Folks, I'm happy you're in a great mood because tonight we're going to try
something a little
peculiar, a little strange. We did it about a month ago, or maybe it was more
like two weeks
ago. What difference does it possibly make? It's a little sociological
experiment, the kind of
thing we like to do from time to time here in New York City, because New York
City really is
the center, the cultural hotbed of humanity in this universe. I have no idea
what I just said.
The experiment is this. A couple of weeks ago, we tried to see how many guys in
bunny suits we
could fit into a coffee shop. Here, roll the videotape. There's what it looked
like.
It's up to 17. Look at them. They're packed in there. 17, 20, 21. Just kept
loading them in there.
So tonight, ladies and gentlemen, because we're just days away from, just days
away from April 15th,
your tax deadline, you got to, you have to get those federal tax returns in by
April 15th, or what, Paul?
You get arrested. No, you go to a federal penitentiary. Oh, is that, yeah. If
you don't get your
federal returns in on the 15th, you're going to a federal penitentiary. Yeah,
it's the law. It's not,
I didn't, my hands are tied in this. Tonight, we'll be playing, how many guys
in bunny suits can get
into an H&R block? That's what we'll be playing tonight. All right, turn on the
camera now.
There's an H&R block. Coming up a little bit later, we have Zosia, the world's
only performing turtle.
But first, ladies and gentlemen, we're going to play, how many guys in bunny
suits can get into
an H&R block? Where's the annoying music, Paul? No, forget it. It's too late.
Forget it. It's too late.
No, you've proven to me you don't care. You just don't care. The guy with cue
cards of his own.
What the hell is going on? Racing to another show. All right, fine. How do you
do, sir? Now keep moving.
Fine, thank you very much. All right, walk a little more slowly. There you go.
All right, send in the
first bunny. Here we go. Bunny number one. Into the H&R block. There you go.
Got some tax drivers.
Let's get a dump some eggs. There's one. Let's see if it sticks. Let's see if
it works. All right,
there he is in the window of H&R block. Let's just see what happens here. The
hell is going on. Bunny
doing his own show. Give me bunny number two. There's bunny number two. There
we go.
All right. In case you're just joining us, we're playing how many guys in...
There's Norman
Fell. Beloved character actor Norman Fell just walked by. Did you see him, Paul?
Yeah.
Playing how many guys in bunny suits can you get into an... Wait a minute. Oh,
there's
some trouble here now. Oh, ladies and gentlemen, I believe the answer is two.
And get it. You bunnies. You bunnies get the hell out of here. I'm calling the
police. Mean
old. And don't come. I don't care what kind of tax problems you got. Get the
hell out of
here. You bunnies are ruining the tax business. It's mean old Farmer McGregor
chasing the bunnies
down with a hoe. I don't care. Tell them to go downtown and get their taxes
done. The
dumb sons of bitches can't come in here like that. Wow. Man, we got quite a rhubarb
going
on here. Okay. Anyway, the answer to the question is two, ladies and gentlemen.
We'll keep you
updated. Apparently, the show is being played under protest now. I wonder if
that's H or R.
I've been told that R is the hothead. H and R Block has a new slogan, by the
way. And stay
out. That's a new slogan.
I'm pretty sure that was R Block. He's the hothead. He's the guy with a hair
trigger temper. There
it is. Hey, hey, you punks. You lousy rabbits. You're coming in here ruining
the tax business.
Man, look at that. The natural enemy of accountants anyway. Look at that. Got
him in a choke. Oh,
there you bunks. Yeah, bums. Yeah, it's pretty tough. It's pretty tough when
you guys are in bunny
suits. And also, Zashu, the world's only performing turtle. Biff, are you back
there? Biff,
we got like a bear suit or something upstairs or any kind of suit, like a horse
suit or a monkey suit
or anything. Just go upstairs. Do me a favor. Be a deer. Put that on and go
down and have
your taxes done. Just see if you can't get in down there, all right? By the way,
tomorrow
in H and R Block stores all over the country, you'll see this sign. That's it
right there.
Is Biff over there? Is Biff over there? Let's see if Biff can get into the H.
Now we're playing
can a guy in a... What kind of a suit did he wear? He's dressed like a majorette.
Where is
Biff? Can a guy in a... What does that say? No, a guy in a dog suit. All right,
here we
go. Go on in, Biff. Yeah, that's up to... He's gonna get killed. He's gonna get
dropkicked.
He's gonna get puffed. Blank. And a guy in a... We only got one dog suit, so
this... We'll
just see how this works. Hi. I'm here to have my taxes taken care of. I have a
short form.
I didn't itemize. That's interesting. They get no problem with a guy in a dog
suit. Oh,
look out. Here we... Hey. Hey, you dumb son of a bitch. I don't care. Wow.
Gonna get us
a dust off here. Somebody better intervene. My goodness. Wow. This is like cops,
isn't it? It's like every... Hey, you forgot your...
I got your paw. Oh, man. I see... Are there bunnies over there, too? Can we see
the bunnies? Can we see the bunnies? Can we see the bunnies? No, you can't
there. Sort of... Well, there's some... Yeah, there's your real show going on
over there. Oh, man.
I'm telling you. The H&R Block people can't buy publicity like this. My guess
is tonight you'll be watching a rerun.
And if you like, come by tomorrow and watch me clean out my office.
I don't think you can use an inch of that. I don't think there's a problem. Oh,
you... Oh, you don't think there's a problem? I think it's a problem. I've
checked with legal. I think we're fine. Everything seems all right to you. Yeah,
to me. Oh, man. But that guy, he must have... Well, it's their busy time of
year. No wonder he's a little agitated when... When lovable little fuzzy
cartoon characters come in.
Puppies and bunnies. Boom! Yeah.
We're looking... We're looking at a rerun tonight. We might as well go home now.
This ain't getting on the air.
