what's happening you look younger than when I last saw you you because I was fatter
last time
oh you shedding some lbs yeah a little bit not a lot but I was definitely fatter
I was about 20
pounds heavier and what did you do I took a bet yeah a bunch of fatter men
white-collar guys were
on a pub on Wednesday night like we all got hot wives we got a shape up like I
thank you a thousand
dollars no way the town we live in we got some cash I got a trampoline yard
this is so not me me's
like no take your time everybody relax we're lower Malbec those are good comedy
wines the Malbec you
don't hear it that's right yeah well I like a nice dry white so I don't know
what you guys are talking
about give me a short name right thing any day of the week right thing uh
sounds red doesn't it
yeah so where where are we what are we doing this is just a podcast no I know
the podcast but where
we start yeah I don't know where we want we're supposed to go straight make a
left and I made a
you turn and I don't I don't know where I'm at you mean oh in the interview oh
I understand yeah I
literally was like we're going captain I'm not quite sure but keep talking
along turning up a level
are the passengers safe yes they are they're all good one's having white wine
keep doing you
ice cream perfect I love it did you see the cause last night I would have loved
to see Cosby because
uh he was a huge inspiration for me yeah of course me too I love the cause did
you ever get to like
talk with him I've never conversation no you have yes the re since 2008 I
started doing uh cleaner
all clean comedy yeah I was also struggling because I am the hey you were the
half-baked guy in SNL and I
was like I was kind of trying to appeal to that audience and then out of
nowhere uh they said Cosby
wants to come on do your radio show like what does he promote nothing what does
he want well he just
wants to come on your show like me me the guy he wants to do my and I had a
conversation with him
and he goes I've this is how he starts a conversation he goes yes hello
so the reason I'm talking to you and he went he asked me he said I want you to
read a chapter in
my book Cosbyology he's giving you a reading lesson yeah I have a reading
lesson so now I got homework
and I read the he faxes it to me and the chapter says the day I quit show
business I went oh my oh my
god yeah but as the as the chapter went on it said how he when he started he
tried to appeal to an
audience that he wasn't and not until he realized this is what I really want to
talk about and don't fear
that then you will leave the show business you'll become yourself and they will
come to you and yeah
I couldn't have heard that from a bigger influence I really need to hear that
that time and that boom I
set up a tour a university tour of all teenagers because I thought if I can
overcome them then the
family's gonna be easy so yeah it was a huge personal influence it was weird it
was weird and it he he
would say something like this he'd go um he comes on the show and he goes you
were a fat child yes
and I said yeah it was 82 pounds in kindergarten 82 pounds in kindergarten were
you stupid
and I went I went uh no it was actually the king of my block he goes aha so was
fat Albert and they
wanted that's right he goes they wanted him to be stupid and I said fat people
aren't stupid he will be
the leader and I've been struggling with people's opinions and how they want to
pigeon hold us the
rest of my life and I will do it for the rest of my life as you will too
he took out a sword and knighted you
