Ladies and gentlemen, our next guest is one of England's funniest comics.
This man will be appearing at the Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury on June 7th.
So call the travel agents and start packing now.
Ladies and gentlemen, how about a nice, friendly American welcome for Harry
Hill?
Thank you. Thank you. Chicken, liver, carrots, onions, everybody's talking
about.
Casseroles, aren't they? Mmm! Mmm! Let's hear it for the casserole!
Now, tragic week for me this week. My nan died. Yes, tragically.
She was into a coma. Yes, she went into a coma and she was a victim of the
health cutbacks.
I remember one day at the hospital, one of the nurses came up to me and said
that they were going to have to turn off Nana's ventilator
because they needed the plug for something else.
We couldn't have toast in the morning and Nana.
Hmm? Hmm? Don't make me choose. Hmm? Hmm? Hmm? Hmm?
You like the lining? Hmm? You like the lining, madam, don't you? You like the
lining? Hmm? Hmm?
Hmm? And you're probably here for the same reason as me.
You followed a trail of snack food. Am I right? Hmm? Hmm? Hmm? Hmm?
Cheese ball, cheese ball. Hmm? Cheese ball, cheese ball.
Nacho, nacho. Popcorn, popcorn, nut. Am I right? Hmm? Am I right? Hmm?
You see? Hmm? Hmm? Hmm? Galileo, Galileo. You see?
We do... Hmm? Hmm? We do have the lovely singer Cher, of course, over in
Britain now.
The lovely singer and actress Cher, but she does have a rather large rear end,
doesn't she? Hmm? Hmm? Hmm? Hmm? Hmm?
Sorry to use that word, but she does. Hmm?
And the reason for that, that's where she stores nuts and berries. Hmm? Hmm?
Hmm? Hmm?
And she's gathered. Hmm? She's gathered them, because she's highly intelligent
Cher, isn't she? Hmm?
Hmm? She's highly intelligent. She knows show business. Very fickle business,
isn't it? Hmm? Hmm? Hmm?
Very fickle. She's popular at the moment. Hmm? A few years' time, she might not
be so popular. Hmm?
that's when those nuts and berries will come in handy.
You like the line here, don't you?
If mummy loved me, why is she no breathing?
Now little, little, little, little, little, little, little, little, little tip
for you.
Little tip for you now, if you like someone, in a sort of romantic sort of way,
when you buy them a drink, little idea for you, if you like them,
when you buy them a drink, pop a coin into the drink.
Yes, it's rather a nice idea.
Pop a coin into the drink lid.
They drink it down like that.
You think, what's that in the bottom of that drink?
Well, it's a lovely coin gift they can keep.
You see, you take two mice, you paint one red, you paint one blue,
you give them a cutie, Peach, you've got mouse gladiators, haven't you?
Cheeseball, cheeseball, popcorn, popcorn, nacho, nacho, nut.
Am I right?
Now, of course, we do have a lot of the lovely American television programs, of
course.
One's very popular at the moment.
The very popular, of course, probably just as popular over here,
the A-team.
I don't know if you're familiar with that.
Very, thank you for that.
It's very popular.
And I actually wondered to myself,
I wondered if we were all to shout
A-team now,
I wonder if we could get the A-team
to come and join us here now.
What do you say?
After three,
after three, A-team.
One, two, three...
A-team!
Bit of a long shot, wasn't it?
Hmm?
Hey?
Oh.
Hmm.
Hmm?
You've got to try these things, haven't you?
Hmm?
You drop a Bible from a height,
you can kill a squirrel, can't you?
Hmm?
So maybe the Bible isn't all good?
Hmm?
Hmm?
Hmm?
Scaramouche, Scaramouche.
Now,
I meant...
Hmm?
I meant...
Hmm, you like the lining, though, don't you?
Hmm?
It dazzles you.
I meant...
Hmm, yum, yum.
I meant...
Hmm.
I meant to send some flowers to Nan's funeral,
but I...
I got the wrong number.
Halfway through the service,
a pizza arrived.
With Nan spelt out in pepperoni.
My girlfriend, Jean, she, uh...
She died, as well, yes.
Sorry to...
Yes.
Yes, thank you for that sympathy.
She...
She choked on a coin.
Eric, nice to meet you.
Nice job.
Harry Hill.
Ladies and gentlemen,
take a bow, Harry.
Take a bow.
Yes, sir.
We'll be right back
with Spin Doctor.
We'll see you next time.
