all right thank you very much Paul our first guest is a renowned culinary
scholar and exotic food
expert please say hello to Arnold Sinclair hi Arnold thank you for being on the
show well I you
know I must say it's a beautiful it's a spectacular array of food that we have
here in it it doesn't
seem you know off-putting I read the list earlier and it sounded a little
strange but this actually
looks pretty tasty how did you start doing this what was the beginning of your
interest in this
well about 12 years ago me and some bunnies were on a hike and long story short
I got separated and
I got lost pretty bad for an entire week I survived not only plants insects and
turtles really and and
from from that you you started cooking and from that you started cooking and
developing recipes and that
sort of thing yeah yeah and is it easy for the average person to find the
things like this no no
you have to go through a wholesaler you know a whole sailor you gotta go
through a wholesaler all right
Arnold let's uh let's begin you have a number exotic items to sample here yeah
here we have a poached brain
of raccoon some chocolate covered grasshoppers now these these are actually as
strange as this
sounds kind of commonplace now aren't they yeah where did you get the uh these
I got in my backyard
so you didn't need the wholesaler no okay uh what else do you have this here is
uh hot and spicy iguana
meatballs iguana meatballs yeah this is uh snake liver tartare oh it's raw so
it's raw yeah wow oh you
know what kind of snake they use there uh I believe it's cobra
and these what are these these are panda nuggets
what are the nuggets
okay all right well let's uh uh can you are you allowed to cook panda sure yeah
let's start with the uh poached brain of okay all right go ahead raccoon you
try
i find these to be quite delicious spread on a rich cracker rich cracker
wow
it's a little bitter at first but it's actually so good
would you like to give it a shot i'll take the taste of it i'll take the taste
of it yeah
thank you very much thank you
you want to wash it down no i don't know you might they want to switch wholesalers
yeah you know i mean it tastes a little it tastes a little uh gamey but you
know it's not bad
it's like liverwurst yeah a little like liverwurst sure um this one you're in
for a real treat okay this
here is chocolate covered grasshopper all right okay what do we do just take a
mm-hmm a lollipop moment
it's candied it's a little hard just melts on your mouth yeah it's not bad it's
delicious

all right this is hot and spicy iguana meatballs iguana meatballs so the iguana
is a a large lizard
they're large they're small they're large
this is hot and spicy
