I was thinking about this today. Here we are pretty much at the end of the
first week of January, the brand new year 1995. I was thinking about the
holidays. I had a wonderful Christmas. I know Paul had a great Christmas.
And we had a terrific new year. And I hope everybody watching had the very best
of holiday seasons ever this year. And I was thinking, you know what might be
fun is to take a video camera through the offices and chat with various staff
members about how their holidays went. So that's exactly what we did. Watch
this. Here's the staff, folks, talking about the holidays.
Did you get anything interesting for Christmas? A card, a gift, something like
that?
I actually have a nice card here from Larry King.
Oh, look at that. It's a Christmas card of Larry, surrounded by what appear to
be all of his ex-wives.
What was the silliest thing you got?
I got some of this Zima crap. Have you ever tried that?
No, sir. Let me see. Here, hold this.
New Year's was fabulous. I went to the Rainbow Room. I'd never been there
before. And it was great. Beautiful, isn't it? It was gorgeous. And I knew Maureen
McGovern was singing. So I was really excited for the show. My favorite song,
she did not sing.
Well, what is that?
There's got to be a morning after.
Oh, that's your lucky name, Mimi. Maureen, do you mind coming in? Here she is.
There's got to be a morning after. We can hold on through the night. We have a
chance to find the sunshine.
Did you get anything cool for Christmas?
No, we didn't really do anything. We just made a special outfit for the dog.
You and the wife got to get some help.
How was your holiday?
Well, it wasn't so great. Unfortunately, before I left work on Friday, I ate a
tuna sandwich that had been sitting around a little too long.
And for you folks out there who have never had food poisoning, let me show you
what that would be like.
Only with love can we climb. It's not too late, not why we're living.
Everybody was kung fu fighting. Those kids were fast.
This year, I hired a masseuse to come and massage the entire staff.
It's a thoughtful gift.
Yeah, it was a great gift. They massaged everyone, everyone on the staff except
for you.
I thought you could make it up to me by letting me massage you now.
Okay.
Did you get a lot of nice things?
I did.
Yeah, what kind of stuff?
Golf balls.
Get up!
Good morning after, we're moving closer to the shore.
Christmas dinner, I was seated across from my uncle.
He took a big bite of turkey and then a big sip of red wine and then coughed
very explosively all over me and my wife and into my dinner.
Did you do anything special for New Year's Eve?
We just made a special outfit for our dog.
I've seen that outfit somewhere before that looks very, very familiar to me.
Should all the questions be forgotten.
Hey, there's only two minutes left in 94.
There you go.
That's...
Ha, ha.
Yeah!
That's the staff and their holiday stories.
We've got to do another commercial.
We'll be right back.
We'll be right back.
