Letter number three, hey Dave, I just had to know how many light bulbs are in
the skyline.
Tim McConaughey, Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
Well, well, Tim, Tom, Tom, Tom, you're going to find out tonight
because we will announce the winner of our guess how many light bulbs are in
the skyline contest.
Paul, here we go.
As you know, three months ago, we asked you, the home viewers,
to guess the number of light bulbs we use in that beautiful skyline behind me.
The winner will receive a Late Show t-shirt, two free tickets to the Late Show,
and dinner for two at any participating TGI Fridays.
All right, the magic moment is at hand, Paul.
Please open the envelope, announce the winner.
Well, actually, Dave, there is no envelope.
Nobody entered the contest.
Really? Nobody entered the contest?
Sorry.
Huh. Is that right? Nobody?
I'm sorry.
Excuse me, Dave?
Yes?
Are you saying there were zero entries in your contest?
Well, boy, is my face red, but apparently Paul Schaefer indicates nobody
actually entered the contest.
Well, William Brooks of Cincinnati, Ohio, congratulations.
You're the winner of the Tony Mendez Guess How Many People Are Going to Enter
Dave's Stupid Contest Contest.
William!
William!
William, you get zero, and that means you and your friend are spending a week
in beautiful, sundressed, Cancun.
Vaya con Dios, William.
Back to you, Dave.
Hey.
Hey.
Hey.
Hey.
Hey, Dave.
Oh, hi, Biff.
What's up?
I've got a contest, too.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah.
It's called Biff Henderson's Who Can Do the Lamest Kid About a Contest Contest.
You can't see it.
Yeah, Jack. Hey, hey!
It's Jackass.
I'm sorry, I really...
Ah, slip of the tongue?
Slip of the tongue.
Ah, Sarah.
Are you sorry? That's alright, that's alright.
Nah, man, you don't know.
No, I know, I know you don't know.
I know you don't know.
Okay, don't take it so hard, it's fine.
I do.
No, no, you shouldn't, it's fine.
I understand it was a mistake.
Well, it was Jackasses, I'm saying to that.
I know.
Yeah, I know.
Viv, an excellent rehearsal, we'll get it right for the show, don't worry.
