Since the current administration's cutbacks on financial aid, there's been
increased responsibility
for the private sector to carry on the important work once being done by
universities and research
labs. That's why we went back yet another time to drop an all-new bunch of
stuff off of a five-story
tower. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to what we hope will be
a few fine minutes
of television. NBC, of course, is referring tonight as the pride of their
television lineup.
Tonight, once again, by popular demand, we'll be dropping things off a five-story
tower.
Something to help me celebrate my anniversary. Well, congratulations. We'll be
happy to help you
celebrate that wonderful occasion, and what better way to do it than with some
fine champagne. We have
here, some ShopRite champagne, so good luck to you.
Drop some surgical gloves filled with butterscotch pudding. Surgical gloves
filled with butterscotch
pudding. Uh, geez, I don't know. Give us a minute on that. Could you, could you
drop one of those round
things? You know, I can't remember what it's called. You know, it's one of
those round things. Oh, you
mean one of these. Yeah, I, I, I can never think of the name either. Okay.
Yeah. How about some surgical gloves filled with butterscotch pudding?
Again, we hear a request for surgical gloves filled with pudding, butterscotch
pudding.
Hmm. Let's go on to something else. Something I like to see is a lawn ornament.
Well, that's interesting you bring that up. Lawn ornaments happens to be one of
my favorite
categories of things, uh, and here's a beauty right here. All right, let's load
it up there. Make sure the
kids aren't a lot of kids aren't down there.
Please. Surgical gloves filled with butterscotch pudding. Please.
Oh, all right. Sure. Okay. Surgical gloves full of butterscotch pudding, but we
won't be responsible for this.
Can I see something from a disco? Well, uh, we tried to get something from a
disco. First, we were going
to get watered down drinks and then we were going to get a bunch of annoying
guys, uh,
but all we could come up with is the ball here.
Well, how about a nylon stocking? Maybe with some food in it?
Well, once again, this is something that I never would have requested and, and
frankly,
it's nothing I can sanction and believe me, I'm just sick about it. A stocking
full of lard.
Drop a nylon stocking full of chili.
How about some kind of heirloom? Oh, heirlooms. That's another one of my
favorite categories. Here we
have the silver tea tray and the, uh, full complement of rare china tea pot and,
and, uh, cups and sugar and creamer.
Well, there you have it. I certainly hope you folks at home have enjoyed this
as much as we
have enjoyed bringing it to you. You know, we've had a lot of fun. We've seen a
lot of fascinating,
interesting things, and I think we've learned a couple of things about mankind.
But if you're
anything like I am, probably tired right about now. But you know, speaking on
behalf of myself and
the entire crew, it's a good kind of tired.
Thank you. Good night. Drive safely. Okay. We'll be right back with Lou Albano,
folks.
