I can safely say and I hope most things call my window home.
They'll be happy ever ending.
Down in Southern Africa, no happy ever after.
Let now but soon, forever.
For the singing cold I bleed in that white winter sea.
How can I believe that I feel forever ending?
In this little South Africa.
So don't ask me why.
I'm running out of laughter.
There's tears in these eyes.
Not happy ever after.
And I thought it was plain to see.
And I thought, oh maybe you and me.
I'm running out of laughter.
I'm running out of laughter.
Humbae, Humbae.
Humbae, Humbae.
Humbae.
You say that South Africa.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Humbae.
Is the South Africa?
That was great.
Thank you very much.
Very, very beautiful sound.
Very, what's the word I need to describe this?
Melodic.
Fantastic, wonderful.
Fantastic, yeah, it was very nice.
And then he had one of these.
At one point in the song, one of the backup ladies did this.
Now listen, you won't believe me, but she wasn't going to do it,
because I mean, you know, quite a bit of stress over from Britain doing the
first TV.
And I said, look, the poor girl, she can't live standing there doing this for
this.
And then when we didn't hear it, we went backstage and we heard, we missed it.
I said, look, the show can't go on without the...
You know, this is also...
What do you call this device?
It's called a vibra-slap.
A vibra-slap?
Yeah.
And it also generates organ gas, did you?
And it's good for scaring raccoons out of your crawlspace.
I've never seen one of these before.
You haven't.
Paul, have you ever worked with one of these?
Absolutely.
Well, let's add one to the permanent group here.
Yeah, of course.
I want one of these here every night.
You know what that girl to play it?
And we can have her...
Zetia to play it.
We're a very small feat.
You sounded terrific.
Thank you.
And the album's doing great?
The album's doing pretty great.
It's only just come out here, but it's kind of like gone silver at home.
Can you come back here tomorrow night and every night?
Yes.
All right, good.
Okay.
I'm going to move in.
I've got my own room and everything.
Well, we'll look forward to that.
Thank you very much.
Oh, boy.
I want to thank everybody who was here.
Ms. Fordham, Gene Hackman, and Robert McCoy.
Tomorrow night, ladies and gentlemen, George Miller, Ernest Borgnine, and Darlene
Love.
