can you just speculate on what tucker is going through right now my guess is
that his emotional
mood state right now is you think he's like that would be my guess why he got
paid well he doesn't
need to be paid his name is tucker swanson mcnear carlson swanson like tv dinners
he's got a ton
of money he has a franchise he has a base he was the wind in their sails so but
if you're a company
that makes like a if i fall down here's like a button that i could press tuckers
that's prime
or a pillow yeah the pillow guy rocks i gotta get him on this show mike lindell
i had him on my show
he's a guy that used to smoke crack and now makes pillows but he believes
very why do you even let him on your show now that's funny that's a good
question no i did not
have a show business i did not have mom because it's show business i'll tell
you why my decision
is this even if you hate what this person is going to say don't you want to
know the basis of the
argument and why it resonates with so many people because lindell has an has an
opinion that you can
wave away but you've got like 40 of the country agrees with them i don't know i
just think this is
just a just a fading empire it doesn't really matter at this point but i wonder
if the pillow's good
a fading empire yeah of course that's what you see us as yeah you're proud we
hit a jackpot after
world war ii we rebuilt europe probably blew it in one and a half generations
so the mafia i was trying to distract from what you were vomiting out of your
face okay there are
three 8 pm prime time slots right no but go ahead this is your so tucker tucker
we all remember he was
this doughy bow tie guy debating paul bagala on cnn everyone's like look at
this dweeb right and then
he got the 8 pm prime time slot on fox to what extent is it the hand fitting
the glove that he is
the prime time anchor on fox during the trump administration like and there are
three different
brands you have msnbc you have fox and you know these are three different
products and and to what
extent does that distract from actually the purpose of like a viable third
estate
third estate fourth so that's okay can we run that again cut that run it again
run it again run it
again i'll tell you uh i'll back into the answer this way what's the third
estate it's a very i don't
know nevertheless of course of course it's fitting the brand especially and
almost exclusively and i started
at fox news you know i started working for roger ales he loved you um he did
love me and i
left there because i saw what it was and what i had to do to be there and i
didn't want to do that and
not that everybody at fox is bad but the brand is obvious so tucker has changed
tucker was not always
this way right you know he is absolutely a character that resonates but all of
these guys on the right
it's transactional but the problem is that's not how the people at home are
taking it when you get people
laughing that's why i personally love comedy and the most impressive comedy to
me is where you get me
to laugh at something that i shouldn't be laughing at i i love that i love when
you do it um louis ck
as as as a mocker or that i'll try i'll try one try one after this please is
that when you make me laugh
at something that i shouldn't be laughing at or that i don't even want to laugh
at that's genius to me
and that's okay because i know what's going on these audiences don't know that
when you're saying that
uh putin's actually a good guy and january 6 didn't really happen it did it did
happen it was just really
funny so that's the danger is that you meet these people and they believe it
and those fox watchers are
different and that they watch almost nothing else yeah in cable the amount of
sampling when i look
at my minute by minutes right so now i'm at this startup news nation but when i
was at cnn
i would look at the minute by minutes and the average watch time when we were
killing it would be
somewhere between 11 and 14 minutes and every commercial there was like a 50
reset let me see
what madhouse saying let me see what the crazies are saying on fox fox viewers
don't do that they
measure their viewership in hours everybody else is in minutes yeah because the
nursing home doesn't
give them the remote young people there too you still like the news i do it's
not about like
it's about need it's about the value of it
you
