Steven here. I was just calling to congratulate you on having Jordan Peterson,
first of all, on your podcast, and then being on the Joe Rogan experience. I
thought that was really amazing. I thought you stole the show, honestly. I don't
know why Joe wasn't just laughing and crying in tears, but you're doing really
great things, and I think you're about to take off, and I see good things in
your future.
Love you. Love your show. Talk to you later.
Thanks for the call, yeah, and I appreciate that, and yeah, look, I mean, I
felt like fucking, I felt like Bo Jackson, dude. You know, I felt a little bit,
you know, here's the thing. It's like, you don't want to say, well, I feel out
of my league, you know, but I don't want to say that I feel in my league.
You know what I'm saying? I want to always be out of my league. I want to
always be, you know, I want to always kind of have that mind. I always want to
feel okay in my old clothes, you know?
You know, I had this idea that I never want to put on, like, my old clothes and
feel like I'm too good for them, you know?
And I know some of you guys might be like, well, how does this pertain to any
of this?
But look, man, if you'd have asked me three months ago, do you think you'll be
on Joe Rogan and interviewing Jordan Peterson in the same week?
No. And look, that might never, look, I mean, that's like, you know, that's
when, what's his name, Sugar Ray Robinson or whatever, you know, won the title.
And I think, what else happened to that guy? He fucking, didn't he kill a
couple people in a car accident?
But that's like, that's not, I mean, that's not, that's the worst comparison.
What happened? Oh, that's like, didn't they have somebody that was skydiving
and hit a donkey or something?
And it busted the animal open and they had a, they found it had like a
swallowed or wedding ring or something of someone's.
And, you know, the, you know, it was like very expensive and the family had
been looking for that.
Yeah. So it's more like that.
It's like, you know, when something happens and then something else happens,
you don't expect it.
But yeah, it was, you know, yeah, it was just crazy week.
But yeah, but thanks for tuning in and, and, and yeah, I guess I always want to
have that thing where I'm in the minor leagues.
I always want to have that thing where I, fuck, I don't know, man.
What the fuck am I even talking about?
Let's take another call here.
I just, you know, I think I would feel sad if I, if I felt like my old clothes,
if I wasn't good, if I was too good for my old clothes.
Because, I don't know what this means or, I don't know, this is making me feel
kind of strange, but, because I don't, you know, my old clothes were, they were
never too good for me, you know?
Like they never, you know, it's never like I went to my closet one day and my
clothes were like, nah, nah, man.
You know, we don't, you're not allowed here.
You know, we don't accept you here or we don't, man, I don't know, this shit's
got me tearing up.
I don't even know why either, you know?
What is it?
What am I thinking about?
You know, I wonder why this has me feeling like kind of, I don't know.
Yeah, I don't want to ever.
Yeah.
Well, here's the thing.
It's like we can adapt so quickly.
You know, you can adapt so quickly to feeling like, oh, I deserve here or I
deserve here.
And it's not even something you do as a person, I don't think, I think it's
something, it's something built into us.
You know, it's the same, I think I talked about this before.
It's like when you see somebody eating out of a dumpster.
If you, if you'd have asked that person previously, would you ever eat out of a
dumpster?
No way, they would say.
But then there they are.
It's like, and a year later, they could be eating in a five-star restaurant
again with their life back on track or the life on a different track if they
chose to eat out of the dumpster.
But, and they, and they would again say, no, I would never do that again.
You know, it's just, we are so adaptable and we'll get used to things very
quick.
Thank you guys for checking out this clip.
And if you want to see another clip, then you can look at this clip or this
clip, either one of these.
So did you pick one or are you still just watching me do this?
Because this is alarming.
