Susan Lucci seems like a very nice woman, doesn't she?
And I could watch her shrug her shoulders all night.
- Not that right. - Hi, kids.
How are you? Hi.
Hi.
These folks right here are students from public schools.
We have kids from School 105 and also 200 right here in Brooklyn, New York.
And they have with them tonight interesting items for tonight's edition of Show
& Tell.
Hi. Hi, kids.
- Hi. - Hi.
Let's try it one more time. This time, just add "Hi, Dave."
You want to try that?
Hi, kids.
- Hi, Dave.
What do you think, Morty? Saturday mornings, 9 o'clock?
All right. Let's see who the first person is.
I've scrambled my cards. Have you ever done that?
Albert Messina. Albert? Which one is Albert?
Hi, Albert. How are you?
Nice to see you, sir.
How old are you, Albert?
- Seven. - Seven years old.
And which school do you attend?
- PS 200. - So you're from 200.
Albert. Now, do you know the other folks here at all?
- Yes. - Okay.
What grade are you in, Albert?
- Second. - Second grade.
And this is a little something that you took in for Show & Tell?
Who's your teacher there?
- This is Patrick. - Okay.
And she said, "We're going to have Show & Tell."
And you went home and you said to yourself,
"This is what I'm going to bring in," right?
Okay. Go ahead and show us what it is.
Hi. My name is Albert Messina, and I'm seven years old.
This is my friend Sacco. He's a homemade puppet.
Sees his eyes. He's not the journal.
He can talk, too. You want to see?
Some... Hey, Sacco, some people say that I sound like Peavy Herman.
I mean, I look like Peavy Herman.
Albert, I don't know who you're talking about.
You think you've got problems.
Some people think I'm a sock.
- Yeah.
- Nice job. Very nice.
- Would you like to go into show business one day?
- Yeah, I don't know who you're talking about.
- I don't know who you're talking about.

Our next little friend here, I don't mean little.
I mean our next guest.
You're not little, are you?
I mean you're about the right size you're supposed to be.
- Irene Melodones, is that right?
- Melodonius.
- Melodonius, say that again.
- Melodonius.
- Melodonius.
All right, Irene, and where do you go to school?
- PS 105.
- PS 105, all right, and your show and tell is?
- A rat.
- Okay, a rat.
Let's see what you have there for the rat.
- I have food for him.
- Okay.
So you brought your rat in, it's your pet,
and your rat's name is?
- Damien.
- Damien.
- What does Damien eat?
- He eats any kind of food but meat.
- And he also is a vegetarian.
Yeah.
And you just fed Damien a cookie?
- Yeah.
- Okay, and does Damien do any tricks?
Or I see you have a little outfit for Damien.
- Yeah.
- Yeah, what is the outfit?
- It's a Barbie set.
- Oh, it's a Barbie set.
Well, I hope one day the folks can get you an actual Barbie.
It'll be nice.
All right, is there something else?
Do you have anything else you want to do with Damien?
- Um, not really.
- Okay, well, it was nice meeting you.
Thank you very much for being here.
You must be Danielle of Varialli.
- Yeah.
- Did I get that right?
- Yeah.
- Well, we have two beautiful last names.
Varialli and Melodoniez.
Where do you go to school?
- PS 105.
All right, what do you have here for your show and tell?
- I have a tape that I'm gonna sing.
She's my favorite.
Her name is Debbie Gibson.
The name of the song is "Foolish Beat."
- Okay, this is the Debbie Gibson song entitled
"Foolish Beat."
- "Foolish Beat."
All right, and do we turn it on there?
Are we gonna hear the whole song?
- No, I don't think so.
- You don't think so?
Darn.
Go ahead.
There was a place where broken hearts and broken dreams
move on.
There was a place where all you could do was
wish on a four-leaf glow.
Oh, oh, oh, oh.
Another new song.
There was a new place where you could do it.
Listen, you like Debbie?
Yeah.
She doesn't go to school out there with you, does she?
Wouldn't that be so?
All right.
Is there a Michael Jang?
You must be Michael.
Hi, Michael, good to have you here, sir.
Did I get your last name right?
It's Jang.
- Yeah.
- Where do you go to school?
- PS 200.
- PS what?
200, okay.
So you and the gentleman on the end there
are classmates, right?
- We're in the same class, too.
- Yeah, I just pointed that out.
- I know, I know, I know.
What do you want from me?
I'm a sock.
- Okay.
- All right, all right, Michael.
What do you have there, buddy?
- I have a flashlight.
- A flashlight with a pumpkin on it,
a jack-o'-lantern.
- Yeah, my mom bought it for me.
- Your mom bought that for you?
- Yeah.
- Okay.
- See?
- Yeah.
- Oh, wow.
Okay.
Thank you, Michael.
Ah, that'd be good for stopping cars
on the highway at night, huh?
You know, do one of these.
You kids got beer in there?
Hey.
It's a glowing pumpkin.
- Charles, uh, pronounce your name, Charles.
- Uh, Y-E-P, what, Y-E-P.
- Yeah, how do you, how do you say your last name?
- Yepes.
- Yepes.
Charles, yepes, good to have you with us, Charles.
And where do you go to school?
- PS105.
- PS105, all right.
And have, uh, what do you have here?
Show us what you have there.
You have a milk carton, and, uh...
- Cockroaches.
- Cockroaches.
- You have a roach motel, full of highly toxic chemicals,
and, and, and you have dead, dead, uh, bugs in there.
That one's not quite dead.
You may want to get a refund on that.
Let's, we'll, we'll phone the decon people for you,
because that, that roach is not dead yet.
All right.
Uh, all right, thank you very much, kids.
It's nice having you with us tonight.
Thanks for being here.
- Yeah.
- Goodbye.
Thank you.
All right, we'll do a, uh, station identification.
I'm going to be right back.
