Hey everybody, it's Pete Holmes with The Pete Holmes Show, where BET has asked
us to cover
the hip hop awards.
I'm as surprised as you are.
New experiences!
One of the biggest names in the game.
Most definitely.
Rick Ross.
I love what you're wearing.
Oh man, you know, I keep it fly at all times, you know.
Real simple velour sweatsuit, few hundred K in jewels, you know I gotta shine.
A few hundred K in jewels?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
This is a couple hundred thousand dollars?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
No big deal.
No, not at all.
Who cares?
Light work.
Take them off, throw them in the garbage.
Yeah, nah, nah, we won't do that.
Were you always 2 Chainz?
As far as his personality?
I mean, in your heart?
Yeah, bro.
What about your name?
Not always.
Didn't you have a name before 2 Chainz?
Titty boy.
Titty boy.
I like that.
I used to swim with my t-shirt on until I was 18.
Really?
Yeah.
Did you puff a little Cron this morning?
Puffed a little bit right before I came out here with you.
Perfect.
I would expect nothing less.
Oh, sticky, icky, icky, baby.
Have you been puffing any trees this morning?
Hell yeah.
Man, I'm a medical marijuana patient from the state of Michigan, baby.
There you go.
Glaucoma.
Everything.
Anxiety.
All that.
Trouble sleeping.
Nervous in groups.
Handling it.
Have to do green carpet events.
Worked out great.
Just enjoy being high.
Do people ever ask you to rap for them?
I mean, yeah.
You know they ask to rap for all the time.
I'm not gonna ask you to do it.
You're gonna let me out do it today.
That's right, 'cause I'm a comedian.
People ask me to do jokes for them.
Why don't we just take a quiet moment to let each other be ourselves?
Most definitely.
It just feels right, doesn't it?
Did you consider a shirt?
Never.
This jacket, I love it.
Appreciate it.
It kinda looks like the background from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air at the
beginning.
Yeah, Versace.
Versace.
Yeah.
Big Fresh Prince fan.
Have you seen the movie Up?
Up?
Up?
No.
It don't sound like my type of movie.
No, I think it's right up your alley.
Huh?
We could take our shirts off and just watch it together.
You got a home theater?
Challenge.
No, we can't watch it together.
You know, I'm not a very cool person, but just by proxy, I think you're making
me 300% cool.
It's not a big deal.
Yeah, it's cool.
I just, do I look natural?
It looks natural.
Can I, do I have a stone grill?
It looks natural.
Oh my God.
This is my job.
Let me ask you, if you weren't an MC, what do you think you'd be doing?
Probably own a grocery store.
All right.
Whole Snoop.
Yeah, and be selling way through the back door.
There you go.
I'd go there.
I might be producing the Pete Holmes show.
Dude, I would hire you as our band any day.
Oh man.
We got a good rapport.
Oh man.
Let me have that sweatsuit.
Oh man, never.
When you guys go out, who's the wingman?
We both be winging.
Wingman, wingman.
Yeah, we call, we, we, we, actually we say that.
We, we, we say wingman winging.
Wingman winging.
Wingman winging.
Yeah, we call, we, we, we, actually we say that.
We, we say wingman winging.
Wingman winging.
Wingman winging.
Wingman winging.
Wingman winging.
Yeah, we call, we, we, we, actually we say that.
We, we, we say wingman winging.
Wingman winging?
Wingman winging.
Are we getting it wet a lot?
Yeah.
Wingman winging.
I'm going to say it's nice to talk to somebody that's my height.
Six?
Six five.
Six five?
Almost exactly.
Do you need kind of an oafy, goofy version of you in your entourage?
I definitely don't need you in my entourage, period.
You gotta get some taco meat on there though.
That, that little fuzz ain't gonna work.
What is taco meat?
Yeah, you need some taco meat on there.
What does that mean?
I got some taco meat under here.
I can't show it though.
It's a little grimy.
Is this my chest here?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm Lithuanian.
We're a hairless people.
I got things to offer.
No, I do like to laugh a lot, so maybe you can, you know, help take the stress
away.
But for the most part, I'm cool.
I'm cool as hell.
I still feel like when the cameras are off, it's gonna be enough.
Yeah.
If I were in hip hop, what do you think my hip hop name would be?
MC No Taco Meat.
Cracker Boy.
Ice Bird.
Charlie Boy.
Lil Conan.
I don't know.
Lil Conan?
All whitey then.
All whitey then.
Well, that was a very new experience.
I want to thank BET.
I've been, for the Pete Holm Show, all whitey then.
All whitey then.
All whitey then.
