I don't know if you heard about this, but the UFC suspended fighter Matt Mitrioni
last week
after he called a fighter who underwent male-to-female gender assignment
surgery
a lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak.
You know who the real freak here is, right?
The person with a closed mind.
Yes.
I say a mind works like a parachute when it's open.
That's when it works best.
Well, your great gift and charm is we can see that no one's going to tell you
what to do.
And we love people like that.
A Georgia high school is planning to merge their formerly all-black and all-white
proms into a single event.
The theme of this June's dance, an evening of unbridled race war.
Now, Norm, you have a theory apparently that it's very famous
for difficult people to bomb on film.
It's very famous for difficult people to bomb.
What are you, on acid?
Sorry, I'm channeling your old Bob Dole character.
You've said it's very difficult for famous people to bomb.
That's what I meant to say.
You're actually more articulate when you're not reading off a blue card.
Observances based on the number 420 include smoking cannabis around the time 4:20
p.m.
as well as on the date April 20th.
No.
What date is that?
What year?
This was around 1970.
No, this is 1945.
What kind of computer do you have?
It's a Mac.
It's a Mac.
Mine's a Dell.
I like a Dell.
I know.
We covered that.
All right.
Listen, guys.
For some reason, I've been told to stretch.
Oh, I've never tried that before.
We have an African-American today on the show.
We do?
Yeah.
So none of that talk.
If you want to say the word you love saying, instead, say the N-word.
And everyone will know what you mean.
It'll be all right.
You know, there used to be a word we would all say to mean stupid that we don't
say anymore.
Right?
Yeah.
You know the word I'm talking about?
Yes.
And stupidly, I was about to say that word.
And I stopped and said, what's the right word to say?
And then I said a different word that was equally offensive.
Did you realize at that moment that probably offended a lot of you?
I realized at that moment that I'd done something unforgivable.
Yeah.
Right.
It takes a big man to admit that he makes mistakes.
I'll tell you that right now.
A big man to admit that he makes mistakes.
A small man would not admit that he makes...
That's a huge...
That's a snake.
It's some sort of a snake.
Amongst the TV shows nominated tonight are Amazing Race Canada.
Big Brother Canada.
Master Chef Canada.
Where do they come up with these ideas?
No, firstly, Conan, I'm thankful for the fine ladies who live across this
country and leave
pies on their window sills.
So an old chunk of coal like me might have a meal from time to time.
Okay.
This is an incredible thing.
I read the curling, which we get excited about every four years.
Curling.
Phenomenal.
That is not a renewable...
Do you know what those are made of?
The curling stones?
The stones?
I don't really know.
Aren't they goiter?
I've always taken them for granite.
Hey, we'll be back with more!
*laughter*
