So one last thing, and this is going to be a real moment in late night talk
show history.
Okay?
You have tweeted on multiple occasions about the same subject.
Are you familiar with what that subject is?
Oh.
The mirror tweet.
In a mirror?
Yes.
You can kiss yourself, but only on the lips.
Okay.
Yes.
20th December 2019, you can kiss yourself in the mirror, but only on the lips.
Yes.
The 12th of July 2013, in a mirror you can kiss yourself on the lips.
30th August 2011, for narcissists only, laws of reflection require that if you
kiss yourself
in a mirror, it will always be on the lips.
The 23rd of February 2010, you did the same crap.
What the hell is this mirror shit all about?
Well, so I would repost a tweet every new million followers that I got, because
they wouldn't
have seen the previous tweet.
If you can survive it.
Why is it the kissing tweet about every new million followers?
How's your mind?
Well, there are other tweets that were done, but they weren't compiled neatly
for you in
this exercise.
Well, you're not explaining this kissing thing in the mirror.
No, no.
It's like I said, you shouldn't follow me if you want to learn astrophysics.
I just have weird observations.
Here's another one.
You're right.
If blood were green, such as Spock on Star Trek and crustaceans.
And he was, of course.
Vulcan.
Vulcan.
Okay.
If blood were green using copper for its hemoglobin, if you will, instead of
iron, then what color
would stoplights be?
I posed that question to Twitter.
I don't fucking know, bro.
Well.
What is it?
I don't know.
It's a question.
Because you stop on red and you go on green, because green is nature and green
is nice and
green is not dangerous, right?
We identify red with danger because blood is red and no one wants to see your
blood.
So I made a simple comment about our biochemistry and wondered what influence
that would have
on how we design traffic lights.
I want to go back to this mirror thing.
With every few million followers.
Dave, can you get out here?
We're going to ... This is going to be a moment in late night talk show history.
Okay?
A mirror.
We have a mirror set up.
Neil, could you ... Would you kindly ... Close your eyes.
And in the sexiest way possible, kiss yourself in the mirror.
But I don't feel ... I don't ... Come on, man.
It's fun.
It's physics.
But it's fun, dude.
So you want to know if this will work.
Yeah, yeah.
Just ... This is a popular thing online.
People talk about the Neil deGrasse Tyson mirror tweet.
So would you ... Would you kindly ... I guess so.
Go ahead.
And close your eyes.
Make it ... Make it real sexy.
I know you're a nerd, but I know you can be sexy.
The stuff people make me do ... Now they want me to kiss myself in the mirror.
Yeah, go ahead.
Now wouldn't you be surprised if I kiss myself on the cheek?
You're really filibustering right now.
It seems like you're nervous.
So if I were really fast, I could kiss the mirror and quickly turn my cheek.
That's not possible.
Let's try that.
You have to kiss yourself on the lips.
Ben, did you get it?
Ben didn't get it.
Okay.
Let me ... I'm going to ... I'm going to kill ...
Well, because my head is in the way.
And I'm looking at you, so I know you can see me.
I know you can see me.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
Okay.
I'll hold it.
No, you don't know how to hold it.
I know how to hold it.
No, no.
I'll hold it.
I'll hold it.
You won't know how to hold it.
Let me ... Okay.
So for the wide, we're going to do it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And let's just run that again from the top.
Okay.
So I can hold it into the wide.
No, well, no.
I got it.
I think it'd be good.
Okay.
Okay.
Ready?
Okay.
Do you want to ...
You know what ...
Okay.
Sorry, sorry.
One more.
All right.
Dude.
Pleasure.
Can I get a hug?
I'm a hugger.
I'm a hugger.
Mmm.
