I got really sad the other day talking to my dad.
Why?
Because I was like, you know, like, you know, I was like, well, you know, and I'm
talking
about buying an apartment, and it was like, you know, like when, you know, when
Trump
was going to get those interest rates down to, down to a negative, you know,
like made
a little, a little quip, you know?
He's like, "Adam Trump's not going to win," and I was like, "Oh, you don't
think, I mean,
I think he probably isn't going to win," right, and he's like, I was like, "What
do you
think?"
He's like, "No, man," he's like, "Sorry to break it to you, Trump's not going
to win," and I was
like, "So what's going to happen?"
This broke my heart.
I like got depressed after I heard this, but he was like, "Joe Biden's going to
get it, you
know?
He's going to get the nomination four weeks before the election, drop out,
Michelle Obama,
they're going to give it to her.
She's going to sweep, probably one of the biggest victories of all time."
That sounds like the worst plan possible, a month before the election.
He presented it as unimpeachable, like, the most likely thing, scenario to
happen.
And I was like, "God damn, man, that is the saddest thing."
That's what MSNBC brain is now.
Right.
I mean, exactly.
A month before the election, they're going to drop the incumbent president to
run a woman
who to, regular people, me included, the only policy position I know of hers is
eat vegetables.
Right.
That's all he's got.
Exactly.
More broccoli.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They're going to run her.
The no candy lady.
That's so sad.
I've had kind of enough of the no candy lobby myself lately.
I don't know if I...
That's poor...
Can you imagine?
Like, that's...
I wonder what your dad thinks.
It's probably the same thing.
Yeah, something like that.
I guess he's been more...
Because the MSNBC has turned on Israel now.
Oh, it has.
And so he'll be like, "Did you know Israel's bad?"
Uh-huh.
I'll be like, "No.
That's news to me."
Uh-huh.
Yeah.
Yeah.
First I'm hearing about it.
No, but like, to say with authority, it's like, "Adam, Trump's not going to win."
Yeah.
And then to say the answer is a...
Do you think Trump's going to win, though?
The evidence that Trump's going to win is like there's these polls, like how
Biden polls
with like young Democrats, you know?
And they're like, "Do you think Biden's participating in a genocide?"
And it's 50% say yes.
That's nothing.
Well, it's not nothing.
It's...
Amongst young people.
And it's 50% yes, Israel has gone too far.
30%.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Like, not sure.
Only 20% say no.
Yeah, yeah.
But the point is, is like, it doesn't mean that they're going to vote for Trump.
Are people stoked to go out and vote for Biden?
Absolutely not.
No.
They weren't stoked about to vote for Donald Trump either.
I think his guys, yeah.
I don't know.
I think his guys are stoked.
But I said this last time.
In 2020, I was like, this is going to be the shittiest turnout ever.
Yeah, it's going to be like 11%.
Yeah, I'm like, these are the shittiest candidates.
And then it's the highest turnout.
The last one.
The last one, yeah.
I was completely wrong.
Yeah, well, they wanted to get rid of Trump.
There was like a lot of energy there.
I'll tell you what, I won't be voting.
I'm done with it.
