Here we go, ladies and gentlemen, Campaign 2000. Turn it on.
Campaign 2000, brought to you by Heart Bypass Surgery,
America's most popular cardiac surgery.
Get in on the action!
Okay, ladies and gentlemen, it's a very popular segment of the show.
It's Campaign 2000.
Here's the host, the star of Campaign 2000,
our executive producer, Rob Burnett.
Rob, what do you have planned for Campaign 2000 tonight?
You know, I've noticed that it doesn't have much to do with the campaign
anymore.
Well, the campaign is pretty much on hold, don't you think?
I don't think anybody really cares about the campaign anymore.
I know I certainly don't care about it anymore.
I don't...
But, you know, you're the host and the star, so what do you have?
Do you have anything?
Uh, no.
Okay, well, I have a little something.
I prepared a little something just for this possibility
that you might not have something for Campaign 2000.
It's a little something I call
What's the Deal with Old Guys and Giant Glasses?

What do you mean?
That's the game then?
Yeah.
Okay, I just want to make sure I get it.
I got it.
No, that's how you play.
Okay, that's how you play.
Okay, that's how you play.

Did you get a point?
Well, I'm not sure.
Okay.
Here we go.
This is Chairman of the Federal Reserve, Alan Greenspan.
Aha.
They're large glasses.
What's the deal with old guys in giant glasses?
So far, so far, as far as I know, both those men are alive.
I believe so.
Okay, now you got that one, right?
Yeah.
You've gotten them both, huh?
I've gotten them both, yeah.
How are you doing?
Did you get them both?
I got the first one.
I'm two for two.
Two for two, all right.
Funny man Jerry Lewis.
Right.
Giant, giant glasses.
Right.
Yes, they are, yeah.
Huh?
I got three now.
I'm three.
Here's a guy who's been on the show, a friend of ours.
The next time he's on, we'll ask him about that.
Let's see.
Mentalist.
Oh, yes, Crescett, yeah.
So far, everybody's alive.
Mm-hmm.
TV personality, Larry King.
Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
You ever ask yourself, what is the deal with old guys and giant glasses?
I have, yeah, yeah.
Huh?
I have.
I asked myself just a minute ago.
Yeah, giant glasses and old guys.
Yeah, yeah.
What's happening there?
Yeah, they go together for some reason.
Yeah, for some reason, yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
Star of stage, screen, and nightclub floor, Milton Berle.
Sure.
Look at those.
That's a lot.
What's the deal with old guys and lipstick?
That's another.
That's another.
What's that all about?
Did you get that one?
I got that one.
Okay, now here's a guy who's dead.
The late George Burns.
Yes.
Look at that.
Giant glasses.
Yes.
He lived to be almost 100 years old, didn't he?
He did, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
And his vision, right up to the end, excellent with those giant glasses.
He could see everything with those enormous...
Okay, now I'm going to skip a couple here.
Okay.
The audience doesn't seem to be too disappointed about that.
I am.
Italian bombshell Sofia Loren.
Sure.
Oh, yes.
Look at those glasses.
I've seen them.
Yeah.
Very large.
So it's not just guys then.
The game really applies to everybody.
Well, of course.
Bombshells, you know, female and male.
I mean, how could it be just guys?
Can you imagine the amount of trouble we would get in if we restricted this
just to men?
That's true.
It wouldn't be politically...
It's 2,000 for God's sake.
You're not in Canada anymore.
I mean, how could it be just guys?
Can you imagine the amount of trouble we would get in if we restricted this
just to men?
That's true.
It wouldn't be politically...
It's 2,000 for God's sake.
That's right.
2,000 for God's sake.
You're not in Canada anymore, my friend.
How silly.
That's provincial kind of parochial thinking.
It just doesn't...
Eh?
Italian bombshell Sofia Loren.
Yes.
Still alive.
Been on the show.
Still getting it.
For my money, still getting it done.
Oh, yeah.
America's Greatest Living Playwright Arthur Miller.
That's how we know he's still with us.
He's America's Greatest Living...
I'm gonna skip a dead guy.
You're gonna skip ahead?
All right.
I think that when you introduce a dead guy, I think it's a downer.
I agree, yeah.
You think so?
I can see, yeah.
Recently, this man won an account for...
Oh, yes.
Actor Michael Caine.
Right.
Look at those.
