um statistics episode we took a look so if you guys this is a patreon episode
if you're a patreon
subscriber you may thank you so much for subscribing thank you guys so much
thank you oh my god thank
you so much love our patreon subscribers we love you guys you guys are really
making it happen you
guys are kind of like our bosses thank you you're our bosses you're also our
our overbearing super
you go yeah oh the lords and you're the new stop yeah you're the new stop
basically the patreon is the
new stuff is yeah this is the new stop so but uh so i if you know if you're a
patreon subscriber you
realize we didn't release anything last weekend there was no premium episode um
it was a mess in
here we had to get it uh clean which it's now looks great yeah i should give
them a little studio tour
uh i don't know i mean it's just you can't see a phenomenal job look i mean
look at that file
cabinet over there look at that car i can't really this is i don't know this is
like there's this isn't
moving i mean yeah there we go you got the file you've seen the file cabinet
what nick did with
the file cabinet this weekend when i was in detroit i came i came in today yeah
and it gave me a little
smile on my face yeah you guys because you got to have fun this is the first
time you guys are like
peewee playhouse the file cabinet yeah yeah it's taken two years but we finally
got fun fact that's
actually a free file cabinet that's a file cabinet that we got for free from
another office in the
building that was moving out and then we think in a fit of rage i destroyed the
uh the the lock
mechanism i did and uh because i couldn't figure out how which key we went to
so i destroyed that
fuck it sounded like he was making there was a metal banging he had like a
hammer to it and so and so now we
don't now we instead of a file cabinet we have a friend now we have a friend
yeah i love him that's
the new uh adam freeland show mascot the adam freeland show mascot is the file
cabinet do you guys is he
like uh is it like a character is he american or is he what what is he uh
japanese he's japanese he's a
japanese businessman so it's you know he spends most of his day here and then
he goes and he gets
drunk off sake and his work co-workers come all over he's a salary man anyways
back to the point
this is a we i went to the patreon to see uh you know because the episode it
didn't get uh we did
not post an episode and i was like i wonder how mad people are about this and i
actually haven't that's
been the beauty of doing this is is because we had fun with the old podcast but
we really didn't want
to become uh we didn't want people to be able to talk to us yeah and so and but
then people started
to and so uh i personally have have sealed myself off from social media i guess
adam's still on what
you're on club penguin i'm on club penguin and a couple other sites that i don't
club penguin it's uh
basically because of the focus well you've heard of jeffrey epstein's island
right imagine that but
they fuck animals also anti-semitism has basically destroyed every other social
media platform so this
is the last i don't really like talking about it but this is the last place
where i can go and just be
myself you can just feel yeah you can just feel i like one of the tribe yeah
yeah and uh so it's kind
of safety's important anyway so back to the numbers because we this is fucking
hilarious i i was shocked i was
like is that is there an error with patreon is patreon has patreon we haven't
had a fucking stroke i have
not looked at how how look and so there's a website called graftreon you can go
to where it shows you
phenomenal it shows you presumably the growth of the patreon over time yeah and
this is funny because if
you look at this let's look at the first one let's hold up the first one so
this is uh exhibit a this is
the patreon for the adam friedland show so if you want to just pay attention to
the red circle yeah if you see yeah if you
look look at the top the peak there that is the the first of all look at the
there's a jump up before go down a little
bit right there that is we're announcing we're creating a talk show and then
look at the top
that's hey everybody here's the talk show
and then the rest of that is is probably the greatest repudiation of a product
by a customer base
of all time yeah where does this start yeah it starts in 2008 16 no yeah it
starts 2016 so we're just
kids yeah that's zero that's zero we're just steady growth we had dreams and
then and look and if you
look at through this chart right there's periods that are flat or it kind of
dips and in the past
i would check and i'd be like oh man are we doing something wrong that's all
come down up into the
red line is come down in the past it would dip and you know go down just but
barely and i think like
dude that we like right around here we had like a meltdown that month yeah we
thought the show was over
yeah right here right there and then and then i would check i would check other
pages nick was
texting us he was saying i'm ready to get another job he's like i'm not going
to write this down to
zero yeah yeah anyways so so you know i thought i thought like okay um uh you
know like because in
those periods i would check other patrons and be like you know is it is it an
economy thing it might
are we dealing with is it the global there might be macroeconomics yeah look at
this these are mic
these are some micro and so i see there might be some macro i see this and i'm
like forces at play
right i see this and i said there's no way it's possible people hate the adam
friedland show this
much we've spent all this money look at all this stuff we bought how could
people hate that a great
rug how could i people the rug is nice yeah the rug is nice we still got the
tags on the chairs yeah
everything in here is nice so how could the people hate it this much so i said
okay well let me check the
other patrons let's our dear friend shane gillis who who pulled up the other
chart by the way shane's
getting no no hold up hold up the original chart no no the adam friedland show
okay so so and then
and then see that flat area the from 2018 ish on that chart back i remember
that was before shane got
snl you know we'd have 20 you know yeah i remember they had a little podcast
called matt and shane oh
just a plucky little small just a little guy just two fat uh friends anti-semite
yeah two anti-semites
two anti-semites having a little bit of fun and we would bring them on and so
anyways so i i check for
whatever reason they're number one on this website they are number right and
let's take a look at let's
take a look at their chart to see if there's maybe it's just a global economy
it could be a macro
it could be a macro economic issue we have let's see and if you look at the red
circle hold that up even
higher yeah because that looks like a if it uh that looks like there's no
periods in which
it goes down and in fact i don't see any flat if you turn this upside down uh-huh
so let's say so
let's say like this their their meteoric rise now here's here's the thing here's
here's the thing i
just want to i want to point out real quick is uh matt and shane don't tell you
what they're making on
patreon but this website will give you an estimate here and can we see that
right there that's a that's
a month it's estimated income five hundred and seventy five thousand dollars a
month
i'm glad to be like uh so dan you've known shane you've known shane for years i've
known him for a
little bit i've never how do you tell the camera shane's getting big right now
how do you shane's
popping off right now tell shane okay say hey shane congrats on the 575
thousand dollars a month
could i get 5 000 of that shane can we can't can i get 5 000 of that we gotta
we we just gotta give
it up to the bull give it up to matt uh yeah man we just want to give it up to
them um i'm glad to be
part of like your hitler's bunker episode this is kind of there is good we have
two guns so
this is we're gonna have to sell the guns too well you want to use it first get
something out of the
guns yeah we're probably gonna have to for your zone i mean um this is just i
mean so so we're just
crunching numbers and and the thing is is that we haven't crushed the numbers
in a while so we may
have missed a couple numbers right missed a couple decimals or or dot uh dots
or dots yeah yeah or dots
that's what they they call you decimal saint germain yeah well that's my big
character yeah yeah yeah
that's my big character um so so yeah so we're we're crunching the numbers we
got so it's saying around
this is like a trauma laugh just say no no say say the number out loud say 575
000. uh they are
estimated earnings 500 575 000 per month wow that makes me feel awesome for my
friend i feel good i
feel i mean that's what i do i feel good for my friends oh yeah uh that's
awesome it feels awesome to
have that information i'm really glad for my friend no we want to give it up
for them uh now going back
to our chart uh you keep looking at the chart like something else is gonna like
pop up i feel like
there could be a clue there could be there could be some sort of clue that
could uh that could kind of
maybe shed a little what is it like the right when it goes down like which
episode like what the first
episode of the adam the first there's the very first one yeah that was the
beginning right that's when
they yes that's when it started i mean you look at this and you would think
like was there were all of
our listeners in east palestine ohio yeah was there something that happened was
there yeah there could be
they could be in trouble yeah i mean like the the thing is we make it all about
us and we we should be
thinking about that right you know like this like this looks like there was
like a world changing
event that happened uh-huh right around yeah and if you and and just for
context like just looking
at this this chart right doesn't really appear like there was no it seems like
this line went to that
paper yeah it does it does it reads as if that peak is 1942
this is like uh like a mugabe zimbabwe like this is like the the british left
and they they ended uh
they ended the colonialism and then the uh the currency went to like like uh
this is when you
started printing like money with your face yeah taps but yeah the second my
face went on on the hundred
dollar bill it was so i'll tell you what if you sign up to the patreon because
then maybe you're stealing this
yeah if you sign up the patreon guess what you get a play date with our office
manager hashimoto
mr hashimoto mr hashimoto and look at you smell like bleach and pancake batter
he's proud though i just
had a meeting mr hashimoto how do you get uh how do you get the adam friedwin
show back on track
uh you uh put a knife into your gun
you commit harikari that's how you do it
you
