well hey i'm going to give you a quote let me see if uh you can place it okay
okay and uh here's
my sorry impression of uh the great norm mcdonald hey uh you know a date rapist
has to have a lot
of more charmed than a regular rapist i know what that is yeah i know what that
is too yeah you know
because uh you know that arty lang he's uh he's no longer a baby gorilla he's a
big gorilla now
oh we were talking about that thanks man thanks for calling he's terrible glad
i took his call norm's
co-star arty lang in dirty work one reviewer said that arty had all the charm
of a date rapist
right and so norm cheered arty up by saying well the date rapist has to have
enormous charm as
opposed to a regular rapist yeah i mean well yeah i mean no a date rapist a
date rape
is he has to he spends more time and money yeah well you have to get a date you
have to charm them
into your right apartment he's in many ways smarter yeah well he's you know
what he's more patient it's
funny that you said that a real rapist yeah i mean like a real well date rape a
simple rape i mean you
know no it is completely different yeah it really is uh a different um less of
a stigma with date rape
than you know back alley rapist no it's a different motive i think you know
yeah well sometimes it's
a misunderstanding or whatever it is hormones you know it's different than
stalking a person breaking
in and raping a 75 year old woman like it like a 75 year old woman rarely gets
date raped
she's gonna she has to depend upon the regular traditional rape i mean if it's
gonna happen
i never have heard that before in my life like she's not been taken to nate and
owls and kind of
right charmed by some old bingo and then wacko there's some really weird ideas
bouncing around this
room well it's friday you know the world's coming to an end all right it's uh
conway women
sam simon and norm mcdonald are with us we're live on 97.1 free fm
sometimes you'd see guys like i knew this guy i don't know if you've ever met a
guy is like you
don't even understand it but it just gets women all the time it's like very
mysterious yeah like
but he like i know this one guy literally got a different woman every night i'm
not even exaggerating
i asked him what his secret was he said he was a serial rapist so for him it
was just perfect no
but uh you know when i was on saturday live guys would come on and uh they were
handsome guys yeah and
they were um convinced they were funny and the publicist would go on this would
be this is going
to be a real it's going to be really good for gabriel's career because he's so
funny you know and uh
then a fun guy wouldn't be funny at all and uh i i came to me that you know how
they always say like
women like guys with senses of humor it turns out they just laugh at handsome
guys yeah exactly
