Oh here's a good one.
The joke is a bit wordy.
Do you have any other colored jokes?
I mean he's just blue and yellow.
Did you just say do I have any other colored jokes?
I knew you were going to say that.
Fucking Jimmy the Greek over here.
Jimmy the Greek.
How about Jimmy the Greek gets kicked out for being a racist.
Meanwhile they call him the Greek.
On TV.
Mr. Musburger.
Yes sir.
People that you've worked with.
Now listen.
You were on TV for years with a guy called Jimmy the Greek.
Jimmy the Greek.
Which I always found odd that he was thrown out for racism.
Everybody called him the Greek.
You're right.
He had a bookmaker on the program.
I did.
Which I found fascinating.
Were there a lot of guys in sports casting that developed gambling problems?
Or not problems.
It's fun.
You mean.
Exactly.
By the way he's got another Greek bookmaker sitting right next to him.
There we go.
I was about to say.
I've got another.
He has not changed a bit in that regard.
You know Normie it was fascinating.
I'm going to be perfectly honest.
I knew next to nothing.
I mean I knew you could bet on games and point spreads and Bob Martin was a
legendary.
But the Greek would always take me over to the Barbary Coast.
And Michael Gunn who owns the South Point.
He was operating the Barbary over there.
Sure.
Good stake.
Good stake.
Best.
Yeah.
You know he moved Michael's from Barbary right down here to the South Point as
you know.
So I said to the Greek one.
I said Greek.
What do you like going over to the Barbary?
I called him the Greek.
Hey Greek.
You know.
It was unbelievable.
He'd be sitting around.
Greek come on.
Let's go out here for dinner.
I'm sure you're racist.
I never really saw him.
The most racist Greek they're in.
When you think about it.
He's absolutely.
What do you like going over to the Barbary Coast for?
Hey.
Parlay cards.
Ties win.
Ties win.
That was why the Greek would go to the Barbary Coast.
Because you were the only guys that had ties winning.
Ties win.
That's a big, big, big thing.
He knew value.
He knew value.
That's a lot of EV on the ties win.
Yeah, we still run that ties win card.
And I got to make it every week.
And I got to tell you, I hate that thing.
They do not.
They don't put.
Mr. Greek doesn't like it.
No.
I remember they lost money for a while on those 10-point three-team parlays.
I don't know if they do those anymore.
We don't do those anymore.
No.
I don't know if they do that.
They say I don't listen.
I tell you I try.
And we both got our own problems.
But I don't know.
Reporter from WRC-TV was asking questions about Martin Luther King's birthday
and the progress
blacks have made in society.
There CBS Sports commentator Jimmy the Greek Snyder gave his impressions of
blacks and coaching
in the National Football League.
His answers could raise as much controversy as the statements by former Dodgers
executive
Al Campanis last April on ABC's Nightline news program.
Yeah, pretty soon they're going to have to equalize it for the blacks, for the
Greeks,
the Jews, and for everybody.
I mean, let's make it equal for everybody, you know.
And is it equal?
What about in sports?
Well, they've got everything.
If they take over coaching like everybody wants them to, there's not going to
be anything
left for the white people.
I mean, all the players are black.
I mean, the only thing that the whites control is the coaching jobs.
Now, I'm not being derogatory about it, but that's all that's left for them.
The black talent is beautiful.
It's great.
It's out there.
The only thing left for the whites is a couple coaching jobs.
Yeah, but here we need to get more black coaches, don't we?
Well, it's all right with me.
I'm sure that they'll take over that pretty soon, too.
over that pretty soon too.
