin that positively here's what i heard
about patrick
that he um sends me text messages that make me laugh my ass off i couldn't go
skateboarding with them
last weekend mike and pat and pat sent me a fucking hilarious photoshop of me
as a like a honeycomb
or something okay so he makes me and i heard that cam has thank cam's thing is
so big he can wrap it
around his fucking waist like a fucking saiyan dude is that what the saiyans do
they're right
goku's got it that fucking long they have tail i'm saying they have tails and i
think they wrap
oh i see what am i right uh don't they kind of use it as a belt sometimes they'll
hold up their
their trousers the tail they have tails does goku have a tail i mean that might
just be someone who's
got a tail bro i think they have a tail no i think he gets a tail when he turns
into the super monkey
i remember that there was a tail at one point i feel like i remember getting
chopped off
yes goku has a tail in dragon ball but it's not always present
god i wish i had a tail man i'm thinking about re-watching dragon ball
what a crazy series because it started out dragon ball started out hella fun
and it was almost like
a kid show and then it got fucking dark and violent well then you throw the
letter z on there and
things get a little different don't they dragon balls z style i want to see
like teletubby z or
something nice man they make an appearance in 28 years later how about the tubbies
oh chill chill chill
spoiler alert opening scene spoiler alert what were you saying jack i was
saying i wouldn't mind seeing
political debate z andrew calm tell zoran exactly how powerful he's becoming
you don't know what i've
been up to since i got the money from the books i've been studying you man zoran
i'm gonna call it
right now zoran is going to become president of the united states from the
mayoral election
he's gonna get so many votes in the may new york mayor's election they will
have no choice take
it bro take the whole u.s trump's gonna see that thing he's gonna put down the
brisket sandwich
that he was just cooking up put it taking bites of he did what by the way if
trump is eating brisket
sandwich respect right because that seems like an evolution of his taste buds
right because he's
mackey's boy yeah yeah but proceed proceed so he's eating the brisket sandwich
he's and he's surprised
by the results yeah he goes and he sees that it's somehow a 101 percent victory
that andrew cuomo has
gotten negative votes this time he did not vote for her himself or so whatever
and he's gonna look at
that and say oh wait a minute what would happen if he took the wheel for real
and maybe he does have
the first ever one week presidency term zora he'd probably still get more than
the whole fucking
republican machine is right now at this point i'm like can we bring back gridlock
can we bring back
congressional gridlock we bring back the filibuster even though we did you know
what i'm saying the big
beautiful disgusting fucking horrible bill you mean eric don't fucking joke
about it right now one minute
monologue as earnest as you can be about the future having to deal with this
um all right so things are not going so good right now from my vantage point
politically
and i'm reading every day about different bills you know i'm always up to date
on the bills that are
coming through then one day i stumbled upon this big beautiful one and i read
about it and uh if
you're not aware it's um a disgusting uh piece of legislature that should be uh
burned
and um there's you know what there's there's not even room to be funny it's
time to it's time to break
down we need every person that voted democrat across the world right now to
fall to their knees
if you had one vote one chance to represent yourself and put your voice into an
electoral system
right who would you cast it right or would you or would you let it die on the
vine
we need every single democrat right knee right now to fall to their knees and
begin to cry
you know what i mean we haven't had time for grief yet we've been too busy
trying to fight
but it's time to fall to your knees and begin to weep for what's happened to
america let yourself feel
the grief there's no coming back from this there's no coming back there's no
building back better
you see what i'm saying vote blue no matter what vote blue no matter what
that's gonna be the call you know i would say h
