Aviation | Ep. 136

I fly like paper, get high like planes.
If you catch me in the border, I got visas in my name.
If you come around here, what is the next part?
I'll make it all day.
Certified lover boy making my name.
All I want to do is meat and making myself nut.
Sucking on my own nipple and I snuck from the front.
Come to my house and have some lunch.
34 years old, freestyling like a G.
Like a cunt.
Oh, Eric.
Depending on the country.
Wow.
All right.
Welcome to Joy Tactics.
The podcast dedicated to all things joyful, joyous,
and meeting as many celebrities as humanly possible.
Hosted by Eric Rahill, Nate Veroni, and Jack Bensinger.
Enjoy.
Wow.
La la la.
Wait till we talk about aviation.
Ba-doom-be-dee-dee-dee-dee-dee-dee.
Yay.
Okay.
All right.
That's the second intro.
How about we do...
Let's do a couple more, right?
Yeah.
We should just keep this going.
Da-na-na-na-na-na.
Na-na.
Well, that one's not got lyrics, does it?
It's the heart of aviation.
It's more of just a melody.
Nate, where's your intro, man?
I'm literally just trying to think of a good song to just pop off on.
Oh, right.
It should be related to flying.
Right.
Yeah, I'm trying to think of one.
Fly.
Gotta stay.
Fly.
Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.
Right.
I'm talking about that on Joy.
Tag, tag, tag, tick, tick, tick, tick, six.
Oh, Jack, you know what really made me laugh?
What's the Mac Miller song that we love so much?
The Spins?
What's this?
This song.
This song.
Remember listening to this when we were trying to come up with Summer 2021?
When we did all those pictures for Maddie Secret this weekend,
every time they're taking pictures of you,
they have like an iPad playing music.
And one of the songs,
I was like watching Kate Berlant get her picture taken,
and they're blasting that song.
And it just is like funny to be like,
damn, the Spins is hitting,
and I'm serving.
What were they playing during your,
They kept it silent.
No, I did hear Queens of the Stone Age.
I did hear Queens of,
I was like Queens of the Stone Age,
I'm going to please.
Dude, I can fucking pose to that there.
Imagine you're the lead singer of the Queens of the Stone Age,
and you're getting veneers in,
and the doctor goes,
you want to hear some music while this is going down?
Your own song fucking comes on while your nubs are getting shaved off.
My life is incredible.
Oh.
Do you guys know this band?
This band called AJR?
I know all bands.
A-J-R?
Jesus.
Do you know that?
No.
What do you want me to think about that?
I never heard that.
That's what I was asking to play for me.
I was like,
can you put on a World Smallest Violin by AJR,
and let me fucking kick it?
Hmm.
How was your posing, though,
at the red carpet, Eric?
Do you have your poses down?
Of course I have them down, man.
That doesn't take much.
It is so funny doing,
I mean,
I've had now two experiences my whole life,
doing this in the last three weeks.
One for the paper and for this,
and it's like,
you just can tell they do not,
they don't give a fuck.
It's like,
if you're not the two names that they care about in the thing.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Hey, good to see you.
How was it working on this thing, man?
Why do they have so many photographers?
Like, why can't they all just, like, share one?
Like, don't you think it'd be easier if they had one person,
one camera,
and then they just sent it to all the outlets, you know?
Like, why do they have to have?
You would think so.
You would think that it would just consolidate it, you know?
It's all about getting the fucking macro shot
because the people who are running the event,
they want people to see that there's photographers there.
So they're hiring photographers with fake fucking cameras
that just put people holding flashes going, going, going,
oh, my God,
look at how crazy the red carpet was.
See what I'm saying?
So who's actually?
I think this ecosystem is being held up by basically rubber bands and string
because it's, like, I can't imagine.
Maybe in, like, the 90s, in the 80s,
this was, like, people were really, like,
going to the grocery store, getting a tabloid,
and, like, looking at, damn, who was it?
Who was where?
But this is, like, oh, guess what?
You know what looks like a red carpet that, real quick,
just that feels like it did in the 90s is the one for Cannes.
Oh, that's where, you mean when they're doing Stav?
Like, when they're just, like, I don't know.
Or that was Venice Film Festival.
It feels like there's all the, just, like, the red carpet there feels like a
red carpet.
It's legit.
It feels legit.
It feels like there's, like, tons of people and, like, all these,
and everyone's, like, stoked about the movies and the people that are there.
How badly do you guys want to be getting out of a gondola in Venice for a film
festival?
Just in general.
Getting out of a gondola, trying not to show the chub.
Because your girl's been sitting on the lap.
Whoops.
No.
It's just the way the water moves.
The motion of the ocean.
Oh, here's what I was going to say.
I don't know if this is common, but I did get some free swag.
Nate, you in particular would, bro, there was just one event sponsored by
Canada Goose.
And they have all these, you get to the rack and they're like, which one do you
like?
And you're like, I like this one.
They're like, all right, give me your address.
Give me your size.
I thought Canada Goose was a liquor, a vodka.
Oh, you wanted the Grey Goose?
Grey Goose.
No, Canada, bro, Canada Goose jackets, you know how much these cost?
Wait, they gave you a fucking, a full winter coat?
Yeah.
You're kidding.
It's like hella, they're like 2000, they're like crazy.
Yeah.
Are you serious?
So you have a, you have a full winter jacket?
Yeah.
And then I also got sorrel boots.
Oh.
Winter boots, sorrel.
Hey, I don't know what sorrel boots are, but let me ask you about that jacket,
man.
Was it brown?
You see what I'm saying?
Why?
Was the coat, was the coat brown?
That's all I got to say.
Yeah, the coat is kind of brown.
Why?
A brown coat.
Sounds like you're about to say something political.
Well, how'd you notice?
How did you notice?
Oh, wait, man.
Because if somebody hands me a product, I'm going to get my Bain Capital
Investment Scanner
out immediately.
It's like a, when you check for fake diamonds, but it checks for unethical
corporate overlords.
So, yeah, I'm not rocking.
Dude, I'm about to get fucking, I'm about to get clowned for it.
Yeah, yeah, you know, you know me, I am.
Thank you to LG for that tune.
In the studio, cooking up the LG dishwasher ending.
Diddy.
Dr. Dre and Diddy.
Look, it just needs to be like three notes.
Dishes are clean.
Come get your spoons and plates.
We need a vocal track over that shit.
Come get your dishes.
They are so clean.
From the LG technology.
Team.
Team.
Cut a hole in this thing.
Dishwasher glory hole.
Put it on in.
All right, enough.
How's your dick?
No, enough.
I know I started it, but I'm dirty.
But I take it back.
Is your dick dirty?
Let me clean that dick for you.
Jesus Christ.
All right.
All right.
This is enough, man.
This is.
All right.
Well, here's what I want to say, if I may.
So on the red.
How funny is it that on the red carpet, they give you a horrifying swag sent
straight from
the depths of hell of the ruling class.
What I'm waiting for and what I'm going to start as soon as my short film comes
out, say
it with me.
The blue carpet.
You understand?
Where everybody's handed ethically sourced sativa.
Everybody's handed fucking bagels with those shit scooped out already so that
there's no
carbs.
Oh, shit.
Pre-scooped ethical bagels.
Motherfucking solar powered, you know, water picks.
You know what I'm saying?
Wow.
The blue carpet.
Every camera is fucking carpet.
The glass carpet.
You know what they need to do, by the way?
You're talking about that little scanner that checks to see if the diamonds are
real and
checks to see if the clothing.
Yeah.
It needs to be for if your clothing is made from fast fashion.
Nate, do you know that the kid that you hired for your short, this isn't going
to be
heard by them, right?
Probably not, but maybe.
You never know.
Say it.
Whatever.
Basically, he was giving out cards.
Him and his dad, very sweet people giving out his cards at the end, as a lot of
child
actors do, is they go and give, they have like a little card with their headshot
and like
what they do on it.
It's a business card.
The DP, it's a business card.
They'll give it to like.
He's hustling.
A hell of a people.
Hustle culture.
But one of the point, one of his bullet points was like ethical fashion model,
or it
was like non-fast fashion.
Anti-fast fashion model.
So he will model for you.
Oh, I didn't know that was a category.
But if that shit is made fastly, in a fashion way, it's not being worn by him.
Okay?
Can it be made speedily, but ethically as well?
You know what I'm saying?
It can be.
Because somebody stitched it together.
I want to get a little, if I'm going to shop at Zara again, would you brace my
heart that
I can't shop there every fucking day for all my pieces.
I want a note written from the man or woman or child in Jakarta that's making
it that says,
here's what I had for lunch.
Here's what time I showed up.
Here's my energy level.
This is how much sleep I got.
And this is how much I have in savings.
And if I read that card and it isn't a two-hour lunch and started at 10 a.m.
and left at
3 p.m.
And they don't have a good work-life balance, I'm shredding that shit.
I'm not putting that on my body.
I had sort of a stand-up joke that I'd never have done, but it's sort of based
on this.
And it's just like, they're banning porn or OnlyFans in China.
And I was like, man, these are the people that deserve to fucking crank it.
You know what I'm saying?
If they spent fucking 20 hours making labooboos all day, let a bitch crank it.
Crank one off, please.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying, dude?
Those are the people that deserve to fucking be cranking that shit to some
premium porn.
We need to smuggle Riley Reid into the country.
And I don't know what we do after that, but change it from the inside.
You see what I'm saying?
We need to have like a sphere.
What if there was a communal bus zone?
You have a sphere in one of them fucking high-tech Chinese cities.
And it has like the whole city gets to watch one porn together.
And you can all congregate in sort of the nut gardens.
The John King nut gardens?
Oh, wow.
You're talking about destigmatizing sexual synergy as well.
Exactly, man.
Do not nut and shame.
I encourage you.
I keep eating a communal butt with Will Blunderfield.
The Will Blunderfield fucking Shanghai nut gardens.
So, okay.
Aviation.
Oh, yeah.
I forgot.
Wait, I got to go pee.
You guys start the topic for sure.
No, no, no.
Let's go back.
So, Nate.
I got to check something important.
Favorite type of plane?
Tell me now.
A Boeing 736, of course.
No, I don't know any type of plane.
You don't like the Boeing 737 Maxes?
No.
What's the one that has like the door that fell off?
Boeing 37.
Wait.
Was it the 737?
It's the Boeing 737 Max 8.
Jesus.
Wait.
Are planes kind of light?
The accidents and grounding costs cost Boeing an estimated $20 billion in fines
and legal fees
and more than $60 billion from 1,200 canceled orders.
Damn.
737 Max 8.
This shit is the death trap.
I mean, it feels like that's like the only plane that like, what other fucking
planes are there?
Does Boeing has like a monopoly?
What other brands are there?
What's like the fucking Hyundai?
Airbus.
You're telling me you've been on an Airbus?
I've never been on a fucking Airbus.
Oh, you've definitely been on an Airbus.
I bet you, when you went to London, I bet you were on an Airbus.
I'm talking in plane brands.
Yeah, we need some new plane brands, dude.
We need a, what's the, we need some Toyota.
Honestly, Toyota, get in the fucking aviation industry, please.
Because like, whatever they're doing with the Highlander, whatever they're
doing with the Camry,
put that fucking technology, the fucking Toyota Camry technology in the air
