Ep 445 - Skrimps (feat. Will Compton)

the wild wild west welcome to the podcast hey i'll go grab one i'm gonna grab
one right now
perfect get it going dude you guys get to know each other welcome to the
podcast
boys matt and wilcompton two of the most i'm so happy that's a great debt that
was nasty dude
obviously bros dude it's two thunderclouds you are the best no you two are
gonna be the bros dude
can i get after this i'll get your number we can uh yeah we can group chat it
that'd be awesome
i gotta give a uh dude your guys's show yeah is the best that's crazy you're uh
what's the best
part of the show isn't even the show itself it's the comment section it's the
dogs out there don't
tell these idiots dude i'm telling you i'll like i'll click on your guys just
cut open the dog food
bag dude they're dude sometimes i'll just log on just to see your guys's
comments like you guys had
danny mcbride on which by the way awesome yeah and i saw one of you i saw one
of the dogs that they're
saying like hey uh you know this dog might have to light a candle and uh pull a
bubble bath just to
listen to this you guys's comments no those guys are incredible the ones that
are like shane's nervous
you can tell it's like yeah dude i was nervous obviously that was my that's my
favorite guy of all
time maybe we do have the funniest coolest fans and i like forced them into
doing it well mcbride like
i didn't force them to do it but like i i was like can i do this can we have
this happen and they're
like sure he seemed imagine how he must be he was fine he's he's bored because
all the all the right
striking he was quiet for a little bit when the when the pot opened oh yeah so
was i i was just
nervous he was waiting for us to ask some questions yeah i don't think he
understood you're so cool yeah
for real the only thing matt did some preparation and thank christ dude because
if matt did not do
preparation the whole podcast would have me been going what about me going eastbound
down was like
i based my personality off that for like 10 years that was it that was all i
came into it with that was
the one that was my game plan yeah i'll say that you pull your swivel chair
over your hug them like
i love you so much please please come to the show he's mounted down outtakes
with will ferrell like
those are the best down my plums outtakes yes bro yeah it's unbelievable that
was the i still think that
might have been the funniest show ever i think it is the funniest show i don't
think anything can come
close to being like three seasons of it too i've never seen a show if a show is
funny usually by the
third season goodbye i think four four of you started out there's four oh there
was a sports episode
that's your favorite one there's four seasons of sports yeah yeah first one's
home mexico
sports sesh sports sesh oh no south carolina yeah three south carolina then
sports sesh season four
dude four seasons yeah you're all about it dude i've watched it so many times
you're like it's the greatest intro to any show yeah the fr like it just
somebody says something
up and it freezes on them and starts the music and he's pounding down my
favorite intro is when uh
it's sports sesh season four when stevie stevie's excited because kenny killed
on the last episode
and then he goes out the park he's like i'm so excited he punches he breaks a
car window
yeah that's nice anyway that was about what this is the conversation i prepared
let's say you're that's all you had i was gonna go remember this part yeah yeah
like oh what'd you
think going into this dude pure i was thinking about doing that as a warm-up
exercise for every
episode just do the same like the thing dudes do at bars and be like yo dude
remember that part in
old school yeah remember like her man yeah and it's go san diego a whale's
vagina
by the way that's how comedy begins yeah every dude that starts like stand-up
that's like our age
we were the dudes quoting college movies i mean we were in college quoting anchorman
and people like
dude this guy's unbelievably funny you know it's got to be the best generation
of the of comedy movies
yeah maybe just because we're our age i'm sure that if you ask your dads they'll
be like caddyshack
yeah that's true but i feel like those are the two waves right yeah like there
hasn't really been
one since the since the anchorman the world you're right there hasn't it was
like there's two snl waves
uh right before right before can't hardly wait like dudes and ski goggles like
whoo that was funny
that was cool the seth green yeah the seth green era of comedy i don't remember
what the movie's
about i know it's just people there's like snl waves like that where it's like
chevy chase bill
murray all those guys true and then it was farley sandler those guys that was
those guys there was
a whole four years of guys just going like this yeah that was big that was just
funny a dude would
born be born and that was as funny as he could be he was just quoting another
movie and then he'd die
that's as funny as you that's as funny as most people get yeah most people try
and can't remember
the quote they're like who would eat 30 bags of lunches and then it they'll
remember and then chris
farley's eating them in high school it'd literally be like uh like you just
quote off and be like yo
name the movie you just try to get your boys on quotes what's the most what's
the most quotable
movie you think dumb and dummers up there yeah i was going to say almost every
line dude if you
came out and did it do not go in there to the bathroom you crushed in the early
90s you could not
go in there everyone's like oh you talked with your butt cheeks i remember this
is asking some
binocca it's over dude mine's uh i think wave crashers bro wedding crashes is
off the guy we
listed the first episode i did with them we did uh tears they do this thing
where they list tears
top tier middle tier whatever and uh some and uh some gimmicky
uh theirs was comedians best comedians actors comedic actors his number one
number one though
was owen wilson no you had owen wilson i thought it was ryan reynolds oh ryan
round
yeah i was like i kept bringing up ryan reynolds for any type of comedy and he's
like yo what's what's
the deal with ryan you and ryan reynolds ryan reynolds obviously he's funny but
he's not
what movie what movie farley sandler yeah i want to say that to you i think i
was trolling
a little bit i think i threw it all right you got me with your rap dude i
thought it was because i
said owen wilson did i say ben stiller no still is not bad dude you have to
give him you have to give
the filler because i was like you're like chris farley i was like no dude dude
chris farley and then
ever since then he'll like dm me like videos of chris farley just like going
off the he made a list
of his top 10 rappers of all time it got me because i met you when you listed
your top 10 movies and i
was like you fell for that i fell for it initially i was like dude this is the
fun i think i retweeted
it and i was like dude this might be the funniest list of all time because it
was he just listed white
his top five was like you did on a purpose to mess with people yeah
yeah yeah you got me so funny i thought it was the funniest fucking pissed i
had like
yeah beastie boys was in there nf busy boys is top five is crazy where'd you
dream that up from
what were you doing where were like where did that uh i don't know jp do you
remember what was
happening at that time something was happening and i was like it was something
that was kind of
going viral black yeah and i was trying to yeah absolutely it would be funny if
i bothered black
people yeah dude it's like a heat-seeking missile in a black twitter dude there's
a real easy way to do
that there there's a much easier way than a top 10. teach me shane no no chill
chill chill like
use the best basketball players you're like oh birds birds steve nash stockton
yeah stock pistol pete
that must have people up dude you wake up you're a black dude and you see the
top 10 you go
what the that would oh they were pissed it got it was going it was doing so
much that uh mgk ends up
i had machine gun kelly in there nice he ends up responding to somebody goes
you got to listen to
this album and then put the like shoulder shrug emoji so he was buying into the
trolls mgk was on
your side being like yeah i am the best yeah yeah he's i am yeah yeah i am i am
top ten all the time
right below the beastie boys i think i had him right above j cole
list eminem's number one yeah mac miller uh biggie the beastie boys tupac jay-z
nf
lil wayne mgk and j cole so you're mixing it up enough to where i was like wait
he put biggie right
there that's right they were giving me so much more to play off of too well it
got me i remember
seeing it and being like wait is will dumb enough and i don't that is really
mean to say i shouldn't
have just said that but that was my initial thought my initial thought was i
was like wait he did have
ryan reynolds you meant that you were not on him being like favorite actor tier
one and owen wilson
just because you liked wedding crashers oh yeah i mean oh wilson is trauma but
not you know wilson is
a troll because i like vince vaughn i like like vince vaughn's funny vince vaughn
might be number
one but ryan reynolds is my top three i love right now what's ryan reynolds in
that you're saying my
favorite that's subjective so i was about to sit up and start yelling what's he
in what's ryan
what's uh reynolds and wilder and that's it uh what is it the proposal oh my
bad did i chop his head
off oh guys you're gonna want to put your guns down that sense of humor that
drives me up a wall dude
ryan reynolds is a beast it's unfortunate for him because i think he was one of
the first like snarky
hot guy comedy yeah yeah but then since then it's been just friends been copied
so much that it's so
annoying just friends is really funny he's undeniably funny but he's not better
than eddie murphy
yeah as far best best yeah you're right i mean you are right about that you get
hype on rr
ryan reynolds i can see it now it's just one of those where i was like holding
back i was like i
didn't want to be like dude ryan reynolds sucks i hate him because you're
talking about being nervous
on the pot yeah because taylor was an offensive lineman right no i wasn't
nervous about that i was
nervous because it was 90 degrees and i didn't know you guys that well and the
questions were like
wait you got fired from snl two years later i'm sitting there i think taylor
was like what happened
you want to know what i said why are we doing this yeah bro because you know
like again the
dog shout out the dogs the dogs are even coming in on that episode like these
boys don't even know
get these amateurs out in the second one we did at notre dame that was fire
that was a fire that
was but you hated the way you fired yeah my face i took adderall my face was
dark red i was hammered
i was just saying i was like michigan sucks they went undefeated
you're like they're the clemson a they got exposed they did i mean they lost to
tcu who lost by 70.
that's kind of nice to call it yeah yeah i mean you yeah like michigan is
i mean they're like phonies in the big 10. like i want them number one i want
big 10 to win
yeah so i want big 10 the conference to always win if nebraska can't be the
victor that comes
out of that conference yeah so when michigan shits the bed you know you got to
just pour into like
yo when can we get a real team in the mix but yeah huskers all day long so i'm
talking about yeah
i played there oh there you go this is my taylor he has no idea he's gonna get
you look at these
shoes dude study study for dana mcbride he's like who's coming over i watched
one interview for d
mcbride not even the whole thing i got two questions out of it went perfect
that's all we
need it'll be an hour thank you got two questions then we went back to the
trusted whacking off
material dude there's mcbride and talked about
