-Ahh. -Ouch.
-You know, this morning when I got to work
and I read about the, uh, missile strike there in Iraq
and because of the election by Dole and, uh, Kemp
and President Clinton and, uh, his running mate, uh, uh, Al Gore,
I said to myself -- -Who said --
-Hey! What are you doing in your pluky face, babbo?
Dolly skin, you nick maroochy, eh?
You nick maroochy!
Hey! Skaggy boy, blifty boy, do that again!
And I'll stick a bottle of me on Jackson next time, okay?
-Holy cow.
-Oh. -Is that a Canadian?
-It was Gaelic, I think. -Odd.
-Speaking Gaelic. -Odd.
-Ladies and gentlemen, please, if you're in the audience,
remain in your seats, okay?
I don't need to wrestle with you folks up here on stage as well.
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.
So anyway, uh, recent cuts in the United States defense budget
are illustrated by this photo of a top-level Pentagon official
launching yesterday's attack on Iraq.
Look at that guy.
Oh, no, it's this guy.
What are you doing?
I can't believe it!
You're standing here robbing a pile of cake,
never think it's a monkey's toast about it,
and I'm wearing here for my richie!
Eh?
So what?
You gonna give me some doche?
Give me some money?
Give me some baby, eh?
I-- I'm sorry, I don't--
I didn't catch much of that.
I'm--
Okay, I'll consider it.
Give me a call the first of next week.
Thank you very much.
Yeah, take your bad part, I'll have you.
I say so now.
Oh.
Man.
Odd, ain't it?
Wow.
That's odd.
Paul Schreiber is from the orchestra, ladies and gentlemen.
Paul Schreiber over there.
-I say it's so new! -Oh, man.
Odd, ain't it? -Wow.
-That's odd.
-Paul Schreiber is here for the orchestra, ladies and gentlemen.
Paul Schreiber over there.
Mira Sorvino is on the program.
-Hey! Hey! You! Hey, look! Hey! Look out!
-Yeah! Look at that! Look at that!
-Yeah. -I should say, "Maruti bottle."
'Cause there's no "Ruti" in it, is that it?
Hey? That's "Tory and Jelly Thief."
Hey, Paul. How you doing? You all right?
-How are you? Nice to see you. I'm fine, thank you.
-Yeah, I'm nice to see you, honey. -We've got to get together.
-Oh, yeah. I thought I saw you. -Let's dance.
-Tory and Bandit. -Let's dance.
-I say you know you're way in!
-Okay. Okay. -Wow.
-So you -- you know him.
-He seems to have a problem with you. I know him.
-I'm fine with him. -He's very fond of you.
You guys get along fine.
-Yeah. -I'm the idiot in this one.
-Problem with him.
-A lovely, lovely image there.
Vincent Perez will be here with us in a moment.
Also on the program tonight, back tomorrow on the show.
Whoopi Goldberg will be here.
Al Franken, the author of "Rush Limbaugh is a Big Fat Idiot."
Oh, oh, oh, no.
-Carry on. -Yeah.
Whoopi Goldberg --
Whoopi Goldberg.
-Say it, man!
You're a type of flunkie!
Flussed my route into the sunkey, didn't you, eh?
Eh?
Think I'm the wise?
I may see you in the bog, right?
So I'll see you inside, son.
And you're laughing out.
You wouldn't be laughing outside, won't you, eh?
Any day in the week.
What could take you, son?
Eh?
Okay.
Cute, isn't he?
Al Franken and Ron Severson, the human echo.
That's the program tomorrow.
We've got to go all the way again.
We'll be right back with Vincent Perez, ladies and gentlemen.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, there you go.
That's the big program tonight.
Before we leave, my thanks to Ewan Bremner.
He can also be seen as Spud in the motion picture Train Spotting,
