Is your cat making you sneeze?
Friday on Today in New York.
Welcome, Dak.
Welcome back to Paul.
Our topic today, should an acquitted serial killer
be allowed to have his own talk show?
Our guest is David Letterman.
Here, I got somebody over here.
Yes, what would you like to say?
Do you believe that your aberrant behavior
is the result of a chemical imbalance?
And if so, do you believe that behavior
can be induced in a lab?
Paul, did I miss a memo or a meeting?
Just answer the question, sir.
Just answer the question.
No, it wasn't a chemical imbalance.
It was blunt force trauma to the head.
And stick around.
There may be a little more of that here tonight.
All right, here we have somebody.
Yes, you over here.
What do you have to say?
I just want to tell you how much I love your show.
Well, thank you.
We try.
Thanks a lot.
Dave, my question to you is,
I know it's a long time ago,
and I know you were acquitted,
but are you sorry for what you did?
Ma'am, you have no idea how sorry I am.
Thank you.
Hey, there's somebody over there.
Here, we have a question over here.
What do you have to say?
Well, I don't know if this will help,
but when I feel like killing somebody,
I count to 10 first.
And I think if we would all count to 10 first,
maybe there wouldn't be any killing in this world.
Yeah, yeah.
We're back in a moment.
I like that big nerdy guy at the end.
That giant bearded dweeb,
he was my favorite.
Yeah, there he is right there.
Later in the show,
Shakespeare's sister will be here,
and also coming up,
actress Bonnie Hunt tomorrow,
Patty Smythe.
Smythe?
Smythe?
Yeah.
And Gore Vidal.
We'll be right back, boys and girls.
Thank you.
Thank you, thank you, everybody,
and welcome back.
Welcome back to Paul.
And our topic today,
should a well-known disciple of Satan
be allowed to host his own talk show?
My guest is David Letterman.
Do we have any questions?
Yes, I see a question over here.
Yes, dear.
What is your question?
Excuse me.
Yes, Dave.
How long have you known Satan?
And also, what is hell like?
You know, I don't really know Satan,
and hell is probably just about
like this comedy piece,
but maybe with more laughs.
Okay, thank you.
There, I see a hand up there.
Hang on.
Yeah, hi.
Hi, dear.
How are you doing?
What's your question?
I have a question for you, Paul.
Great.
When are you going to have another show
on UFOs and weight loss?
You know, we had a lot of great feedback
from that show.
Check your local listings for part two.
Hey, excuse me, Paul.
I have a question about topics for shows.
What about job opportunities
for Canadian musicians at CBS?
We have time for one more question over here.
We do have a question right here.
Yes, sir.
What's your question?
I think there's a point here
that we're all overlooking.
Just because you have satanic voices in your head
doesn't mean you have to listen to them.
I know from experience.
I think you should be the best you you can be.
See you next week on PAW!
Okay, we have to pause again.
We'll be right back with Timothy Hutton.
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
