tonight uh i guess uh what's been since our last vacation three weeks oh at
least three weeks
so uh if you're keeping track at home you know my slides have come back and we're
going to take
a look at them tonight ladies and gentlemen my slides are my let me uh let me
set up the machine
here sure we got that now do we need to turn down the lights at all or uh is
this going to be all
right okay let me set up the screen uh just to refresh your memory uh like you
forgot this i went
to uh i went to bermuda and uh had a pretty good time let me uh okay there you
go is that gonna work
all right so this will just give you an idea what i uh what i did on my
vacation let me make sure this
is on okay is that working now can everybody see the screen you can all see the
screen okay
uh let me uh let me tell you what we have here first of all this was uh on the
uh trip the flight down
and uh this this was actually this is not my wallet this is the steak ladies
and gentlemen
and it's interesting i don't know if you can see these see those dark marks
across the steak there
now that's to give you the impression that this has been charcoal grilled
uh but the likelihood of them having an open fire on board the airplane for the
for the purpose of
grilling steaks is uh pretty much non-existent okay so now this is i'll tell
you what else is nice about
airplane food is this little thing right there that's that's the kind of thing
you see in prisons a lot
you know okay just drink your milk and don't cause trouble all right now and as
you can see i ate every
last bit of food now now this i had to get a photograph of this guy he actually
ate some of that so there he is right there
and uh here of course is one of these stewardesses
and oh now this is now we're actually in bermuda now now uh this photograph let
me point this out
right here can you see these dark spots where this little arrow is in fact what
the hell is that little
arrow uh these uh these are fish ladies and gentlemen and they're just uh you
wouldn't believe the fish
they're uh they're multi-colored they're they're enormous and and that's a
picture of them right there
uh this right here is uh looks like an evergreen tree of some kind okay now of
course you go to
bermuda there's never a problem with finding all kinds of things to take
pictures of so and here is
the the room had a lot of space and you can see the carpet and we had of course
a desk and now this is room
service and uh uh what you're looking at here is a hard-boiled egg ladies and
gentlemen and uh it's
described on the room service menu as being not just a hard-boiled egg but a
hard-boiled egg from hell
and it just that stayed out there in the rain for four or five nights and then
later we used it to
throw at cats now here here again uh anywhere you go in the ocean you see these
unbelievable fish
and uh well you just kind of have to let your imagination run wild and all
right oh now one
of the things that i enjoy doing best is uh eating on a vacation and and so i
took advantage of some of
these hot snacks kind of a generic food that they really seem to enjoy there on
the island those hot
snacks now this is a another photo of uh hot snacks i i i waited until the sun
was a little lower in the
sky when i took that one now uh this this lets you know that this was not a
dump we were in ladies and
gentlemen uh had a lot of problem with people doing this once they've eaten a
couple of hot snack
i don't i have no idea who this man is uh but he's got a drink and uh looks a
little like bill wendell
so i took his picture now here again are these fish that uh let me point those
out you can see now i
don't know what they're underwater i don't know if they're feeding or breeding
or or a little of
both but the the color of these things they're just every color of the rainbow
and i don't know if you
can see it from that but if you can get a look at like here they just we had uh
even this this shade
of blue here it was just uncanny the kind of the kind of colors that you would
get and then there
was some more of an aquamarine nature it was just every color of the rainbow so
that's the fish now
oh now this uh this is a photograph of a salad and uh i wanted to give you some
specific information
for a photography buffs i stopped down to f16 at a quarter of a second using
the new high-speed
macro lens and as you can see the results were a postcard aren't they
now here again with these fish uh there's some fish there and uh they're just
everywhere you go and
and in fact uh do we have the uh the fish uh chart is that here that's that's
it for the slides but is
there a fish chart i could uh hal who has the fish chart all right last time i
saw was in the green room
uh david okay let me uh let me just go in there in a second yeah i'm going to
show you what these fish
look like i'll be right back uh they're just unbelievable and they're
everywhere they're
primarily the ocean how do you do nice to see you congratulations on the
promotion uh excuse me
fran can i see the fish chart for just a moment thank you very much um
primarily it was this guy right
here and this guy and occasionally you'd see a couple of these boys right there
but that's that's pretty
much the fish and those are the slides from my vacation and by golly i'm proud
of it thank you very much
we'll be back uh we're going to start the show here all right okay uh stupid
pet tricks so come on back
