- Hi, I'm Barbara Gaines.
This is Mary Barkley and our good friend Dave Letterman.
- Hi, thank you once again for having me on the show.
Good to see you, Barbara and Mary.
- Hi. - Thanks, good to be here.
Hi, what's going on?
- What is going on?
- Well, today I have what they call a hack.
- A hack? - A life hack.
- It's a life hack, it's a dental hack,
and it's so good, this dental hack,
dentists don't want you to know.
It's just that good. - Taking out big dental.
- That's right.
So get ready, and by the way, don't worry about it,
but I know you're gonna wanna thank me later.
Often, I find that I'm wasting time and water,
and as you know now, we're in the middle
of a stranglehold drought.
It's unlikely that humanity will recover from this drought.
This could be the official beginning of the end.
So try this hack and maybe we can beat the deadly drought.
Time and money.
What I like to do, in the shower, I keep a tube of toothpaste,
your Crest, your Pepsodent.
- Colgate.
- Colgate.
- Sensodyne.
- Sensodyne.
Any of your favorite toothpastes, keep it right there in the,
you probably have a shower caddy.
Keep the toothpaste in your shower caddy, along with your toothbrush.
You probably see where I'm going with this, right?
Get into the shower, squeeze out a lot of paste onto your brush.
Start scrubbing in the shower.
Now, flip on the water.
Flip on the water.
And by the time you're ready to get in there, or just hop right on in,
you're still brushing away.
You rinse with the shower.
You're done.
And then you put the brush, and then you go on with your shower.
You've saved time.
You've saved money.
Dentists don't want you to know about this.
- Questions?
Can I ask a question?
- Yeah, go ahead.
- So, you're brushing your teeth naked in the shower?
- No, fully clothed.
Right before you're ready to go out, hop in the shower and suds them up.
- I know, maybe you still had your towel or your robe on,
and then you start brushing your teeth.
- You've never taken a shower, have you?
No.
It's a regular shower.
It's time to shower.
Oh, I think I'll hop in the shower.
I'm so tired of hearing people tell me they're going to hop in the shower.
And I always say, "Well, be careful you don't hit your head."
- Um, I'm like, does that, so that just saves time?
- Saves time and money.
- And water.
- I'm sorry, and water.
- That's the money.
- And money.
Oh yeah, you'll double your paycheck doing this.
That's my dental hack.
Try it and give me a call.
I'm just kidding about that.
- Oh, but I have another question.
- Yeah.
- About the call.
- What about flossing?
- Yeah, you can floss all you want.
But flossing typically does not involve water.
- Water.
- Water.
Well, the emphasis here would be on the savings.
Savings of time, savings of water.
Flossing, you can pretty much do over a dry sink.
I do a lot of dry sink flossing.
- All right, then.
- Who's on next?
- No, we never have any other guests.
Thanks for joining us.
Don't forget to subscribe.
- Oh, wait a minute.
My mic is not plugged yet.
- Oh, my God.
- Oh, my God.
- I think that's a sign.
- This is the best day ever.
