welcome back to the pod people have been really i mean i've seen many comments
since our
our last one get rachel back we're desperate for rachel do you feel like my
episodes were
particularly fire i think so i think that was a good era because we were doing
the i think we did the
martha's vineyard because there's something that feels like you sitting there
wearing a crown
eating pudding smacking on smacking on pudding saying like call me fuck i want
to say welcome
back man wait did you guys like think my episodes was awesome there's something
that's like making
me laugh about how kind of feral you've become kind of strutting in with swag i
guess that's the
british way and and you you are wearing a christmas crown festive crown okay i'm
at a christmas party
upstairs everyone downstairs getting completely knackered knackered pissed
pissed on my knob
i hope the drunkest person from that party some british bloke comes out and
just like i can get
him that's the shit a blaze oh please do that he wants to talk about birmingham
alabama
birmingham birmingham oh mate he's a builder oh he's a he's a he's a slay it
what do you call that
british a builder a builder a mopper no he's a stacker i'm a stacker i stack it
welcome to joy tactics
the podcast dedicated to all things joyful joyous and meeting as many
celebrities as humanly possible
hosted by eric rayhill nate veroni and jack bensinger enjoy um so you're
hanging out with british
blue collar workers because another bloke just came in and said i make paper
yeah but he's not blue
collar he makes paper for hermes like if you get a birkin and then you the
paper that the bag is
wrapped in he makes it oh okay yeah that changes things big time but this is my
first christmas party
ever yeah i've never celebrated christmas
wow i think you've been to my house for a christmas party don't say that i don't
remember
that it was in bed style oh i do remember that but you're jewish yeah that's
true but was it when
you were living with stelta and eric yeah yeah that's tough well are you
feeling the christmas spirit
definitely it's so awesome here are bells ringing and is there snow on the
ground upon the ground
there's actually no snow but i was just in ohio nate
oh that's right you were in the cleave cleveland right for the connor special
yes and there was a lot
of snow it was actually kind of incredible
damn where'd you go did you do anything fun there no besides the show seriously
not
i got electrolysis you know you guys know what that is of course my my my uh
dead aunt uh used to be
like electrolysis really yeah rest your rest your soul how did she pass
uh lung cancer crap yeah well do you know what electrolysis is yeah it's like
uh it's like
the plucking hairs out of your face yeah so basically there's a woman really
close to your
face 10 i've only had women could be whoever they stick a needle into your hair
follicle
they electrocute it so the hair follicle dies and your hair falls out and then
they pluck the hair
oh that's what you did your head isn't that mate's not yeah that's what i do
every day to the top of my
head by the way yeah do you think i would die if they did a full body electrolysis
on me
like every hair on my chest yeah every hair on my arm like that would i think i
would pass away
thicker and longer the hairs are the more painful it is and it is oh really
painful
i would have a seizure if they did like one square inch of my body i do
sometimes make her stop because
i'm worried i'm gonna have a heart attack
wait i'm so sorry what's wrong what can i plug a show because i think
yeah i tell you can i tell you about a show while plugging it
please i'm worried i made a horrible mistake because i did book a show
basically week of
booked a stand-up show in richmond the day the night after christmas why did
you do that
by the way because i wanted to connect with the people of richmond
and are you leaving town the next day no no no i understand yeah please plug it
well please god go to that because i think it's a 70 person there's like 70
seats i think i've maybe
sold 10 tickets so far and god if i have to do a show for
how just my family from arlington it's insanely close probably two hours
all right i'll tell my cousin nothing all right perfect can i plug a show oh
wait it's at the
coalition theater i should say that much what time god knows but it might be 7
30
that's awesome um i have a show plug plug plug that thing i'm doing a crowd
work show in london
january 8th at the free association improv theater unfortunately whoa the free
association improv theater
yes yes i work queen i think it's at seven are you gonna be taping clips i mean
what's going down
here legit there's actually a big secret about the show that i'm not ready to
talk about
wow that's cool no it's like kind of the concept
oh okay that's a great set that's a great promo thank you thank you should we
be putting out hella
should we be putting out hella clips rachel of our stand-up because i don't
think you might have
like one or something but i don't have any clips i mean i think artistically it's
better not to put
clips out i think i just had a clip go viral congrats thank you got a thousand
got a thousand to
1500 followers it's not wow that's large but then it also went viral on tiktok
and youtube
okay one the same clip going viral it's universal but i think it's universal
because i talk about
how tight my vagina is i see and a lot of people have a lot of stuff to respond
about that so you
reckon me and nate could do something similar there hello my vagina is tight
sir yeah i feel like i have
a tight asshole you think there's some you there's something there i think
definitely just talk about
it yeah all right i think my shit is fucking tight dude does your do yeah just
because the fuck the way
the way the farts be sounding i'm wondering it's not it's not like an air it's
not like a open air
sort of like you know it's like that part is desperate to come out of that
right bitch dude well
does your shit come out like a line like it's being like like a 3d printer yeah
yeah yeah yeah
yeah it's a one long string what if you could shit like cookie cutter shapes
like if you could put
like a funnel you know when you make cookies different shapes now we're talking
just an idea
that would be nice yeah yeah that could be your clip good clip yeah we gotta we
gotta be doing
podcasting clips we don't do any we don't do any you guys put out clips don't
you we like stopped
doing that like a year ago or something no you gotta get back on it what are
your goals for this pod
would have you heard the intro to be joyful joyous and me as many celebrities
as humanly possible
yeah well when are you gonna get jayla on the pod jayla jaylo jaylada no jay jaylada
um probably it's not even about that we just want to meet them we don't want to
get them on the pot
right okay hello good to meet you hello nice to meet you hello damn are you
gonna do crowd work in
fucking british yeah do you has your british gotten way better yeah well i
learned a lot of slang
i'm creasing mate that girl is clapped
clapped not really supposed to say that ugly
she's fucking proper clapped she's a rotter
she's a rotter she's ugly i pretty much have no different ways to say women are
ugly
did they say busted out there not really they say um i just learned another one
too
oh she's real quick she's a minger she's a minger i like that that's british
now what the fuck is that
that i don't know she's a rotter i heard the word you know i feel like eric is
the one who started
saying busted a lot and i never hear it in the wild and i heard it in um i
think it was like christmas
with the cranks or something i was watching some holiday some like busted like
holiday movie
and they said in it it was i forget which actor oh it'll come to me but he was
like describing his
wife's tits and he was like she's got some busted tits and i was like that was
like the first time i've
heard that word in the wild is that billy bob thornton christmas with the cranks
no that's bad
santa which i did watch actually very recently bad santa is incredible what's
the vibe
it's um well most holiday movies are about holiday cheer right they're about
the joy of christmas
right but this one is about there's a lot of pain with the holidays oh my god i
think that spoke to
those people that are like you know what i don't like christmas christmas is
painful for me and i think
the bad santa character absorbs that emotional state and i think that's why it
was such a gigantic
colossal cultural moment in america that's amazing
movies we're talking about credit card points today oh right right right
well what can i hear what jack was gonna say yeah sorry jack was it worth
saying yeah
um oh i think i was just gonna say that movies often forget the responsibility
that they have
in a way that music does not that's really interesting i think music does a
better job of
meeting you where you are and expressing what you're feeling yeah but songs are
so short songs
are so short that if you forget why you're making a song it's you did you made
a really bad song
if only there was a middle ground that was in between the length of a three
minute song
and a three hour film that was musical like a 12 minute a 12 minute feature
length
short no because it's not talking about but i hear you but i hear you
i'm saying a 45 minute long musical
so begins the perfect medium do you guys think you could write a me i actually
wrote a musical
and performed it when the fuck did you do that 2017 i wrote a musical with um
some brooklyn comics
about puppets that have eating disorders oh well one of my favorite bits that
you do is like
isn't it like the hamilton like you oh yeah sometimes i just play the hamilton
i play the
hamilton song uh with like without words and i just scream over it because i
went to the same
um high school and college as lin-manuel miranda and i find different ways to
talk about how much that
has ruined my life but actually i can't talk about this never mind wait wait we
know what we have to
talk about is timothy chalamet has your love because you are one of the biggest
timothy
chalamet fans but he's pissing me off right now wow whoa it's too much whoa he's
on drewski
whoa but he's got a fucking movie to promote man he's got a fucking a24 movie i've
never seen
anything like this i think have you no i i i don't what do you mean what let's
list it off
he's going on drewski he's rapping in videos he's standing he's walking every
celebrity is wearing
a jacket and then he posts it he's on different the different tallest buildings
in the world
he's basically taking up airspace at this point while we're at war with
different countries
you think he should put the fucking camera down and pick up a weapon maybe
maybe or advocate for peace maybe a sign for peace instead
but i mean i love him and i i'm sure i haven't seen the movie yet but i've
heard it's basically the
best thing ever you don't think that he's waiting for when he gives the oscar
speech
to find that you think he's gonna win uh yeah he's up against leo leo leonardo
i'm recording a podcast
hello huh
you can't but i know this is your room
how are you coming in to also record i hope that more people come in to record
individual podcasts
in this room well everyone knows i'm recording a podcast was she british no she's
actually argentinian
it's an international body wow is this on right yeah whoa your life right now i
mean this in a
positive way yeah it's reminding me of like 2012 chicago whoa because i'm in a
i'm at a house party
recording a podcast international podcast house
yeah i mean definitely
here's what i want to here's what i want to say about timothy chalamet just in
in defense of him and this this
he's trying to get butts in seats in the theater and he i think he understands
how hard that is right
now and thank god who what
