Artist formerly known as Prince, I'd like you to meet the artist currently
known as Pinhead.
Ladies and gentlemen, our next guest is one of music's most influential and
talented performers.
The song he will be doing for us tonight is from this CD right here,
which is entitled The Gold Experience, and I'm told this particular CD will
never be released.
So it makes perfect sense that he's here promoting it tonight.
Ladies and gentlemen, do me a favor, please welcome...
The artist formerly known as Prince.
A beautiful little world has to be
Before they conquer every heart
I will you know if I'm even in the right key
If you make me stop before I start
If I came back at a dolphin, would you listen to me then
If you let me be your friend, would you let me hear
Cut off all my fears back to your ears, I will not say
I'll let you kill me, I will not say
There's a comment, there's a comment, oh yeah
If I'm on the right away and find me
If I'm on the right away and find me
Will you shine a light and try to guide me
It's happened before, I'm not gonna know if I'm even in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm even in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm even in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
I'm not gonna know if I'm in the right key
Back as a dolphin
Would you listen to me there?
Would you let me be your friend?
Would you let me in?
You can cut off all my things
But do your ways I will not end
I'm dying before I let you tell me how to swear
I'll come back baby
I'll come back baby
Get me in
Get me in now
Don't be afraid
I'll come back baby
I'll come back baby
I'll come back baby
I'll come back baby
I'm just a dumb baby. I'm just a dumb baby. I'm just a dumb baby. I'm just a
dumb baby.
Yes! There he goes. The artist formerly known as Prince, and I understand he
does that same
thing on the Kathie Lee Gifford Christmas special. Is he all right, Paul? I'm
sure he is. Are you sure
he's all right? I'm sure he is. Because he was carried off stage. Well, he's
all right. Take it
from me. He's okay. Remember Julio Iglesias? We had him on there? Yeah. There's
something
odd happened to him that night, too. I remember that. Yeah. But you think he's
okay? I'm sure
he is. Let me give you a pointer for the band. Get yourself some of these
things. Some of
that stuff. Yeah. I know. How's that going, buddy? Don't worry about that. Don't
worry.
Now you're in business. Well, that was exciting. All right. All right. Settle
down. Relax. We'll
get you out here. Don't worry. Everything's fine. A lot of pressure running one
of these nickel
and dime shows here. Oh, yeah. Well, that was exciting. You don't see that a
lot. No,
it's terrific. Yeah, no. So it would be nice to have him back sometime. I'd
love to. Yeah.
We'll see you next time.
