Oh here we go the fun's not over our next guest a very funny entertaining man
and the star of his
own show entitled billy on the street a new season will begin this fall on true
tv ladies and gentlemen
the one the only billy eichner i want to tell you yes i'm very upset what's the
matter i'm very
upset what's the problem billy i love al franken i don't want to talk about
global warming yeah okay
i don't want to talk about gay rights i want to talk about herbert hoover uh-huh
i am very upset
that you're leaving and i'm very emotional about trying to get a hold of
yourself no i'm telling
you what are we going to do without you dave there'd be plenty to do you opened
the door for straight
white men in late night yes are you kidding thank you very much yes without dave
do you think we'd
have a carson daily no i don't think so i don't think so either i in a very
short period of time
i've become a huge admirer of yours i'm so honored and i and i so enjoy uh the
energy thank you and
the direction it takes you let me ask you something sure what the hell is cbs
gonna do without you
well they got i'm down no they have they have great ratings but what legends do
they have now mark
harman i mean he's great look they don't even know who that is he's the star he's
the star of ncis and
i can see he's made quite an impression you don't want to insult the audience
here no yeah my goodness
they'll be just fine now tell me what are you gonna do now dave you're gonna
you're gonna eat
matzo brie with larry king yes i mean what are you gonna do i mean that's
exactly right okay i'm sorry
what were you saying i wanted you to tell me about i didn't realize this uh
that you have a relationship
with the first lady of the united states michelle obama i wouldn't say a
relationship
what was the deal well the first lady michelle obama uh has a campaign that she
works on with
sesame street in which uh the sesame street characters are going to be put all
over it's
already happening all over fruits and vegetables and grocery stores like you'll
see elmo on some
bananas or something i don't know and then and it's all about getting kids to
eat healthier right and so
they wanted to raise awareness of this campaign so the first lady and her team
and sesame street reached
out to me and we did a billy on the street video this is what we're looking at
here photo or something
yeah there we are yeah look how beautiful i look um yes that's we did a billy
on the street video with
the first lady and big bird and i'll tell you the after party was insane i mean
what a night that was
let me tell you about big bird okay i don't want to hear about big bird look he's
i want to tell
you one thing in that photo yes no offense but uh she is the only normal
looking one yes we forget
about the bird costume you look like somebody has just said hello by grabbing
you below the belt
she just looks fine no she looks beautiful i always look insane i have the best
underbite and show
business dave um but yeah it was it was a really fun day a big bird michelle obama
both amazing
behind the scenes big bird is an ass i'll tell you that right now i mean very
very difficult
but the first lady was lovely and in addition to raising awareness for healthy
eating for kids
yeah i didn't really care about that you know i mean ride a bike do you know
what i mean eat some
broccoli what do i care i loved her on my show though sure yeah yeah i'll tell
you what now we have
something special that billy uh and i have prepared for you we'll be right back
with billy eichner
everybody you have a show on on hulu yeah so that's not the billy on the street's
about to go into
its fourth season uh will begin on true tv and tbs in the fall i believe and
then i have a new scripted
show which amy poehler is producing she's great she's amazing called difficult
people with my friend
julie klausner which will be on hulu because every young actor when they grow
up dreams of being streamed on
hulu dave it's always the goal at juilliard really it's really are they yes it's
a goal i was huge at
juilliard dave no i'm just kidding uh no very excited and it's a very very
funny show uh-huh so

honored that you asked
me to be a part of are you kidding no i'm not kidding ridiculous it was great
fun well thank you i
well like i said i'm very upset that dave is leaving so i invited dave to hit
the streets of new york with
me the way i do on my show to ask new yorkers what dave should do next and i
was shocked and honored
that dave said he would join me dave invented these bits which i watched many
years ago as a kid and as
i grew up and i was so excited to have him and uh you know there is no global
warming yeah
i heard that i heard that and i don't think there was a herbert hoover to be
honest i never heard of
