We ready? Okay. Well, this should be pretty exciting. Our next guest joined us
a couple
of months ago on the show to sing a song from their hit album, What Up Dog? And
they've
come back here tonight with a friend to sing another song that appears only on
the CD version
of the same album. Singing now Wedding Vows in Vegas, ladies and gentlemen,
please welcome
Was Not Was and Frank Sinatra Jr.
Plastic flowers in her hair Don't they make a lovely pair
Met last night at the slot machines Him in leathers, her in jeans
All night preacher does the ceremony His wife throws minute rice, her tears are
phony
But wedding vows in Vegas Aren't meant to last for ages
Gotta be courageous To play the odds that love will win
Whatever city you're in
Polaroid's an extra twenty Shoot the works, man, we've got plenty
Witness is another ten Thanks a heap and come again
Check in check in Check in to some strip love nest
Nothing ever but the best
But wedding vows in Vegas Aren't meant to last for ages
You gotta be courageous To play the odds that love will win
Whatever city you're in
How can this be Ice-cold Champlain Cable TV Continental breakfast free
Maybe then it's you and me It's you
The buffet dinner Nothing but the best Check in to some strip love nest
What wedding vows in Vegas Aren't meant to last for ages
You gotta be courageous To play the odds that love will win
Whatever city you're in
Whatever city you're in

What the hell is that love will win?
What the hell is that love?
What the hell is that love?
Very nice Hi Frank, pleasure to meet you
Have a seat sir How do you do?
Good You know that's a great sound isn't it?
I'm rapidly becoming a big underground success
Well good for you
Who among this group, I know we explained this the last time, who is was and
who is not was and who shouldn't be here altogether?
Well I think that means all of us
But the fact is no, the two guys in the back here
This is was not was here
These are the renegades
Uh huh
Yeah, and the fellas in the front
They are the guys that you hear primarily on the album
It sounds terrific
Now how did you get involved with this?
I got involved with it David, I was at home in Los Angeles one day and an agent
who we deal with in Chicago
Very nice man by the name of Tom Cassidy, Chicago there, called me up and he
said are you sitting down?
And I said why should I be?
He said there's a rock band that wants to record with you
I said with me?
Yeah
He said yeah, and I said wait a minute till I sit down
And he said are you sure they have the right guy that they wanted?
He said yeah, yeah, and he said he said what do I tell him?
I said ask him to send the material and I liked the song
Yeah, it sounds great
And we recorded it
Are you thinking uh would you be interested in doing more of this kind of thing?
I'd work with Don and Dave and the fellas anytime
More work in the future here do you think guys?
If they want an Italian singer, you know
Uh, and so uh what are you up to now? Where are you working here?
I'm appearing right now David at the Atlantis Hotel down in Atlantic City
We finish uh the day after tomorrow on Saturday and they were kind enough to
allow me to come up to visit you and my friends here
And I'm happy you're here
Well we're happy you're here
Is it also true or did I mishear something that you're working with uh uh Liza
Minnelli and your father and whomever else is on the big show?
Yes, I am the conductor of the orchestra for the Sinatra section of the uh
Ultimate Event Show
Is that a nice job?
It's a learning experience
A learning experience
You making any money at it?
Uh most of it goes to travel and everything else as it turns out but no it's a
good job
Does your father ever mention my name?
Does he mention your name?
Have you ever heard dad say
He said to me one night he said you know I like that kid that's on late at
night
You know that it comes out of New York
Close enough
He said but I think uh when he goes away
His wife would get the same sensation running her fingers through a billow pad
I don't even know what that means
We'll uh be right back here
We're late good night everybody thanks for being here
