ladies and gentlemen our first guest tonight does it all she is the mother to
three children
including a new daughter to lula bell and she is also the star of the number
one film in this
now see that's the thing about this woman a lot of people are making movies
this woman
only makes number one blockbuster movies true yeah uh it's called disclosure
ladies
gentlemen we're always happy to have her with us on the program please welcome
demi moore
buddy buddy i don't have the blues anymore
how are you doing i'm great nice to see you you got it you know you got you
just got a great life you
have like a storybook life you know when you think about it you have three
beautiful kids you're a
beautiful woman you're a nice woman you're a smart woman you couldn't you
couldn't be more successful
you got a husband who's doing okay he's had a pretty good year as well hasn't
he not bad
now you know when you came out there and you kind of grabbed me like that yeah
yeah and by the way
tell your friends uh now the ones who told me yeah now is that sort of like
what goes on in the movie
with uh you and uh mike douglas mike douglas who want to talk about is it mike
douglas michael michael
douglas yeah i'm sorry i'm a little rattled the woman came out and grabbed my
ass what do you want
from me oh buddy oh buddy she's trying to hurt me well it's not exactly like
that yeah this was much
better really no no but i mean what what exactly goes on there in the movie
tell it the big scene
that everybody's talking about takes place on the guy's desk right uh actually
it's on a scaffold
on a scaffold in my uh in my office right by the way and um it's really
actually very very awkward
and uh we did one take and i was completely shocked and i i called a big powwow
and i said to my makeup
and hair people please i need a conference because i don't know what to do here
and uh they gave me a
pep talk and told me what do you mean you didn't know what to do well you know
come on i've been
married seven years you know you kind of say hey honey come on let's go in and
do the chore and
and you know come on seven years so you're saying you're a little you're a
little your moves you're
a little a little those those good come online so i called them in for the big
powwow and they gave me
some what kind of things did they tell you the makeup and hair people well i
don't know if i could
say all right let me see all right now be careful wow wait a minute she's
i see if i was talking to my makeup and hair people would be uh your face is a
little shiny
a little blush or something a little shiny there just a little shiny
give you a comb out or something but i think we have a clip of that don't we
yeah we do have a clip of
this movie now now again this is just great every movie that you're in turns
out to be not only it's
a good movie but it's very very successful and i asked you this before how do
you keep picking
these because sooner or later somebody will get a dog you know i have a ouija
board now that's what
you said last time but you you must know something about these movies you must
have some sort of
intuition come on potluck no you've had a pretty good record all right tell the
folks what we're
going to see here in the clip um this is the big scene and what's interesting
is once i had my pep
talk there was a very distinct change in my voice i mean i have a husky voice
to begin with
and it's getting huskier because you know dave got me into smoking cigars now
that's not true tell
people that i have one backstage you're smoking cigars now well see now that's
not good i know it's
bad yeah anyway you gotta have one bad thing uh you know when you're married
seven years now tell me
you know i don't mean to interrupt but what happens when big time gorilla mr
box office bruce your husband
sees this videotape of you grabbing me is that going to be trouble for me
i don't know we could try to call no let's don't no let's just maybe maybe go
to sleep early tonight
perhaps the good news is he's in la there you go there's distance for
protection yeah absolutely
all right now get back to the clip oh the clip so i'm saying that my voice
really got huskier and i
don't know we'll play it you'll hear it it sounds a little different is what
you're saying yeah it does
sounds like somebody else roll the videotape of the film here hal and let's see
this is demi
more from disclosure michael douglas there was that so bad
come on well there's still a chance we might get caught
oh yes i think so
it's it sounds a little there's a little like call doesn't it
i don't think so she just has been smoking cigar
we got to do a commercial hang around here you know you look great you look
like you're like uh
11 years old you look like a kid is that that's a good thing oh yeah i think so
sure
how's the new baby oh she's fantastic she's in our of the green room really
yeah can we see her a
little later all right maybe we'll take okay we have to do a commercial and
then we'll be right back
here with demie moore jack hannah and stone temple pilots and sitting in with
the band all night mr blue's
buddy guy hey you know uh to me the last time you were here you were pregnant i
don't know like six
seven months or so no a week i delivered a week after i was on the oh my god is
that right and you
remember what you did yes yeah you were like quite a reaction and people were
very upset yeah you were
turning like cartwheels and stuff on the stage i'd been doing my gymnastics
which i want you to know
i have kept up and have really gotten very good and there's even a special
class that i've been able
to take that's you know it's a mommy and me oh that's great yeah so i get to
take the baby and we
do you're not doing the same kind of stuff you were doing when you were
pregnant well it's it's
well it's it's different because that was frightening to see a pregnant woman
kind of just flying
across the stage you know my grandmother called yeah and then like the next day
women were coming
up to me and said we shouldn't have let her do that i said well i had no
control over that wow yeah
but i can show you a few things it depends we just actually had a little class
today but she
might be asleep with the baby oh i'd love to see the baby let's just see the
baby is in the green
room uh yeah okay i hope it's okay all right yeah no all right i'll just wait
on you here demie moore
going into the green room this would be some green room music there she is
there oh look at that
baby a little it's a little holiday baby oh she's got a little thing on there
though what do they call
those paul that they carry the little baby around in like a little baby what is
it they call him a
snuggly oh that's cute and oh they're coming out now demie moore and those are
hair and makeup people
putting her in the little harness here she comes yes demie moore oh wait a
minute
my god
oh my goodness that was really hi how are you sweetheart well she seemed to
have enjoyed that
all right be very careful oh yeah very nice job
oh goodness you know you know i'm taking a break i'm not smoking them anymore
yeah i'm just resting
up no when i get to be old i'll start smoking again well hell i'm old now i
might as well light
up go ahead uh the movie couldn't be doing better business it's doing that must
be very gratifying
for it and you're going to have a lovely holiday season with you and the family
all set for christmas
i'm getting my list for my kids as a matter of fact my oldest is uh you know
now that she has a new
sibling gave me her list her first thing was she wanted to live forever even
though her ghost would
live forever and the second thing was is she wanted there to be only one child
that's me rumor only one
child in the world or in the family or both well a little difficult you can't
you can't do that can
you i said i could get her different parents uh give my best to your lovely and
talented husband
always a delight to have you here demie moore ladies and gentlemen
