kids mom and daddy all my
brothers and sisters and we had a lot of fun yeah well that's good any of the
relatives get out of
hand was this the first time in show business for some of them well a lot of my
people play and saying
a lot of my brothers and sisters right so it's not really foreign i've been at
this for so long
they're kind of used to it but some of them are more shy than others did you
pay them you yeah they
got paid did they get paid well not well and they got paid scale i guess and

it would be like to be
a reindeer no now let's go look for mr christmas again
tonight tonight we're having a farewell party for one of the staff members paul
no they weren't they they've been here quite some time and i know it's the
holidays and i feel just
terribly about letting him go now but we're all gonna miss frank gannon goodbye
frank good luck to
you frank told me not to do this yes gosh he was a nice guy oh the fun we used
to have with frank
but onward and upward well it wasn't his fault i just thought it'd be fun if we
could just be horny
together yo frank don't think of it so much as a door closing but a door
opening all right okay
now what what will you yourself be doing for the holidays are you working or
you taking off what
are you going to do i'll be home uh for christmas if you're part of the
expression i go up to east
tennessee the smokies what is it like does it get cold in the smokies sometimes
we get snow we don't
get as many snows as we as we used to but uh it gets cold enough it seems like
christmas then on
christmas day i go back to nashville and have christmas there with my husband's
family oh so you
actually have two christmas yeah and your husband's family do you get along
well with them oh very well
yeah i've been in that family for 25 years we get along real good and they don't
mind that you're
show folk no they like it i don't know what that means i think they would be
proud to have you as
part of the family i hope so yeah uh and everything is going well for you
things are in good shape
everything is good we just got all kinds of good things coming up yeah and uh
you're going to sing
a song for us yeah i was hoping that you'd wear the little reindeer ears and
help me but you won't
well i had them on for you but you know what i really didn't bring those for
you those were paul's
those are paul's oh jeez paul i'm sorry can i borrow those oh man i inadvertently
slipped into your uh
antlers they told me you wouldn't wear them when you said that i thought well
all right so paul will
put on the of course we'll put those years on he has to be my partner of course
i will
and dolly partner says a little different deal that's what paul will wear the
antlers but it's
still gannon's last night all right okay uh we're we're gonna do a commercial
when we come back paul
and uh and dolly will be uh performing um you know with the antlers yeah all
right we'll be right back

you're
going to go over there and sing with the band it's going to go and we're just
going to have fun with
it you sure you won't wear these i'll be right over here enjoying it in my own
way well all right
let me go over thank you very much dolly parton ladies and gentlemen here with
the uh girls in the band
about that all rudolph the red-nosed reindeer he had a very shiny nose and if
you ever saw it why you
would even say it glow all of the other reindeer they used to laugh and call
him names they never
let poor rudolph join in any reindeer games until one foggy christmas eve old santa
came to say hey
rudolph with your nose so bright won't you guide my sleigh tonight then how the
reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee without the red-nosed reindeer you'll go down in
history play one
oh
you're gonna scare them
oh and then one foggy christmas eve saturday came sorry about that guys oh rudolph
with your nose so
brother what you got my sleigh tonight then how the reindeer loved him as they
shouted out with glee
oh rudolph the red-nosed reindeer you'll go down in history wait now today when
we were rehearsing i heard
these boys singing rudolph and i thought it might be fun if we just let them
take a course by their self you
you think you can do that rudolph the red-nosed reindeer i've had a very shiny
nose and if you ever saw it
i think you should sing it then and you wouldn't even say it glows sure you won't
join him now david
that poor rudolph
okay that was very good i'm proud of you
oh but you're not getting off that easy david can because he's the star of the
show but i think you
should sing of course would you should sing of course would you help us
everybody oh oh
i don't even say it glows all of the other reindeer you say just a laugh and
call their names they
wouldn't let poor rule go
but you don't even say it glows all of the other reindeer
then one for the christmas eve saddup came to say hey
rudolph with your nose so bright won't you got my smile
then how the reindeer loved you as it shouted out with glee
rudolph the red-nosed reindeer you'll go down in history
oh rudolph the red-nosed reindeer you will go down in history
